Dear Citizens,

To prepare for our upcoming possible move and also just as housekeeping, I asked that all of the five other members (I make six) of the Guard post saying they were active.

Only the High Protector answered.

So, today, I fired over half of the Order. Needless to say, we're accepting applications.

Dear Citizens,

I'm announcing the removal of the posts of "Order Liaisons" within the Guard. They were taking up space and not being used. Therefore, the new liaisons to any Orders shall be as they essentially were the whole time: the Shadow and High Protectors.

Dear Citizens,

I apologize for making two announcements on the same day, my friends, but I have some news.

As you saw recently, the Emperor challenged me to find a new title for the leader of this Order, and I have arrived on it.

The leader of the Royal Guard is no longer the "Shadow Protector." From here on, the captain of the Royal Guard shall be known as the "Sovereign Defender", with their deputy being the "High Defender".

I shall be Sovereign Defender Tarna, with High Defender Adenn at my side. Please try your best to use the new titles whenever referring to us, although I know the transition may be rocky.
