Kindrid Nokah

The dojo. It was a place filled with rage, hate, and the dark side. Almost every Sith had entered this dark place atleast once before and now it was Revus' time. He slowly paced in a circle around the room, getting closer to the very center of the room. His hilt felt almost weightless in his firm grip and served as a constant reminder of his hatred for his father. This would surely help him in his duel with his fairly new fellow apprentice, Durza. As he reached the center of the room, he stopped and pulled his hood back, igniting his cerulean blade with his freehand.

Durza in turn, ignited his training lightsaber, and bent his knee's in an offensive pose of form two. "Are you ready?" Durza said quietly to the other apprenice. Durza was barely able to see the other apprentice's eyes through his hair. "I wonder how he is gonna hit me, if he can't see me" Durza thought.

Kindrid Nokah

Kindrid crouched down slightly and held his lightsaber firmly in both hands, the stance of Ataru. Without waiting for his opponent to attack, he decided to make the first move. He leapt into the air and landed on the hard durasteel floor just a few feet in front of Durza. He lunged forward while still in the crouch and stabbed his lightsaber directly for Durza's stomach.

Durza spun his lightsaber in front of him, redirecting Kindrid's blade to the left, leaving Durza's blade at Kindrid's chest, and Durza quikly made a swipe across Kindrid's ribs. He backed up from his kneeling opponent, and said "You left yourself open". He knew the shock of the training blade would not kill his opponent, so Durza found duelling a bore.

((Its not Gmodding, my blade was right there, so what am I supposed to do? withdraw? It was a legitimate move.))

Kindrid Nokah

Kindrid clenched his teeth as he took a step back away from Durza. Had he forgotten that Ataru, when matched up against Makashi, was very weak? He shook his head slightly and used his training to ease the pain by placing it in the back of his mind. He quickly stood straight and raised his blade over his head, turning it to a 45 degree angle back and down. Not hesitating, he swung his blade overhead forcefully at Durza's neck, an attack known as the "falling avalanche" by many.

Durza backflipped and let his anger toward his late family, give him access to the force. He then pushed at Kindred using the force, and threw a chair in the room at the back of his knees, almost simultaniously. "Have a seat" Durza said with a grim smile. Durza always had a sense of humor, that only seemed to work in inappropriate times like this, but at least he found it funny.

Kindrid Nokah

Kindrid was sent backwards by a moderate Force push and could easily sense the chair flying right at him. Right as it came within range, he redirected it into a nearby wall which caused it to smash into pieces. After he had regained his composure, he ran towards his opponent again and lifted his freehand into the air sending tendrils of blue energy at Durza.

Durza swung his lightsaber arounf to absorb the blue tendrils of lightning coming out of Kindrid's fingertips. And then soaked in fury from his last attack failing, used the force to try to throw kindred up, and into the ceiling. Hoping it would be enough to knock him out.

(Hey, you are going to have to let your opponent have a chance to react to you moves. When you just say,"I grabbed and threw you", that isn't giving a chance for your opponent to react, as in,"I grabbed for him to see if I could throw him." Kindrid is a stronger fighter at the moment than you right now anyway, so every attack you throw will not hit him. Just forewarning, okay?)

Kindrid Nokah

Kindrid hesitated and for that, he paid. His eyes scrunched as his back slammed forcefully into the ceiling, pain rippling through his body. Almost immediately afterwards, he fell to the floor. Just before he was about to crash into the floor however, he used the Force to sustain his body and landed gracefully on his feet.

As he stood waiting, Kindrid's hatred for his father boiled his blood and his eyes turned pitch black. Now immersed deeply in the dark side, Kindrid charged at Durza. Once in range, he slashed horizontally at his chest then spun around and hacked diagonally at his neck, hoping to get a hit.

Durza narrowly managed to block the first attack, but while trying to block the second, aimed at his neck, he only diverted the blade to his arm. He growled at the pain, but used it to access the dark side. He began to amass the force within himself, while readying himself in a defensive position of Djem So. And suddenly, durza released the dark side energy within himself, trying to crush his enemy with the force. He had never tried to do such a thing before, and it was done out of blind rage, so he had no real idea of what he was trying to do exactly, but he was going to try.

Kindrid Nokah

Fortunately, Kindrid had a defensive Force barrier draped around himself, preventing him from being choked. He grinned sinisterly and elbowed Durza in the face, seeing as how he was in close proximity to him. Blood dripped from the young apprentice's nose as Kindrid's elbow connected cleanly, making a slight crunching noise. Immediately afterwards, Kindrid slashed horizontally at Durza's stomach, the hilt held tightly in both hands.

Durza quickly jumped to the side, wrapped his arm around Kindrid's neck, and firmly grabbed the hand Kindrid's lightsaber was in. Durza nose hurt, and he could feel the broken bones. "I'm glad I don't use my nose for anything ueful" he thought to himself, enduring the supreme pain in his nose.

Kindrid Nokah

Kindrid could feel the hold on his neck closing and he had to act fast. He immediately reactivated his lightsaber and swung it around his side. Durza, reacting swiftly, let go of his hold on Kindrid which allowed him enough time to recuperate. The Berean native rolled forward then immediately turned around and threw his brilliant cerulean blade at his fellow apprentice. At the same time, Kindrid shot a burst of blue lightning from his fingertips once more.

Durza

Durza swiftly jumped to the side, and with his left hand, grabbed Kindrid's lightsaber, and blocked the lightning with the two lightsabers he now weilded. He moved from side to side, slowly pushing Kindrid into a corner, and could sense his enemies fear. Once cornered, he swung a form two strike at Kindrid's neck, but still keeping his left lightsaber in a defensive position.

"Man I've taken a beating. But so has he, more him than I, or so I believe" Durza thought to himself. He couldn't wait for this long and tedious feud to end, so he could continue his training.
