The Staff is ordered to release the rancor to anyone they deem in violation/not upholding these standards. My inbox is a few clicks away, do not hesitate to contact me with a concern. As Emperor and Administrator, I will likely support the senior-most officer dealing with a situation; so please don't expect too much sympathy.

You know if one or more users [especially if they're not Staff] have requested an end to bickering, debating, break-dancing or any other event judged unbecoming, it's probably not in your best interest to continue where the rest of the forum can read it.

Whilst I dreamed, there have been two incidents in clear violation of my announcement. I do not take kindly to people who continue to break rules even after a very good chance they have read them.

As such I expect a message [you know who you are] detailing what must be done to end this unflattering, childlike behavior. If I don't agree with your assessment and solution, I'll be sending you, your Order head and advising the Staff on what to do.

My loving people, both Sith and sub-species, I regret to inform you that negotiations to create a joint DSL-Rebels roleplay have failed due to creative and practical differences.

I would encourage and highly admire anyone to participate in battle-like roleplay situations but be aware that these roleplays may not- MAY NOT- be considered canonical for any Sith or Sith-affiliated character of the DarkSithLords forum.

Users in violation of this policy shall be met with consequences, the very least of which is demotion in-character by three ranks.

There shall be no selective canonical work. Both forums must endorse creative property beforehand, and since it will not be happening, there is no need to control your characters for a less enjoyable roleplay experience.

The Jedi Council is corrupt and their purpose has been blind sighted by the want to control their users. So, for the good of the two forums, DSL hereby disassociates itself with the MyFreeForum Rebels.

The High Council has chosen this course of action for several reasons, the least of which involves the Jedi Council's refusal to allow DSL users the right to hold a dual account on their site. As now seperate entities, our Timeline shall be entirely redone to accomodate the dropping of Rebels.

The 'forum war' we may have had with our sister site is now a dead prospect. Any Sith may be involved with galactic-scale roleplay on Rebels, but it shall not be canonical for their Sith character here.

We shall be recrafting the Timeline in accordance to the split. Jedi elements, influences, etc. shall be purged.

In short: We're Sith; they're Jedi. Happy hunting.

I am removing myself from the advancement of our members. High Prophet Praxeum, and his subcouncil, now have the sole authority on who is to be promoted when.

The old system is to remain in place. Dark Lords and Dark Ladies may petition me for their right to advance members outside this system and of course I retain my executive privilege to disregard it entirely.

However, my focus on such matters has been lax lately and concessions must be paid to the council in charge of such matters. Henceforth, promotions approved by the subcouncil for Population Control and Ranks are binding and no longer require my blessing.

This message is directed at... everyone... quit dragging your heels in recognizing rights and privileges for new Order Heads.

Specifically, Darth Aequitas gets what other Order Heads get/got, except Dark Lord status, which is mine to give. He gets exactly an identical fleet as Darths Praxeum, Tarna, Prognie, etc. He also gets proper respect and authority.

After much restructuring, I can officially declare the updated Hall of Dark Patronage open! You will find each of the five Dark Patrons are suited for each different ideals and philosophies of the Sith.

Darth Bane

Known as a visionary by some and a fool by others, Darth Bane joined the ranks of the Brotherhood of Darkness and was trained on the ancient planet of Korriban. As his power and influence over the Dark Side grew, his confidence in Lord Kaan and his followers fell. After leaving the Sith Academy, Darth Bane ventured on his own until he had fully created the philosophy of the Rule of Two.

Darth Nihilus

Falling victim to the Mass Shadow Generator at the Battle of Malachor V, Darth Nihilus became a synonym for hunger. He ravaged his own body in a lust for Force energy and afflicting his desire on others, becoming a wound in the Force. His power grew exponentially over time, as did his hunger, even giving him the capacity to exterminate the entire planet of Katarr without stepping foot on it.

Darth Sidious

The founder of the Galactic Empire, Darth Sidious use betrayal and manipulation to coordinate both a battle for the planet of Naboo and, years later, a galaxy-wide conflict, which led to the downfall of the Galactic Republic. But not even death could hold this Dark Lord to his grave; when he was murdered, his spirit traveled to numerous clones of himself, allowing him immortally if his foes had not intervened.

Darth Traya

Darth Traya was a Jedi Master and Historian until the Council removed her from the Order when a number of her apprentices joined in the Mandalorian Wars, including Revan. After finding the Trayus Academy, Traya joined Darth Sion and Darth Nihilus in a plan to eradicate the Jedi Order, but the two quickly betrayed her and stripped her of the Force. She learned to loathe the Force as a whole and wished to see its demise.

Vergere

Trained in the Jedi arts by Thracia Cho-Leem, Vergere was a member of their dangerous monastic order in the declining days of the Old Republic. Both her influence on Jacen Solo and her quizzical philosophies where key in the downfall of the Yuuzhan Vong. Many years after her death, it was discovered she was in fact a Sith.
