My forthcoming abdication shall be marked by one last stab at progress on my part, and as such, I am introducing a system wherein the executive official of this Empire has true oversight over every official.
In the next several days, I shall be sitting down with a pre-compiled checklist for each rank, station, Order, council, School, and person, and I shall be making judgments based on my findings to determine what stays, what goes, or in some cases: Who gets what. I shall be demoting and promoting without fear of reprecussion because, well, I'm on my way out anyway.
In all honesty, I shall be making sweeping reforms in the government of the Empire in an attempt to provide the next ruler something to build off of that hasn't been "mine" in ages past.
