My resignation

High Mage Serratus

I hereby resign from all my offices, surrender all my titles and that henceforth, my accounts and characters be deemed inactive, effective immediately. This applies not only to my primary account and character, High Mage Serratus, but also to my secondary account and character, Venedictos Appo and to my auxillary characters, Darths Dorian and Tao.

I'm not going to be vague about why at all. I feel that due to the environment created by the egotistic, ignorant and intolerant attitudes of Marix and Thrax, I can no longer enjoy TDSL as I once did. This is not a spur of the moment decison, this is not a bluff, I will not come crawling back in a few days. I will not respond to any PMs sent to either of my accounts, I might respond to an email, depending on the sender and subject matter.

It was a fun ride while it lasted guys but as long as Thrax and Marix are here on TDSL, I won't be.

I'd like to point out that the "egotistic, ignorant and intolerant" persons are the ones that resign. Those of us that are not those, but rather tolerant, wise, open, and mature are the ones that stay on and try to solve the problem.

If I resigned every time I wasn't enjoying TDSL, or got into an argument with someone and lost, I'd have quit about a week after joining, and if not then, probably every other month between now and then.

Notice how resigning has never worked for anyone.

If you had just followed the rules, you would never have entered the situation to begin with. But you had to get your important post in, because we all need to read what you want to post. Now that is egotistical.

I'm sick of Thrax's blatent attacks and just sick of Marix exerting his "authority" when Will assured me he'd be just an Admin working on the technical issues for the move.

Aequitas, your stuck up attitude will not be missed. Seriously, if I'm not acting as an adult, then you're acting like a toddler.

And knowing someone in real life makes no connection to having a social life. In fact, I was barely online yesterday because I was out and about. And I'd appreciate if you left your own opinions of whether I have a life or not, which are going to be wrong, to yourself. Many people that I know of in real life that have no lives, know people in real life too. So keep your attempts at attacks to yourself and try to be mature.

I've been sick of your attitude since you joined, Aequitas, trying to be the Judge and acting superior to everyone because Shadow trained you. But look at how I'm still here. Because apparently not being an adult gives me a better outlook on life or something. Or I can just work around it. Somehow I can't exactly see how I'm the immature one here.

It's very easy to throw around the "he's immature" card and then resign. But when the person you are attacking is very mature and you're the one acting immature, it really doesn't fly.

I'm sorry that I'm the only Admin that is active right now. Yes I was brought on to deal with technical issues, but that doesn't change the fact that I am an Admin and I made a call where I saw fit. If you were mature, you would have accepted it, and we would have moved on. If Will didn't like it, he could say something when he got back, and by that time, those of us that were mature would have moved on entirely.

But no, the both of you had to say something in an area where you have no right to be saying anything. If you were Moderators of Terran Culture, I could see you having the right to comment on it via PM, but neither of you are, you just wanted to start an argument and prove that you are special or something.

Very mature removing all the posts from the Mage forum. Very mature.

So good luck wherever else you try to seize power and be all important. I hope that you are happy.

Thank you both for continueing to stay. TDSL wouldn't ave been the same without you or any of the active members. Right now in this dire time of inactivity, we need as many people as we can get, and you two are very good rp'ers to boot.
