I will try to break this all down as best I can: By now, it is common knowledge that our Empress has abdicated her title and right as Kroprulu’s ruler. As her successor, I shall be doing as I see fit to best regulate our Empire for the good of all Sith. Over the course of the next several weeks, new systems of rank and training shall be implemented. In the more immediate days, however, I shall be expecting contacts from ranking (that is to say, Masters and higher) members of the Empire. There is no criterion for these messages, I simply wish to interface with you all personally and evaluate a potentially new system of management. I cannot begin to stress enough how important our unity shall be in the coming weeks and months. Help us to usher in a new Empire by cooperating and being vocal in your opinions. Draw in new members and enjoy the benefits your rank has to offer. Those who stand out now shall be in a far more satisfying position later. Again, be prepared for the forthcoming changes and take initiative to contact me. I shall be basing the government around the people and as such, reliable and loyal Sith shall be a highly prized commodity. In light of that, our Darth Embeion shall be joining the High Council as my First Hand. Congratulations and best of luck to him as our newest Dark Lord of the Sith. Next, the new Staff has been put into place. Contact the Moderators of the forum if you are having issues with decorum, etc. Should any matter require an Administrator's notice, contact me (Emperor Shadow) or First Hand Embeion, our third Administrator. In the same spirit as above, now that Darth Matas is leaving his account in favor of a roleplay experience as a Jedi, I am appointing High General Vexen to take his Moderator duties in our roleplay sections. Next, I shall be appointing Sith Masters or higher to chair new subcouncils. The subcouncils include: The Council for Sith Training Affairs and Trials - Regulates Apprentices, approves Master/Apprentice pairings and oversees/approves Trials. The Council for Sith Population Control and Ranks - Approves profiles and maintains the Rank lists. The Council for Lore and Censorship - Keeps track of fan fiction details and roleplays; submits reports to Emperor for canonical value. The Council for Imperial Games and Recreation - Manages roleplays themselves, organizes new storylines and large-group games. These Schools shall be centralized around different philosophies. The first, the School of Betrayal, shall be headed by an individual with unique perspectives into the principles, applications and history of betrayal. The second, the School of Hunger, shall perform a similiar function with the primary focus around Hunger. The third, the School of Pain, likewise operates but with emphasis on Pain. Membership in these Schools shall not be compulsary, but it is greatly encouraged for brotherhood and fellowship of the Sith. Before selecting your School, be certain it is the one for you. There shall be no transferring Schools. The School of Betrayal shall be managed by Lord Seti. Likewise, Hunger is under the care and protection of Dark Lord Angmar. Students shall be learning Pain from Darth Qel'Vos. Congratulations to our Lords of Betrayal, Hunger and Pain. If you have not yet applied to a School, feel free to. The Lords shall begin approving applications at their leisure. ****** Next, I'm pleased to announce my selection of a Grand Vizier. He shall manage a large portion of the government's activities. He shall be my voice and have my ear in all matters. The best way to reach me would be going through him. Commander Acrimonus, the Empire's new Grand Vizier, shall serve with honor and distinction. As for the matter of selecting a Darkest Knight, I am taking a rather different approach. As the Darkest Knight must be a passionate attendant to the Emperor personally, have an unwavering devotion to upholding Imperial law and the strength to do so, I am making this open-call to anyone wishing to become my Darkest Knight. He or she shall have a unique position in the Empire and shall be spared the hierarchy and politics and answer only to me. In the same vein that I am selecting new key positions in the Court, I shall also be appointing two new Order Heads in the coming week. And we'll be doing things a little differently. Darth Divious, Supreme Prophet of the Church, is taking a personal leave of absence wherein he finds his duties may suffer from neglect. As such, he has agreed to remain a Dark Lord of the Sith and subject of the Imperial Court. To success the former Supreme Prophet, please contact me in an attempt to win my favor. Darth Angmar, Grand Inquisitor of the Empire, has recognized personal obstacles that hinder him from fully-reforming the intelligence community. He shall be missed but he shall also retain Dark Lord of the Sith title and privilege as a member of the Court. His successor would do well to contact me if they wish to gain support for a move of succession. The Orders are prized institutions in the Empire. Our largest system of in-character roleplay and a true hallmark of this site, I am seeking only the most dedicated people to succeed these two remarkable Order Heads. While logically placed to take the lead of their respective Orders, High Prophet Praxeum and High Inquisitor Thrax, should not go without challange. [For nay-sayers: My decision was made by the 29th of this month; however, circumstances such as lack of internet strategically limited the spread of this information.] The Empire shall continue to survive if and only if a competent leadership is restored to the highest reaches of influence. This scope must include individuals with both vision, independence, determination, passion and loyalty. Loyalty to the throne, subjects and ideals. As such, selecting our next Grand Inquisitor and Supreme Prophet was a decidedly simple process. I am honored to share with you today the news that Lady Arden shall be reforming the Inquisitors not for her ties to the palace, but for her stirring application. Now, being a corrupt Emperor of a Sith theocracy: it would not be fun if I just gave out the title Supreme Prophet. As a matter of fact, it might have been all the more tasteful if I did not even announce the elevation of Arden to Dark Lady. But since I just did, no use crying over spilled Jawa Juice. Our three candidates for Supreme Prophet should now tremble with fear as I prepare a series of challanges to test both resolve and humility.
