Hello, everyone. There have been abuse issues in the discussion thread and I would like to outline the purpose of the discussion thread and what the Timeline can do for you.
I am a passionate student of history, I love details and literature and if you hand me a developed character, we can work out the best dating system appropriate for your character's life span, etc.
Now, with that being said, some rules (boo! I know):
1.) The Timeline needs your help to be organized and efficent, so please try to space your training and promotions accordingly.
2.) Do not ask us to add something if it affects another character without the expressed permission of the owner of the character.
3.) Avoid posts such as 'Luke Skywalker finished his training.' Why did he finish training? Did he have to do anything special?
The discussion thread:
- A note on the Timeline to avoid some confusion: There is no official year of the Empire. The furtherest we've gotten along ICC is about 74 on the Timeline, but don't feel that's where you need to start or stop. Please be creative, have fun and don't worry about what year your character should be born, etc. You have total power (within reason) to have your character do pretty much anything in any year and we'll work it all out when you ask us to include it in the official account of history, etc.
1.) From now on, please make the dates and events you wish to be included a different color from the rest of your post so they stand out when searching through what seem like endless replies.
2.) The Mods are going to be authoritative and this is your only warning: The discussion thread needs to be about the forum's history and very little else. They will either remove it with a kind Private Message informing you or not even bother to do that since this message is now posted.
3.) No swearing. It doesn't make you see more mature or in-charge, so don't make us meaner than we want to be.
4.) Have fun, please discuss things and enjoy the use of the thread but don't esentially spam it with posts that do nothing to enhance a character or the history in general.
