Background: Zandarian was born on Hapes. His parents were both members of the Hapian government. His mother was an ambassador, his father a commerce minister. At a young age he displayed Force Powers and was sent to the Jedi Temple for training. He had a dark streak however and taunted the other younglings mercilessly. He was reprimanded constantly and many attempts were made to change his behavior. For a time he did well and learned the ways of the Jedi. As a Padawan he grew strong in the Force. His Jedi Master Col-Tau thought the young man had turned around. Then Zandarian got into a fight with another Padawan, killing him. He ran away before he could be arrested and eventually hooked up with a Sith Master named Darth Baal. When Darth Baal was killed, Zandarian came looking to join the Sith.
