Where: Corellia
Weapons: Maximum of 2 blades
Force Powers: No killing powers. No spells.
Jastin
I'm not sure but I think I can accept your challenge.
Darth Thrax
[[Jastin, you are able to participate in any amount of duels but only if the opponent accepts. ]]
Marius Praxeum
[[Since you were the only one to offer, Jastin, I will duel you. I'll start. We'll need a GM.]]
A week or so after coming under the tutelage of his new Master, Darth Linex, Marius was ordered to participate in a duel. Entering the request into the Sith Dojo Database, which connected the many Sith looking for duels with each other, he was informed that Jastin would be on Corellia and was also looking for a duel.
A meeting place was quickly arranged. On the top of a skyscraper in downtown, Marius waited.
Fien'Dur
[Just curious, but would you rather duel me instead? I also have the same requirements before i get promoted.]
High Mage Serratus
[[I shall GM. Fien, the duel has commenced, please do not interrupt it further.]]
Jastin
((Yes I think that would probably be better if you dueled Fien'Dur))
Fien'Dur
[If Serratus and Marius agree.]
Marius Praxeum
[[I agree, and I am pretty sure that who is dueling is not a concern of the GM, so Fien you may reply freely to this.]]
A week or so after coming under the tutelage of his new Master, Darth Linex, Marius was ordered to participate in a duel. Entering the request into the Sith Dojo Database, which connected the many Sith looking for duels with each other, he was informed that Fien would be on Corellia and was also looking for a duel.
A meeting place was quickly arranged. On the top of a skyscraper in downtown, Marius waited.
Fien'Dur
Fien accepted Marius Praxeum's request to a duel, and gathered his belongings and set out to meet with him to begin their duel. Fien decided to use his single hilt lightsaber, with the brilliant golden blade. Fien boarded his ship and flew toward the downtown sky scrapper where Marius had told him to meet.
As Fien flew overhead the building and seen Marius standing there waiting, he slowed and came down for a landing. Fien docked his Porax-38 ship and jumped out, landing nimbly on his feet. He stood there lightsaber in hand ready to ignite, as he made eye contact with Marius, giving him a wicked stare.
Marius Praxeum
"Don't bother. Having survived off of Military Rations, I am not scared by you. And appearing intelligent to your opponent doesn't hurt, even when its not true."
Marius was taller than his opponent, four years younger, and at least a match for physical power, if not greater. His years in the Military had honed his body into a weapon, a physical lightsaber.
His Class 720 Ghtroc Freighter was on the opposite side of the roof from Fien's craft, creating a ring for the battle. Marius was wearing his combat flight suit, a black weave of armored cloth and supplies. Running his hand through his hair, which he had grown out since joining the Sith, he took a breath in and released it after a slight pause.
His right hand drifted down towards his own saber. The black hilt was unadorned by any decorative markings, jewels, and trinkets. It was a soldier's weapon, design for a purpose and serving that purpose. There was no need to intricate engravings or bright colors. Marius bobbed his weapon in his hand, feeling its familiar weight before igniting it. The silver blade jumped from the emitter, a wavering beam of death in front of the former Admiral.
Marius took a standard Shien-Djem So opening stance, a high guard position with the hilt held in a two-handed grip above the user's head, and the blade angled upwards and behind the user.
Fien'Dur
Fien stood there as he watched Marius ignite his blade and take a stance of Djem So. Fien was productive in Makashi, a form he used in all of his battles, for strategic reasons. Fien ignited his golden blade and flourished in a hypnotic pattern. He dashed forward, deciding to make the first move, striking low with a kick, and high with his blade.
Marius Praxeum
[[Makashi doesn't use kicks, but focuses on the precise use of the saber. Small movements for large effect.]]
Marius nimbly jumped around the kick and rolled away from the high strike that was more of a Djem So attack than Makashi, as Fien was known for using.
As he rolled, he slashed a horizontal Shien strike at Fien's lower legs.
Fien'Dur
[I was only making the first strike. That's why i kicked.]
Fien's attacks were dodged, like he knew they would be. Marius struck low with his blades, only to be parried by Fien's blade, and flipped backwards a few meters. Fien know had some distance to cast a bolt of indigo colored force lightning at Marius as he charged toward Fien.
Marius Praxeum
[[Makashi usually starts with a Makashi Salute, followed by a Makashi Flourish. No physical attack.]]
Marius felt the power surge through him, burning, tingling. But he focused on it and began to absorb the energy that Fien was throwing at him. It was one power that Marius knew would be useful and had spent weeks honing his ability to do so.
Using the pent up energy, he Force Pushed Fien over the edge.
[[To note, there are railings to grab and another level beneath to land on. So you don't call it GodModding.]]
Fien'Dur
Fien was thrown back over the edge of the building from the unexpected burst of energy Marius had sent toward him. Fien fell a few stories before grabbing onto a rail and swinging through a window and into an office of some sorts. Fien rolled and jumped to his feet and walked toward the elevator, ignoring the damage he had caused. Fien hated using elevator's, and used it only because he had fallen too far to scale back up.
Fien burst through the door on the roof and decided to change his formation to something more aggressive. He used Ataru formation, a fast paced form, effective on single opponents such as Marius. Fien began sending a flurry of attacks at the waiting human apprentice.
