Acheron's Apprentices

Post here Jaden, for your training to begin.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

I am at your command my Lord.
Darth Acheron

Good. For your first assignment, I want to know a little about you.

Why the Sith? Why not the Jedi? What about the Dark Side attracts you to it?
Royal Guardsman Zeram

I choose the Sith, because the Sith chose me. Long have I lived a life of suffering, no family, no friends, and a slave to the hutts. For all these years, I did not wallow in my misery, I did not cower in the darkness...I fought to live, and I used all my hatred to do it. I was, and still am, a seed of the dark side, and I grow on my hatred, and I feed on others sorrows, and the power....I hunger for more. The dark side promises me greatness, and I trust it, but the dark side won't control me, I shall control it. Though I talk big words my master, I confess the dark sides nature eludes me, and under instruction of you, I wish to understand, and with that knowladge, control it.

You asked me about the Jedi, this I cannot answer. I have heard the name, but I do not know the order as well as I would like to, but I do know of the light side. The light side is exactly what I wish not to feel, its so called "protection" is useless to me, and I have no interest in its lies. Revenge is all that I want my master, and I want you to teach me to extract it in the means of the dark side.
Darth Acheron

Excellent answer.

What of your lightsaber? What type do you use, what colour blade?
Royal Guardsman Zeram

My master, I use a simple sort of lightsaber, commonly used by most people, but unique in its own way. It is a Consul kind of hilt, yet has less of a rusy look to it. Bu tthe outside is not what matters, truly the inside is the amusing factor. It contains a ditatium power cell, and a crimson red adgean crystal, reflecting on the color of the blade. I have certain circuts linked to the adgean crysral, and with the knob on the side of my lightsaber, I can slowly apply heat to the crystal, making the lightsaber blade stronger.
Darth Acheron

Why would a lightsaber blade need to be stronger, if it can already cut through next to everything?
Royal Guardsman Zeram

Well, heat wise master. The blades beam would become brighter and large, making the heat more immense, making fighting against seem more unbearable, it is more tactics wise.
Darth Acheron

A lightsaber blade is already extremely hot, so how would making it even hotter aid you?

the blade would make things emit in fire from farther distances, and I would use it more as a fear effect on an opponent, well, atleast a stupid one.
Darth Acheron

Excellent, good work. Even when challenged on your ideas you hold firm and argue efficiently as to their good use.

For your next assignment, I would like you to write me a small essay on a battle from the Clone Wars of your chosing, no time limit, and be warned, I have zero tolerance for plageurism. Make it, say, 500 words.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

The battle that I have choose my master, is the battle of Felucia, one a true Sith Lord would aspire to. Felucia is world full of odd sorts of organisms. It has unique kinds of plants and animals, which have an odd rubbery look to them. When the sun shines, it reflects upon the environment like glittered multi-colored glass would, a show of uniqueness in the planets interaction with the sun. Though it may sound “pretty”, it is the home to many dangerous creatures that can kill you with pure ease, if not properly equipped. As I have shown, the world of Felucia was dangerous and a living nightmare by itself, but when the war reached there, then it truly became havoc. The 182nd legion of clones arrived on Felucia, un-aware of such a strong presence of droids being there, and the beasts that lived on this hell hole of a world. There had been no contact for about a month, and it was official that the 182nd legion had been killed, but that did not stop the 501st legion to search and possibly replace the 182nd legions mission on Felucia.

Once the 501st had arrived, they were immediately attacked by opposing enemies and creatures of the planet. The most infamous of those creatures were Ackaly, a huge claw like beast that a Jedi, known as Obi-won Kenobi, had fought in the beginning of the Clone Wars. These terrorizing creatures swarmed the troopers, and many died, but they eventually eliminated the ones attacking them. But the race of survival was not over yet, the droids numbers were large, and they seemed to come endlessly. Down driven and in the grips of death, words of hope springs into the troopers as news of General Ayla Secura, a Jedi Knight. Though we as Sith hate the Jedi my lord, at the time, they were the leaders of the clone troopers, and to them, it was inspiring to fight by one. With this hope they fought on, but it would be some time before she arrived.

When the Jedi Knight did arrive, the troopers had managed to survive long enough, and with the swift aid of Ayla and their true inspiration to win, the battle was a success. Now master, much more had happened after this, like the fact that Ayla Secura and two Jedi apprentices were sent to dispatch the commerance guild, by finding their leader, Shu Mai. This was soon interrupted by another reason I choose this certain battle, order 66 was put into use during this mission. Being directed under the Chancellors orders, they had no choice but to follow through with the murder of Ayla Secura. I can only imagine the bitter sweet taste of killing the Jedi Knight who had called them the bravest soldiers she had ever seen, who had saved them from almost certain death, but then betrayed her under our order, the order of the Sith, the true rulers of the republic and the galaxy. In the end, it was not a win for the republic, but a win for the Sith, and a show of where the soldiers loyalties truly lie.
Darth Acheron

Excellent work. Now, I want you to duel a fellow Sith Apprentice.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

As you wish my master, who would you like me to challenge?
Darth Acheron

Anyone you chose, as long as they are an Apprentice.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

Master, no one has replied yet, would you rather me duel you, so you may instruct me as you please, or would you rather have me continue to wait?
Darth Acheron

Hmm, wait a bit longer.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

As you command my Lord.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

((Tomorrow I am leaving to Portland Maine, and shall be gone for 2 weeks. So, sorry that I leave at such a bad time, but you gotta do what yea gotta do. See yea then:D))
Royal Guardsman Zeram

((I'm back. So, what abouit this battle with cat. Do you wish for me to continue?))
Darth Acheron

Its fine if you don't.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

I would like not to master, she has little to no expeirence, I don't think i should be the one who is teaching her how to rp.
Darth Acheron

Agreed, that is for her Master.

You have done well. For your next task, I want you to explain to me your top two preferences of Orders to join, including a detailed "why" as to how they are your top two, and a conclusion of which you would prefer to join. Your choice on length and due date.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

My Lord, there are 4 sub orders within our order, the Sith. Those four orders are, the Courts of the Inquisitorius, the Church of the Dark Side, the Alchemical Laboratory, and the Military. All four of these sub orders have their uses to the Sith, each one unique in their own way. For example, the Church of the Dark Side focuses on seeing visions that could be of use to the Sith order, while on the other hand the Military focuses on helping the order in war. As I said before, all of these sub orders have their differences, but in the end, it all comes down to the teachings of the Sith. But you know as well as I do, that this not about the history of the order, but about me and the orders. After thinking for quite sometime, I cornered down two of the orders that would best be for me. I have chosen to join either the Church of the Dark Side, or the Military, two of the finest factions in the Grand Order of the Sith.

The reason I chose the Church of the Dark Side as one of my options, is because of its uses, and the way it is organized. The ranks are based off how well you may see the future, and if the Prophets find it fit to call a prophecy. Those who join the order are challenged on their knowledge of the dark side, and how they use it. I have always been one open for a challenge, and I have learned to let the dark side guide my sight. The Church of the Dark Side proves that the Jedi are liars and fools, they think it blinds us, but it does the exact opposite. The Church of the Dark Side is the keeper of all truths, that most Sith will never know. It’s the mystery of the faction draws me to join to it, the promise of seeing the future, the promise of holding a power that most would dream of.

Now as a Sith, I wish for war to prove myself in battle. I wish to be able to make my enemies feel excruciating pain, I wish for the last thing they see to be my blade cutting them down. I want the enemy to know fear when they see me, to know that they shall die by my hands. This is why I chose the military as another option; with the military I can feel the thrill of battle, the echo of death, as I cut down my enemies one by one. That’s not all though, with every scream of pain, with every wound I inflict, and with every life I finish, I become stronger. Unlike the Church, the military offers power through death, not through knowledge. Power is much more attainable, and when it is attained, it is an amazing feeling.

In conclusion, those two orders will always have their rightful place in importance to me, but overall, the military sooths my needs. The military has been around for quite sometime, and unlike the prophets, has a steady leader. The military always has room for an officer, unlike the prophets who are weary to accept. The prophets do not give power to their members, none have ever achieved much, and they can’t really go on to something better. There stuck, there is no royal guard for the prophets to join; there’s no fight in them. And if you’re not allowed into the church as an initiate, then you can either be there librarian, or their ‘dark guard’. The job of a prophet sounds miserable, therefore, the thrill of the army calls to me. I have made my choice, after I am Knighted, I shall join the grand army of the Emperor!
Darth Acheron

Most excellent. There seems little more I can teach you. Report to the thread I shall create for your promotion.
Royal Guardsman Zeram

Thank you my master, I am honored.
