I went to Adventure Con this past weekend and it was awesome. It was my first time to experiance anything like this. Anyways I've got a few pictures from there. I got to meet Ray Park, he's a really cool and down to earth guy. Meeting him has really got my wanting to take my MMA training to the next level and try to be half as accomplished as he is. My wife and I actually talked to him for a good while. There were some members of the 501st Southern Outpost there, cool guys too. All in all it was fun even though it wasn't a real big convention. I plan on attending Dragon Con though this Labor day weekend in Atlanta.
Anywho here are the pics for those that would like to see them.
Sorry if they are huge I can't resize them since I'm at work.
Thanks
High Commander Vexen

He's incredibly relaxed and personable - I wasn't able to spend as much time talking to him when I met him.... it was C III and they had him on quite a timetable. However, I got a great keepsake from it - I caught up with him walking down the hall, and got a picture with him, then got a print that night, brought it back the next day and had him sign it, "To Scourge, my brother in the Sith"

That's one con I've never been able to attend, that I'd really like to - my understanding is that it's pretty well one of the most adult-oriented conventions in fandom, and that people get away with a lot more than at other cons.... my kindof weekend

I just saw on Master Replicas blog roll that he played around with the Darth Maul Force FX. Thought it was pretty cool.
