High Defender Adenn

Antary MandorfeThe bright green, six foot, two in tall Kel'Dor was sitting in one of the many chairs in the training rooms, waiting for his first Apprentice to get there. Currently he was late, and Adenn's patience were wearing thin.
Darth Dromeus
Antary walked slowly into the training room. He saw his new master sitting in one of the chairs, an annoyed look on his face. Antary internally smirked, patience must not be a virtue the sith share.
High Defender Adenn
As his apprentice entered the room, Darth Adenn stood to his feet and walked over to his apprentice. "Your late." He said, again using the human dialect. His eyes then noticed what the human was wereing. "Take off the cape, and remove any weapons that you may have on your person." He said as the walked around his Apprentice. He need alot of work, but the Kel'Dor would soon have him looking like a respectable member of the sith empire.
Darth Dromeus
Anary took his cape, tossing it aside. he then proceeded to tug at his throwing blades through the force, so each landed gracefully in his palm. he then placed these on a nearby chair. He then looked at the Kel'Dor and asked "Anything else?"
High Defender Adenn
"Lose the attitude." Adenn said as he stood there with the man. He had noticed that the man had a small knowledge of the force, being able to remove his weapons with a small force trick. "What made you join the Empire? And what service do you wish to join? The priests, the military, the royal gaurd, ect. And why?" He asked as he conitnued to look at the man, his own force pressure pressing on the man.
Darth Dromeus
"Power, knowledge, skill. Something where I can use my skills to the best of my abilities." Antary's voice was like ice. He figured the sith seemed dark enough that he could use his voice in that tone, that and warm wasn't his temperature.
High Defender Adenn
"You didn't answer my other question." He said as he stood there, his bright green skin rippled and his black eyes seemed to peirce into the man's thoughts and soul.
Darth Dromeus
"Didn't I? Surely saying that I wish to join what ever it is I will be best at counts as two answers in itself?"
High Defender Adenn
"It doesn't so do not mistake it again. I want answers seperate for each question and if you continue with assumptions and word play, I will have to remove such thoughts from your mind." He said as he turned his back on the man and started walking twords the middle of the room. "Now answer me, what faction do you plan to join?"
Darth Dromeus
"The Royal Guards. I believe my previous skills and the ones I will acquire can be put to best use for the Empire there."
(OOC: I guess I didn't understand if that was an important question or not, so I answered it as my character would.)
High Defender Adenn
((Its all good, and don't worry, its the way my character is to.))
"The Royal gaurd is an honorable choice. And sense your planning on joining the faction in which I am currently employed, I want you to do some research and give me summary on one of the members of the Royal Guard. This will test your information gathering skills."
Darth Dromeus
Antary had left as soon as his master had finished speaking. Now, he returned with his information. "I've chosen Shadow Protector Tarna. He leads the Royal Guards, and is watchman for the Onderon system. He has trained Doman, Darth Relentless, Chiako, and Darth Splinter and was taught under tutelage (sp?) of Darth Ezan. Many regard her as a great master, and she does well with her students.
High Defender Adenn
"Good answer." He said as he sat in one of the chairs. "But lets see what you can find out about former Shadow Protector Duff." He said as he took a drink of a forien fluid from his home planet.
Darth Dromeus
Again having left at his words, Antary now returned, holding in his mind new information. Former Shadow Protector Duff, was at first the Shadow Protector of the Royal Guards. He originally served as a hand to the Emporer, and trained High Alchemist Seti, Darth Trayer, Darth Lanik, and Darth Malice. He trained under the tutelage of Former High Inquisitor Amor. He has trained successful apprentices, most noticeably High Alchemist Seti."
High Defender Adenn
"He also trained me." He said as he rose to his feet. "And now I want you to construct your own light saber, weather it be duel sabers, double bladed, or just single, and after you are done report back here, and your real training can begin."
Darth Dromeus
Antary bowed his head, then turned around and left, heading for the archives. Upon arriving he would search through the databases, looking up different styles and which forms of combat they best suited. Upon making his choice he spent days on it's construction, as light sabers aren't built in a few hours. Once he had completed it he returned to his master. As he entered the training room a new weapon lay at his side. It was a lightsaber. It's hilt was not straight but curved. I was mainly of a deep, metallic black, save for a thin line of silver that swirled around it from bottom to top. Also on the back of the hilt lay a small silver rose, and on either side at mid hilt lay two gems, the were mainly red, with black lines all throughout the stone. He bowed, and presented his new weapon to his master.
High Defender Adenn
Darth Adenn had noticed that his apprentice had put alot of time and effort and time into his new weapon. As he held it in his hands he looked it over, nodding approvingly, he then turned it on, hearing it crack and hiss as the blade ignited into existance.
"Very good. Now attack me." He said turned it off and handed it back to him. He then took three steps back and stood there, waiting for him attack.
Darth Dromeus
Antary nodded his head and took his opening stance. This consisted of the blade being held at his side, face outward. His leading foot set forward, he slowly advanced on his master, and opened with an overhead strike.
High Defender Adenn
Adenn quickly moved the the right, letting the saber hit the floor. "Why do I sense hesitation in you?" He said as he closed his eyes, letting his sensory organs map out the room.
Darth Dromeus
"Perhaps because to strike down and apparently unarmed man isn't the best of tactics. As one could easily take them in to figure out what they know, and then dispose of them when they are no longer useful. " Antary lunged and when his master dodged he quickly flicked his wrist to the side his master dodged to.
High Defender Adenn
"Your opponent is never without a weapon." He said as he used the force to electorcute the apprentice. "Am I weaponless?" He asked as he ended the lightning. "Never hesitate, it will get you killed. Now stand up." He said as he waited for him to stand.
Darth Dromeus
"A sith is never unarmed, I said apparently. Don't you wish to know what form I wish to study? It should be much more helpful in determining whether or not I do well no?"
High Defender Adenn
"You should have told me already." He said as he looked at his apprentice. "Put your saber away. Show me what you can do with the force." He said as they stood there.
Darth Dromeus
"Well I wish to practice Makashi. And I know little skills of the force. I've never had the privilege of training under one with such knowledge. It is mainly the manipulation of small objects." Behind him, his small blades began to move upwards in the air, and then they began to race towards the Kel'Dor with increasing speed. "I also have practiced some Dun Möch against enemies I have faced. I can jump, and I have choked people into unconsciousness in the past."
High Defender Adenn
As the blades approached him he egnited one of his sabers, letting the blade fly into it, melting them almost instantly. He then pointed to a twelve inch by twelve inch cement cube. "Lift that." He said as he put his saber away.
Darth Dromeus
Antary closed his eyes. If he was to lift that duracrete block, it would take much of what he knew. He slowed his breathing, finding his center. Then he pictured the block slowly lifting into the air. Feeling he had found the right place, he stretched out his arm, and slowly moved his fingers from flat to upright. The duracrete lifted slowly into the air, and finally just sat there floating.
High Defender Adenn
"Good, good. Now that you've accomplished that, lift that." He said pointing to another block, relativley the same size. "Concentrate, and lift it." He said as he used the force to move it across the room, so that it was directly inline with the other, except on the opposite side of his Apprentice.
Darth Dromeus
(OOC: Doesn't that sort of go against what I posted? Because I said it was floating, and then you came and said it really isn't.)

Antary again closed his eyes, concentrating on finding his center. Once he did, he again pictured the block floating in the air. This time the block appeared much clearer, and Antary could feel the force flowing through him. He stretched out his hand, and slowly moved it upwards. The block again moved upwards, and by moving two of his fingers in the right motion, Antary began to spin it. He slowly put it down, and looked back at his master.
High Defender Adenn
"I did not say stop. Continue" The Kel'Dor said as he stood there, two more blocks had appeared, making an x shape around him. "And while your at it, lift a third one of your chioce." He said crossing his arms over his chest.
Darth Dromeus
"Master, forgive me, but how does lifting blocks pertain to training? Should you now be helping me to focus my powers, or learn new ones, or perhaps even educating me on the history of our grand order?"
High Defender Adenn
As he spoke the blocks levitated off of the ground three of which were flung into near by pillers, and the other flying at his apprentice. "Because if you cannot lift simple blcks, then how will you be able to learn anything new?" He asked
Darth Dromeus
Antary saw the block coming, and timed his jump in accordance. it was a graceful back flip, and he he finished it off with a crisp landing. "But to learn to lift multiple blocks only goes so far. Are there not other means to learn mastery of the force? To use your anger and hate, and put it into something more, productive?"
High Defender Adenn
"Yes, but its not just lifting multiple objects. Its learning out to channle the force, focus it, only then will you be able to advance in your teachings, do not question me again." He said, a dark look in his eyes.
Darth Dromeus
Antary bowed his head slightly. His master had told him what he expected he would learn from this exercise. But to keep adding blocks to lift didn't seem to help him learn anything more than when he had figured out how to do it the first few times. Perhaps he was only frustrated because he wished to move onto something else.
High Defender Adenn
"One more test." He said turning to a rather larger black, about five times the size of the others. weighing in at about two x-wing fighters, becuase of the density of the material. "Lift that, for twenty seconds off of the ground, and we will move on." He said, noting the hunger in the student. He knew he wanted to move on, but it takes time to perfect skills as you move up the ranks, and patience will be something his student would learn.
Darth Dromeus
(OOC: Somehow I knew you were going to throw the patience card in there.)
Antary looked at the block. It had to at least weigh as much a fighter ship, perhaps even two. This duty, would require much more strength and effort than any of his other tasks. Again he closed his eyes, and concentrated on the task at hand. He found his center once again, and this time called the force to him. He let is swirl around him, penetrate him from every angle, he let it absorb him, and him it. Once he felt himself ready, he stretched out with the force, examining the block from every angle. Then he raised his hands and aimed them at the block, lifting them upwards ever so slowly. with his mind, he used the force to get under the block, and slowly push upwards. Once it was in the air, (and there wasn't much room between the block and the floor) Antary began to struggle with the weight. his began to shake, and the longer he went, the more violently they became. Finally the twenty seconds were up, and Antary let the block come crashing to the floor. His breathing was heavy, and his face dripped with sweat.
High Defender Adenn
"Good, good." The Green skinned Kel'Dor said as he stood there, his jet black eyes watching the man finish the exorcise."Antary. Can you feel it? Its in the air, its in you, me that block, every thing. The force is a powerful tool. Now that you are more aware of it, channle it. Feel it run threw your arm to your hand. Then release it!" He said standing there, his black robes covering his entire body.
"And while your at it, aim it at me." He said as he moved infront of his apprentice. Seeming to float more than walk, he didn't bounce or look as though he was even moving with his feet, which he wasn't he was levitating him self with the force. He vibrant green skin ripple, as he awaited it apprentice to comply.
Darth Dromeus
"As you wish, my master." Antary channeled all his hate and anger, forcing it through his arm down to his hand, and out of his long thin fingers. It came out as lightning, which was headed straight for his master. Unlike with his lightsaber, this time he did not hesitate to strike, but increased the power with a want to inflict pain, to prove himself.
High Defender Adenn
"Good, Good." He said as he stood there."Your learning to control your anger." He said raising his hand, letting the lighting accumilate into a sphere in his palm. He then let it disapate back into the air. "Good, that is all for force training. Now I wish to work on your saber skills." He said as he removed his black robe, reveiling the Sith Royal Gaurd uniform. He then grabbed both of his sabers and egnited. The familiar cracking sound, and the low tuned humming as he twirld them around. "Lets begin."
Darth Dromeus
Anatry called to his saber through the force, it flying quickly to his hand. As soon as it touched there was a familiar snap-hiss as the blade extended. He bowed his head slightly, then performed a Makashi salute, something he learned from his saber studies. He then held it angled down at his side, and waited for his master to make the first move.
High Defender Adenn
As the apprentice took his stance, the Kel'Dor took the stance of form V and saluted as well. He then moved forward and attacked from the right, his right hand swinging for the mans rib cage. His left hand and saber staying at his body as a defence precaution.
Darth Dromeus
Antary twisted his wrist, parrying his master's blade to the outside. He then proceeded to feint to the inside. When his master swung his left saber, Antary pulled back, made a quick spin, and placed a backhanded overhead strike to his masters' head.
(OOC: this should be interesting, makashi vs. Djem So.)
High Defender Adenn
As the man struck for his head, the Kel'Dor parryed the blade away with his right saber, and stabbed for the man's rib cage, then twisted his entire body to the mans right. As he spun around his right saber came around slashing for the man's back.
Darth Dromeus
Antary dodged the stab, and as his master's blade came at his back he flipped the blade over his back, blocking it. Then, since he had caught the blade near it's base, he pushed it over his head, causing it to come in contact with the Kel'dor's other blade. He then kicked out from the side, hitting his masters thigh. Following that he made a graceful back flip to get out of range, and then stood ready. "Your move."
High Defender Adenn
As the apprentice kicked his thigh, Darth Adenn didn't even flinch. He had used the force to block the kick. "There is a reason I am the master." He said as he moved tword the apprentice, appearing only as a blur. He was using the force to enhance his speed and reaction time. It seemed as though he was using form VII, this however was just an illusion. He was mearly using form V and the force to overwhelm the apprentice. As he came around the back of the apprentice his foot collided with the back of his right knee, and a powerful force push could be felt on the man's back as he was sent sailing through the air twords a wall.
Darth Dromeus
As Antary flew through the air, he pulled his legs in, turning the push into a somersault. He lightly hit the wall with his feet, and bounced off into a light footed landing. He knew a few things about his master's strategy. A) He was using the force to increase his reflexes and movements. B) While his quick movements would seem more characteristic of Form VII, they were clearly just accelerated form V moves. C) His master practitioned jar'kai, which while being a great offensive move, was poor for defense. Thus Antary would need to use the force as his master was doing, and somehow put him on the defensive, where his master would be at a disadvantage. An idea popped into his head, and he decided to go with it. He force pushed the legs our from under his master, and immediately after made a large force jump at him. While his master was on the ground, Antary made small powerful downward strokes aimed at his master's chest.
High Defender Adenn
As the apprentice attacked, Adenn used his right handed saber to block the apprentices strike and then used the force to slide away from the attacker. As he rose to his feet. He then turned off his left handed saber, and shot a rather powerful bolt of lighting twords the Apprentice.
OOC: Edit.
OOC: Edit again.

Darth Dromeus
Antary flicked his wrist, sending his blade to meet the bolt. Once he had absorbed all of it, he slowly advanced on his master, his blade held at the ready. Once he was close enough he feinted left (your right) and then quickly turned his wrist and stabbed for the chest.

As Antary made his attack, Adenn turned on his heels. the saber going threw the robes, parallel to his chest. he then brought his saber up and knocked it away from him. He then turned again, his left hand about two inches away from Antary's chest. He then released another bolt of lightning, not cutting it off this time, but letting it flow continuiously.
Darth Dromeus
Antary was barely able to get his hand up to deflect the lightning into the ceiling. He then somersaulted backwards, coming up a few paces away from his master. 'That was close,' he thought. 'Too close.' "Master, may I propose something?"
High Defender Adenn
"You may." He said as he turned off his saber, and listened to Antary's proposal. He waited for him to finish, as he stood there patiently.
Darth Dromeus
"Makashi users mainly duel in a line forward and backwards. So my proposition is simple. for practice in mastering this form. I ask that we try a little bit of that."
High Defender Adenn
"You wish to train your Makashi? Then so be it." He said as he took the Maskashi stance, and ignited his sabers. He then Saluted and waited for the Apprentice to follow suit.
Darth Dromeus
Antary saluted, then took his starting stance. He began to move forwards, at a steady rate, in a straight line towards his master. When he was close enough, he feinted right, then left, and made a broad sweeping stroke at his master's stomach.
High Defender Adenn
Keeping sabers close to him, Adenn spun around. His sabers parrallel to his body. As he deflected the slash and stepped to the inside of the gaurd of the apprentice adntook a short aimed swing at the sternum of the man.
Darth Dromeus
Antary back stepped out of range and brought his blade up and around, pushing the Kel'dor's attacking blade to the ground. He then disengaged, and spun, his saber appeared to be aiming for his master's head. But when his master brought the saber up to block, he twisted his wrist, and aimed for his master's chest.
High Defender Adenn
As Antary switched his attack to his chest, Adenn quickly brought his other saber and blocked his attack, manuvering the Apprentices saber away from him. He then blasted the Apprentice with a very powerful force push backwards.
Darth Dromeus
Antary flipped backwards, landing on his feet. His master was good, he seemed to reverse every attack Antary made back upon him. He was unsure how to attack, it would have to be something he'd never tried before, and he would only get this chance to use it. However, he was unsure what he could pull off that would get past his master.
(OOC: How long is this duel going to go on? Cause it's been on for quite a while, and I'm running out of tricks so that I might be able to win.)
High Defender Adenn
"Enough." He said as his sabers were replaced under his robes. "Very good Antary. Very good, you will make a fine sith yet." He said as he walked to the center of the room and knelt. "And now for your last act as an Apprentice. Strike me down." He said as he bowed his head.
((Lol, thats the point of being master and Apprentice. Apprentice usually can't beat the master lols. If you know what I mean?))
Darth Dromeus
A smile came to Antary's face. A dark evil twisted smile. To strike someone down, not because he was getting payed for it, but to take out all his built of frustration, his anger and hate, and who better yet than the one who fueled it. He stalked towards his master, the familiar snap-hiss came as his blade extended. Once he got close enough, he swung the blade for his master's head, to deal the killing blow.
High Defender Adenn
As the blade neared his head, he could feel the heat and intensity of the blade as he approached. He then shot up, delivering a intense blot of lightning into the apprentice. "Good, you have completed your training. And as my Master before me. I now show you pain." He said as he increased the intensity of the lightning, letting it flow through the apprentice. And without another word. Stopped and left the room, leaving Antary to collect himself.
