Leia's characterization is totally screwed up. Han is captured by a technological race who wants the New Republic dead and the wookies free him. Lando and Lobot run around for awhile and R2 cusses some. Nothing intergal unless you count the two book reference in NJO.

What references may they be? I read the first when I was younger, and still thought they sucked, lol. I tried reading it again a month or so ago, and gave up, because i got new, better books for Christmas,

The Yevetha are mentioned as being wiped out by the Vong and N'Zoth is a new base of some kind. I am inclinded to say it's during Rebel Stand and Rebel Dream but it could be in Force Heretic.

Ahg yes, it was during Force Heretic, one of my faveourite trilogies in the NJO, as it links so much older stuff, like the Yevetha and the Ssi'rukk.

I liked Heretic... paretly because it was the only trilogy of the NJO. My duology favorite would have to be Rebel Dream and Stand and my overall favorites are Rebirth, Traitor and Destiny's Way... but that changes with only two exceptions every time I write it.

This series is the only one in SW that uses cussing and profanity. It was, in my opinion, the second worse series in the entire SW universe. Children of the Jedi and Planet of Twilight were the worst ever.
This trilogy was just plain horrible and pointless. What was the point of Lando's little adventure? It had nothing at all of value and wasted a third of the series.

In Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Luke swears.
I didn't mind Children of the Jedi...  I just told myself to read it as a non-Star Wars novel and it made it more enjoyable.
I hated Lando and Lobot's part. Why do I need to know they had used the limit of their waste bags? I DON'T CARE!

I did forget that Luke swears in that one. I will now say that this trilogy is the only one with a LOT of profanity.
I do like where Han is beat up. That was awesome. I only wish they had finished the job.

Yeah. It sucked. And Luke's little adventure into the fortress was just stupid.
When Nil Spaar returned to N'Zoth and told the person to walk behind him after he kicked him was slightly cool.
