Not well.
Darth Cruiciatus

okay. I'm kinda good, I guess. I have a rating over 1000.
Isaah
Rating? I play chess... if it's absolutely necessary to have fun... I mean... it's like a last resort for me >.< but I think I'm pretty good... I beat some kid that was the state champ over here...
Darth Cruiciatus
huh, I know a kid that was in 1rst grade and he has a rating ov over 1200. I beat him all the time.
Isaah
well... he's in first grade... kids that age are completely random... they don't know what they're doing...
High Commander Vexen
Ive played before

Blight, this kid played a K-8 division tournament and only lost one game. He got third place.
Isaah
That means nothing to me, I have no idea what that translates to... I do other things... not Chess >.<
I'm just stating a fact... he's in 1st grade... what is that? 8-9 years old? Kids that age are sparadic, random, they do random things at random times, they don't know what they're doing... unless they're taught something like that from birth... but still... he may be able to do that one day, but then have no idea what to do the next...

no, this kid is smart, he's 7. K-8 means that it's a tournament with middle school-age kids. Heck, he beats Adults, High school students, and just about everyone else all the time.

That's fine and Dandy... but I'll stick with my statement of
"Kids that age are sparadic, random, they do random things at random times, they don't know what they're doing... unless they're taught something like that from birth... but still... he may be able to do that one day, but then have no idea what to do the next..."
Simply because it's a proven fact. lol

among most, and if you give him a cookie he gets hyper, but his dad knows what to give him and what not. and his dad doesn't force him, but he wanted to play chess, so his dad started teaching him basics, than really advanced stuff.))

High Commander Vexen

I've beaten tons too I bet I could beat him
Emperor Shadow

Children chess players beat Grand Masters. They are uniquely gifted and I wouldn't boast unless you are in a capacity to prove you can or cannot do something.

I am a child im 13

Emperor Shadow

I mean 4, 5, 6 year olds. They don't have ego, self-doubt or worry to cause them problems while playing.
High Commander Vexen
6 i can understand but no 4 year old can play chess
Isaah
You'd be surprised, as the time rolls by, people continue to reproduce. Selective breeding my friend, Genious plus Genious means you got one Super smart Kid...

Says who? What about child prodigies. Mozart composed a symphony at age 4, why not chess?

I started when I was 6 at 10 I crushed the teacher who was a chess master or at least thats what he said
Darth Cruiciatus
hmmm.... wow. I wish I could play. This kid started at age 4. He's pretty hyper-active, but he stays focused when playing chess.
High Commander Vexen
interesting I would like to play him
Isaah
I'd like to punch him in the face... and watch him cry!
j/k... I'm not that mean, I'd play him in chess... and lose on purpose... just to make him feel like he's the best.
Emperor Shadow
I'd lose anyway.
Darth Cruiciatus
no, he'd know. He knows a billion different strategies. He'd know if you were faking it.
Isaah
ya... I'd still do it
