Arik grew up as the son of a respected Dantooine politician, Aeron Creed. As he better understood his father's dealings, he began to despise him. Arik believed his father was giving too much power to those who didn't deserve it and made irresponsible decisions. He openly admitted to hating his father and turned to illegal drugs and spices. Disgusted with his son's behavior, Aeron disowned his son.

As his life fell apart, Arik joined up with a gang called the Bones. Arik told his story to them and gained support. A plan was made to stop Aeron for good. One quiet night, 6 members of the Bones (Arik included) raided the Creed mansion. Aeron Creed and his wife where brutally killed by Arik, along with several guards and the Creed caretaker. Fearing witnesses, Arik killed the remaining Bones and discovered his Force power in the process. He was discovered by a Sith shortly after and requested to join the Sith Order

If approved I would like to take this one on, with consent. My other apprentice, Hobarth Kivar, is usually always on business trips, and has limited time on the site. I believe with permission I could handle two apprentices, whereas one is usually gone. Of course if this one is apoproved.

No, it's not a requirment, it's normally just common courtesy to do so.

It is also the choice of the Apprentice. We cannot force a Master upon them. If Celestial had stepped down, and Arik decided to wait for more offers, you would still be without an apprentice.
