(Arik, first we will begin with an OOC section I am pretty sure you may be familiar with. I will begin by questioning you on some things such as why you are here and what you wish to accomplish.
Why are you here:
What do you wish to accomplish most of all:
What is your favorite lightsaber form:
Force form:
What order do you wish to join:)
Arik Creed
((Do you want me to answer these from an IC or OOC point of view?))
Major General Celestial
(OOC please.)
Arik Creed
((Yes sir.
Why are you here: In review of all orders and followings within the Star Wars universe, the Sith philosphy is the only teaching that I find actually works. Putting the people in a position to decide their future (i.e. America) only leads to greediness and corruption. An Order that will constantly make the best decision for the people and the government is the only way to solve the problem. The Sith are that Order.
What do you wish to accomplish most of all: The feeling that I have made a difference motivates me. With loyalty and hard-work, I think I can make a difference (OOC and IC) and that is what I want to accomplish.
What is your favorite lightsaber form: I always prefered Juyo. It is a demanding form, but pays off in demanding situations.
Force form: I don't know what this would be referred to as, but I think basic Force powers that can amplify other attacks work best.
What order do you wish to join: My first choice would be Inquisitor, although my mind is still open to other.))
Major General Celestial
(Good, good. Before you begin actual IC training, I need for you to right a 3 paragraph essay on Juyo and the inquisitors, and how they may both be joined together to get a job done. I will not restrict tyou to just three, write as much as you like. This is my test to see what level of IC training you need to be on.)
Arik Creed
((OOC: Juyo/Vaapad was the most physically and mentally demanding of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. Without emotion, the style became useless as it relied on the darkness emotions of anger and intensity to be fully useful. The combat form itself is considered by many to be a tool of the Dark Side, altough it was developed by the Jedi Mace Windu. Juyo was compromised of many powerful blows in quick succession. A true Juyo user made his or her attacks unpredictable, giving the user psychological edge.
The order of the Inquisitorius is a demanding position requiring, much like Juyo, great mental and physical capabilities. The order itself is responsible for the security of the Empire by any means neccesary. An Inquisitor must be ruthless, cunning, and possess superb leadership.
Users of Juyo and Inquisitors both were forced to push themselves to their bodily limits and then some. The physical and mental strength required to master Juyo combined with the cunning of an Inquisitor with the power of the Force could create a superb Sith, but only as long as that individual could last under the pressure. With proper training an the Dark Side as their true master, this Sith could become very great.))
Major General Celestial
Excellent. That is a very good essay. I am impressed. I shall start you as a high medium. I expect long, detailed posts from you, describing what you thought, what you wished, and what you did.)
Relak stood in the dimly lit corridor, perhaps pondering, perhaps meditating. He was hard to read these days, so much was happening. It seemed everything was collapsing, but do not all great empires? He didnt know.
He had been assigned a new apprentice, one he thought would be excellent due to the recommendations and the exam he had already taken to get here.
He gathered his thoughts to which way he would train this young one. Would it be long, short, hard, easy? This bewildered him, he would just have to go along with the apprentices functions.
Arik Creed
Arik Creed made quick strides down the corridor. It was very strange to him. The place itself had a prescence to it, a dark entity. Many things had changed for the young man since applying for the Sith. He didn't know what to expect. He was given very little details about his new master, but Arik was confident in his abilities.
As he rounded the corner, Arik found his master. He could barely make out the omenous being in the little light. How he knew this was Arik's master and not just another stranger was unknown to him. He was called to the man. As he came closer, the feeling of cold breath down his bare back overwhelmed him. Arik knelt before his master, his eyes fixed on the man's waist. "Master, I am Arik Creed." Arik's voice echoed through the otherwise empty corridor. Strange feelings pulsed through his mind. What have I gotten myself into?
Major General Celestial
"I believe I know who you are. You are my apprentice, are you not? In your application it says you wish to be in the inquisitorious. A very hard order to choose."
He glanced around at the apprentice, turning his head in a slow motion. He stood up."Arise, Creed. There is no need to show me respect as of yet. I want you to show me a little glimpse of your force powers, levitate the glass ball on my desk."
Arik Creed
The apprentice turned his head to see the ball. While not yet skilled in the Force, Arik believed he could lift it. Outstretching his hand toward the ball, he put all focus into it. It trembled before slowly rising nearly 6 inches into the air. Higher it went. Reaching about a meter in the air before Arik turned his attention to his master, lowering the ball back into place.
His master seemed to be studying his movements of even something as trivial as this. Arik gave him a little nod. His thoughts went to the application his master had mentioned and the difficulty of becoming an Inquisitor. Arik always welcomed a challenge and this was no different.
Major General Celestial
"Enough."
he looked at the apprentice with remorse. Although the apprentice was not yet skilled in the force, he was sure he would get there. "My name is darth Celestial, and you have won the honor of sith teachings. You may call me Relak."
He moved swiftly to the middle of the chamber. It seemed as if he was floating off the ground as he walked, but it was nt true, because he made militarial strides, with a rough-hardy look."Show me what you have got. I am also very skilled in Vaapaad, as it is my main form also. So come at me."
He made four circular motions with the double-bladed red lightsaber. Bringing it to his waist and then held it with both hands, in front of him, ready to strike.
Arik Creed
Arik pulled out his lightsaber. The cherry red glow shed little light in the room. He was slightly better at lightsaber combat. His father had taught him the basics of fencing when he was a boy. Holding the blade before him, he slowly moved towards Relak. He had drowned out the hum of the lightsabers. His focus was on victory. Analyzing the situation, he created a strategy for fighting somebody with a dual-blade lightsaber. He would stay on the defensive, reviewing his master's style and try to create an opening.
It was all alien to Arik. Never had he had a lightsaber duel, let alone against a Sith Master. Twirling the blade in his hands, he made a quick underhand strike at his master.
Major General Celestial
Relak blocked the attack, all for it was simple. He still had his blade connected to his apprentices, which he motioned to the left of his body. He twirled off his opponent and sent a kick to him.
How would the apprentice respond, would he just take it. Dodge? Anyuthing? It was hard to tell, but it was a slow, powerful kick.
Arik Creed
((OOC: Sorry for the brief absence. My computer was introduced to the wonderful world of Spyware.))
With only a split second to react, Arik went with his instinct. With the aid of a quick kick to the hard floor, he jumped back about 4 feet and nearly tumbled down. His footing was off when he landed and Arik understood a mistake like that could be deadly. Quicly as his master was putting his foot back the the ground, the apprentice struck with a hard overhead strike.
Major General Celestial
Relak quickly blocked the attack by holding his saber above his head. He pushed the saber off with the force and jumped back. He de-ignited his lightsaber as soon as he landed. "Good. I will try to set you up on a duel. But in the meantime, while I find and opponent, write a two-hundred word essay on Grand Inquisitor Prognie and High Inquisitor Gratua and their accomplishments. I wish to see alot of things from their bios. Now, get started while I go find an opponent."
Relak turned and exited the room. He found the apprenitce scouraging for paper as he left.
Arik Creed
((OOC: I am truly sorry for the delay. Between school and such, I've been swamped.))
Arik quickly scrambled through drawers looking for paper and a writing utensil, finally finding some on the desk. He knew little about the two Inquisitors other than what he had read through in the archives. After several scratchouts and rewrites, he had an essay.
The Grand Inquisitor, Lord Prognie was born on Mon Calamari into the prestigious Chelchu family. A hunger for order and justice has launched the Sith Lord into supreme power. With a wide range of abilities, there is no surprise that Lord Prognie has been so successful within the Order of Inquisitorious. He had the best education as a child and as a Sith and possesses untold knowledge. His intimidating appearance yet persuasive mind has led the Sith Lord to well earned acsension within the Eternal Empire’s ranks.
Throwing High Inquisitor Gra’tua into the mix only strengthens things. The Nautolan Sith Master was driven by a hatred for the Jedi after the death of his family, a drive that has not yet ceased. Darth Gra’tua is a silent warrior with a passion for peace that led him to the position of High Inquisitor.
Combined, the two have led the Order of the Inquisitorious, and in turn the Empire, into a new era of peace and order. The balance of knowledge and power has kept the two strong in the Dark Side of the Force. Under the pair’s guidance over the Empire, the Galaxy will remain safe and the Empire shall remain strong.
He knew it wasn't his best work, but it likely would be good enough to please his master. With the essay done, he turned his attention to his next assignment. Relak had gone in search of an opponent for Arik and judging by his performance against his master, he needed work. Placing the essay on the table, he pulled out his saber and practiced his footwork.
Major General Celestial
Celestial bustled in, with intentions to go as fast as he could."I have found you an opponent, and we must not keep Suspiria waiting. We must go to the dueling chambers."
Relak looked on the desk to see a paper with what looked like wet ink on it. He walked over there and reached for the paper. He began reading it carefully."Very good, you have passed this exam. Yet we must go to the chamber of dueling."
