Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Crozeus vs Prognie

(I'll need someone to offer to watch over this but I am going to set the tone. Anything goes Crozeus. Wink )

Prognie sat in front of a waterfall, a rock placed conveniently inches in front of the water's base. The blind man was not unaware of his surroundings, every life that crawled, breathed, or existed touched his mind in some way and he touched theirs. The wind gently caressed his cheek, a tingle in the force shattered his silent surrounding.

While Prognie was fully aware of what was coming, he did not move or blink or acknowledge that it his presence had betrayed him in anyway. Like an angry God, Prognie began to assert his presence upon the life in his surrounding areas, they each whispered back to him what he suspected. The dark lord's presence intensified in the force, the pool of the waterfall began to grow angrily, small waves crashing against the edge. Like and angry God, he simply waited, every step calculated in his every advantage anticipating any and all possibilities that could happen. The crushing sound of the waterfall began to seem more distant in his mind as he concentrated slightly upon his visitor.
Lord Aequitas

((I'll do it, but I trust you both know what you're doing.))
High Prophet Crozeus

There was always an uncomfortableness when Crozeus was in the company of the Grand Inquisitor, and that had been many times. It was not necessarily the man's dark motives, or even his sheer power which reeked of the Dark Side and made others stir with unease like they did when Emperor Shadow was near... or not and he was simply angry, Crozeus reflected with a small grin. Other Sith reacted in similar ways to when Praxeum or Divious were nearby, through considering they all spent most of their time in the same building Crozeus had gotten used to the presences that had seemed, at first, overwhelming. Oddly, he had never really noticed it with Shadow Protector Tarna, and he had barely met Lady Ducki, Arden or Dark Lord Acrimonus.

Another reason which made Crozeus uncomfortable was Prognie's blindness. Having been brought up from a very wealthy background Crozeus never really dealt with the disabled and he often felt useless, not knowing how to react at certain points. Perhaps that would be an asset in their duel, or whatever it was they were here to do. Then again, Prognie wouldn't be one of the most powerful men in the galaxy if he couldn't wield a saber, or fight with the Force.

Crozeus realised he had never seen either the Grand Inquisitor's blade or him fighting at all. An interesting experience it would sure to be. Keeping rudimentary politeness and decorum, Crozeus simply stood there, knowing that the Grand Inquisitor knew he was there and would act when ready.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Prognie hadn't opened his eyes, not that it would make any difference but his senses did not betray him. "You have arrived Prophet Crozeus," the water was still bubbling around Prognie. Standing up swiftly, the dark lord forced a breeze toward Crozeus, the force caused ripples in the water that licked the edges of the pool.

"This planet is said to be abandoned, but I'd beg to differ." reaching out again through the force, Prognie touched each life gently with his mind before sucking it back into him, denying them his presence. "The lives here, yearn for presence,  one that I enjoy denying as I please. Like an angry God." Prognie smirked, the water around him had began to pop like boiling liquid.

"And like the  angry God I am, Prophet, you too shall be denied." Prognie had not given the man any time to think when the water before him erupted into two pillars that Prognie brought down upon the unsuspecting prophet.
High Prophet Crozeus

Sith Cyromancy. The art of manipulating water and the air, particularly in the form of ice. Crozeus had researched and developed his Sorcery to master Cyromancy as well, so the casting of basic Spells in it was second nature to him. He had already cloaked himself in the Force - it was like a prerequisite when about to enter combat, and he pushed this cloak upwards, combining it with a simple freezing Spell.

Instantly, the water froze, the huge pillars turning into beautiful, glistening crystalline statues glittering in the sun. Crozeus held them in the Force for one moment before shattering them into billions of tiny icicles which rained on the two Sith like hail. When this rather impressive display was over Crozeus looked straight at the Grand Inquisitor.

"And what, Lord Prognie, is it that I am being denied?"
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Prognie smirked; Crozeus had picked up an interesting skill, an interesting skill that Prognie would have to find himself. Prognied paced on the flat rock he had been sitting on, Crozeus was an interesting Prophet and he would enjoy whatever challenge he would attempt to bring. "Prophet, A God does not reveal his secrets." Like lightning, the dark lord closed the gap between himself and Crozeus, as he reached the land he grabbed water from the large pool and brought it forward like a wave upon Crozeus. Anticipating his response, the water was frozen and Prognie quickly turned on his heel, palm stretched forward revealing a blue jet of electrical currents shooting toward the frozen water. Bursting through the ice, Crozeus had already moved away using the force to guide the lightning away.

The inquisitor understood that he could not give his opponent one moment to go on the offensive, no, he controlled the fight. Gathering his energies again, Prognie released a large bolt of lightning at Crozeus who once again avoided the current. Prognie's lightning struck at the trunk of a thin tree, the burst of the lightning forced it through the entire tree snapping it off. Taking advantage of the change of terrain, Prognie grabbed the broken pieces of the tree, the exposed tips of the bottom moved toward the back of Crozeus's head at a quickening speed.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus knew that the Grand Inquisitor was always hungry for more power. He had no idea how his Spell would have appeared to the Miraluka, but from the interested pulse that sprang from him after his spell had been cast was impossible to mis-interpret. Crozeus knew the Dark Lord was far superior to him in the Force, but he did not know the Sorcery that Crozeus did. And Crozeus applied this knowledge to the rapidly advancing tree.

He manipulated the air itself, around the tree, sending it looping round him like an object would cannon around a planet. It then flew towards Prognie. Crozeus had to take the initiative, for it was only for so long he could hold against Prognie's attacks. He advanced behind the tree, speeding himself up with the Force, and just before the tree would make contact he cast a small Geomancer's Spell, which jerked the ground like a mini earthquake. Just as he cast it he jumped to avoid toppling himself. He then ignited his lightsaber to try and follow up his attack with close combat - the only thing he thought he might have a chance against Prognie in.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

The Dark Lord was unamused, as the tree pieces had returned in his direction, Prognie lifted his arms which then created a barricade that the pieces shattered into from the force and velocity. But the Prophet underestimated the dark lord, with reflexes more finely tuned, Prognie brought his shield down but reached for the water and like a fist, brought it against Crozeus' body with a force he could not counter.

The Prophet had gone on the offensive but it was time for Prognie to shift it in his favor. Leaping straight into the forest, the dark lord jumped onto the nearest branches, circling around where crozeus had fallen. A darkness began to creep around engulfing the area they were in, a darkness Prognie was accustomed to since his birth. Shrinking his presence in the force to be so small that the prophet could not sense, he moved in on him like an inquisitor would:  through the shadows. From his spot a burst of lightning shot toward the Prophet who had recovered quickly to absorb the lightning, but Prognie was a predator. Jumping out from the opposite side from where he had attacked originally, the dark lord was surrounded with five blades all twirling around him, as the Prophet reacted, two blades had left their formation to keep the Prophet back on the defensive.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus had been buffetted by the Dark Lord's assault, and finally regaining his compusure he saw his opponent advancing with five lightsabers, two of which flew forward and attacked him. How interesting, that the Prophet should share the same combat style to the Inqusitor. Batting the two lightsabers, Crozeus threw his aside where it hovered. With the speed and ease that comes from years of practising, he threw his short lightsaber and his two wrist mounted sabers into the air as well. He ignited his double bladed saber and used it to continue to fend off the two lightsabers.

When he had a moment, he outstretched his arm and pointed his fingers as one would if one was to use Force Lightning. However it was not lightning but fire that sprang from his fingertips - less deadly, but nearly impossible to block. The firey blast expanded as it charged forth, making it harder to dodge as well. Sith Pyromancy. Yet another form of Sorcery.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

When Crozeus flipped to the offensive, all that remained were Prognie's two blades but the dark lord had merged back into the shadows that had now engulfed the forest. The fire spread out though, catching several trees, the familiar orange glow climbed to the tips of the ancients, slowly spreading from tree to tree.

The dark lord pushed his presence outward to expand throughout the forest, into every atom before him. Prognie then released images of himself, he wanted to throw the Prophet off of what he was truly doing. The images of himself darted through out of the darkness, came close to the prophet and then escaped back into the shadows. He was testing the Prophet, each image came close to the Prophet but did not touch him, each image posing in a new stance to attack but never made the full move. Finally Prognie, the real one, leapt from the shadows with one single blade lit, similar to the previous images, and came in for a killing blow near Crozeus' torso.
High Prophet Crozeus

A simple trick, and one that Crozeus himself had used many times. While the many Prognies darted in and back from him, he was slowly gathering his energy and when he detected the minuscule pause - barely a millisecond, but always there nevertheless when one's shadows fell behind one's true self, he exploded the Force outwards in a wave of several thousand Newtons of force.

The shadows of the Prognies vanished, unable to withstand their apparent corporeal form under such pressure. The true one, of course resisting the immense wave, was however slowed enough to allow Crozeus to bring his own saber up to parry the blow to his chest. While he was doing that the saber that hovered nearest to him flew into his hand and the Prophet slashed, while holding Prognie's blade, to the Grand Inquisitor's stomach.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Prognie's blade was held but Crozeus was hoping to take the kill shot from an exposed area, but the dark lord was never defenseless. He heard the humming of the Prophet's second blade down below, the force trickled with warning and instinctively Prognie held his open palm to the blade, before it could cut through his hand, he released an exertion of force that knocked the blade back.

Crozeus had grown smarter, his instincts were catching up to him because he soon released a wave of energy that knocked Prognie back. It was a well understood attack, Prognie would have taken advantage of the success of his move and the Prophet would have been too exposed. He created distance so he could take the proper offensive, and he did, Prognie saw Crozeus coming at him with a flurry of blows, such attunement to the force taught Crozeus how to rely on its ability to tell him what was happening as it happened.

The downfall of the sith was that the force was a crutch, they relied on it to tell them when to do things and forgot that their natural senses were capable of so much more. The trees crackled as they popped beneath the fire that engulfed them, Prognie lured Crozeus deeper into the forest, the shadows he formed creeping slowly behind them. Prognie allowed slips, he wanted Crozeus to continue on the offensive, he knew he was using the force to predict Prognie's motives so the Dark Lord clouded his mind. And like the mind of the Prophet, he clouded the entire area in darkness again. This was a thicker darkness, it covered all surrounding area in a heavy blanket.

Prognie then expanded himself throughout the force so he could be felt everywhere once again, then in an instant his entire being disappeared. The only light was the dim glow of Crozeus' blades, but it was not enough to penetrate the darkness. Prognie let out a laugh, it echoed around the Prophet, leaving him unable to find himself. Because Prognie was cutting himself off from the force, he wasn't able to feel for where Crozeus was at, but that's where he left his senses. There was a small rustle of leaves from where Crozeus walked, Prognie moved in swiftly and quietly with a strike.

Blocked.

The Prophet was still in tune with the force, Prognie melded back into the darkness, a skill his group had mastered. Prognie found Crozeus again, he whispered from behind the Prophet "Find me" before the darkness consumed him once again.
High Prophet Crozeus

"Find me," the voice that was embedded in his head whispered. Crozeus looked around, probing the forest with the Force, but Prognie was everywhere... and no where. So Crozeus decided to use the one thing he had over Prognie in the Force... again. Once again he manipulated the air, though this time it was around him, and under him. Using the Force he moved the air around him until he hovered in mid air several feet above the tree line. He wobbled, uncertain - it was an incredible feeling and one Crozeus had never gotten used to.

Then he started blasting fire into the forest, creating a ring of burning death in the area around where he had been. He would draw Prognie out, or Prognie would be burnt to a cinder.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Prognie laughed as the Prophet expanded his fire all around, the dark lord touched the force again as fire began to expand outward toward him. With the force, he grabbed the fire and wrapped it in the force and hurled it back at Crozeus like a fiery boulder. The ball of fire landed right where Crozeus had just been, but the prophet had jumped back but was caught in the explosion that came after, a small trick he had himself. While Crozeus was still gaining composure, Prognie went back to the offensive and had no intention of changing back.

Releasing the force outward toward Crozeus he knocked him through the forest with the force, his knockbacks were like walls crashing into the Prophet with no stop to their attacks. All of Prognie's blades returned, the inquisitor went onto the melee offensive by closing the distance and began to strike relentlessly. Crozeus was easily defending the attacks, he had even scored licks on Prognie, but the dark lord thrived on it and was pleased to let him do so just to keep him going.

Crozeus touched edge of the forest near the same waterfall they started, when he did Prognie launched himself toward the rocks, landing carefully on a rock that stuck out near the waterfall. Prognie gathered water into a large ball, from his palms shot lightning at the ball that engulfed it before finally thrown quickly at Crozeus.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus had recovered from his landing just in time to see the electrocuted ball flying towards him. He flung his hands out and halted the ball mere inches from his body. Chest heaving from the exertion the Prophet became locked in a battle of the mind with one far superior to himself. However he was not prepared to give up, not yet. As the ball moved slowly, centimeter by centimeter towards him, Crozeus reached out and disturbed the rock upon which Prognie was perched.

The rock became dislodged from its bed in the earth and began to tip towards the pool, with Prognie still on top of it. At last the Dark Lord had to focus his attention on getting off the rock, enabling Crozeus to seize control of the ball and send it flying right back at the Grand Inquisitor.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

The dark lord didn't miss a beat, the rock moved beneath him and reactively he jumped off the rock to the next available one. Unfortunately he temporarily lost control of the ball he had created which gave Crozeus the moment he needed to launch it back at Prognie. Inside Prognie was smiling, he waved his arm as he flew from rock to rock which released a wave of energy that smacked into the ball. The force of Prognie's push caused the ball of water to explode back toward Crozeus, the water that was covered in Prognie's electricity spilled toward th Prophet.

He knew Crozeus was avoiding but he wouldn't give him a moment to recover, Prognie grabbed the rocks around him and ripped them from their holdings where he launched them like bullets at their target. Because Prognie was a master of the force, he had an advantage Crozeus would not gain quite yet, Prognie was able to concentrate on multiple tasks at once allowing him to do many things at once.

Prognie then seized the waters around him and pulled them up like a giant wave, dropped it on Crozeus and all the surrounding areas he would run. Gathering the force inside him, Prognie launched himself up into the sky, his lightsaber now in hand and dropped down like a meteor his impact with the ground shaking the earth around him and sending ripples outward.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus could not even hope to deal with the barrage of assaults coming through defense with the Force, so he decided to use offense as the best form of defense. Speeding himself up with the Force he pelted straight at where Prognie was to land, skin still burning from the electrocuted water, moving too fast for the cumbersome rocks to hit him. Just before Prognie came down, Crozeus jumped to avoid the shockwave, and brought his own saber up and copied Prognie's move - although the Dark Lord was still recovering from his attack.

Behind Crozeus, the wave crashed, turning the ground into a muddy quagmire in seconds, but Prognie had made sure the wave would not affect him any more than just water lapping his ankles so Crozeus was safe from most of it.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Crozeus' slam caught Prognie's defenses while down, unfortunately the slam wasn't as destructive as Prognie's due to the quickness of the attack. The dark lord was thrown back into a puddle, both slams had altered the earth around them, water had begun to flood the surrounding area as the shores that held the pool back had altered completely. The Prophet recovered first, bolts of lighnting were flung at Prognie whose quick response was grabbing the nearby water and bringing it in front of him to shield him from the attack. The stream of water exploded with the collision but Prognie had avoided the burst of it, small droplets of water touched his exposed hands burning his flesh.

"You've been trained well Crozeus, but I think it's time that I show you what I've mastered." Prognie then braced himself upon the ground and lifted his arms in the air, around him trees were being ripped from the ground into the air. Roots and dirt were hanging from the trees, Prognie then released a bolt of lightning at each of the trees, the wood instantly lighting on fire from the hit. Prognie flung the large burning projectiles at Crozeus followed by his fists then slamming into the muddy ground releasing new waves toward the Prophet.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus had to get away from the wave, or he would be sent to the floor and crushed by the burning rain of trees. Summoning as much energy as he could without collapsing, like trying to take a very deep breath at the top of a tall mountain, he sheathed himself in the Force to try and prevent himself from being burned. Then he jumped.

Moving with incredible speed and, for the most part, luck, Crozeus jumped onto the trees, being seared by their heat, as they came down to earth at him. He kept going, eventually getting enough energy to... commandeer one, as such. Floating on top of his tree platform, almost dead on his feet at the exertion, he looked down at Prognie, who now stood before a misshapen forest of burned tree carcasses.

Crozeus needed something to keep him going. The heat burned in his lungs, even though he had extinguished the flames licking at his own tree. He focused on Prognie and desperately attempted to break through the Dark Lord's defenses to siphon off energy to himself. A last ditch effort before he fell.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

A huge pool of water emerged from beneath Crozeus and caught him, engulfing him as it dragged him back into the pool of water saving him from a fall but forcing him under water. Prognie could tell Crozeus grew tired, he was using so much power trying to keep up with Prognie and the dark lord was simply unscathed besides the attacks he let Crozeus hit him with. Prognie relished on the pain but Prognie had also become very familiar with the ability to drain energy from others, as a matter of fact he had mastered taking energy from all organisms around him. The force fed into the living things and those living things fed the force, as such Prognie fed on both. Each flower, bug, tree, or creature slowly gave up its own life to feed Prognie, slowly. With such a large clearing, Prognie was absorbing tons of energy allowing him to keep going while Crozeus was beginning to weaken.

Prognie walked to the edge of the pool, a smirk laid on his face as he stared deeply into the pool and saw crozeus finally float back up. With a sway of his wrist, the water washed him back onto the shore. Prognie squated beside him, looking at the Prophet closely, examining him. "Breathe" he side lightly. He placed his hands on the prophet's face, he was exhausted. When the prophet finally took in a large breath and released, Prognie tightened his own grip on the prophet's face and began to drain whatever last remaining bit of energy the man had. "Like a God, i shall deny you."
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus knew that many Dark Lords have mastered Death Field so much they can keep it on at all times - just like Prognie. Crozeus struggled, but try as he might he could not break free, and every time he tried he got weaker and weaker. However, that frustrated him. His frustration led him to anger. His anger gave him strength.

With a roar he gathered the Force to him and repulsed it outwards, sending Prognie, trees and other bits and pieces scattered around. He gasped, unable to stand. Yet the temporary boost of the Dark Side was still raging through his veins and he cast his own Death Field - one of the last things he had been taught by Darth Celestial.

He applied as much power as he could, draining all the lifeforms in a decent area of all life. Refreshed somewhat, he stood and faced Prognie who had already recovered and was looking right at him. Crozeus went back en garde.

"I don't believe in God," he said.
