Bio:

Born on the planet of Naboo, Vradikus Ika often observed his mother, Luniya Jotel, training with her Jedi Master, Cil-Tyvel, and became fascinated by the Force and lightsaber combat. In his obsession to become a Jedi, Ika followed his mother to the Jedi Praxeum at fourteen, but was discovered.

Ika was brought before the highest respected Jedi of the Praxeum, including Luke Skywalker. Cil-Tyvel claimed that Ika should join the Praxeum, but the teenager was rejected for being '
too young and inexperienced'

Enraged at his denial, Ika swore vengeance on the Praxeum. Then a short while later, Ika stumbled upon Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Ivratos. Ivratos, feeling Ika's hatred, and decided to take him on as his Sith apprentice.

Ika was trained by Ivratos in the ways of the Sith extensively, and when the time was right, revealed who he was - the Dark Lord of the Sith. However, Ika had become attached to the Dark Side of the Force, that he did not flee or attempt to attack his master. Instead, Ika remained loyal, and wished to continue his training.

As the ultimate test, Ika was sent to Mustafar to survive for a week (long test, eh?). In returning, Ivratos discovered Ika to be alive still, yet weakened. Looking around, Ivratos saw the dead bodies of some of the inhabitants, and was greatly pleased. It was then that Ika was rechristened Darth Animus, Dark Lord of the Sith by Ivratos.

Animus went on several missions. His first was to kill a corrupt senator of Binquaros, who had recently betrayed Ivratos to the Jedi. After two encounters with some Binquaran muggers, Animus dealt with the senator swiftly, who also possessed a lightsaber and had trained in the ways of the Jedi before leaving for politics.

Shortly after this, Animus had an encounter with Jedi Master, Srimas Tikri, who claimed him and Ivratos to be under arrest. Suddenly brandishing his lightsaber, Animus engaged the Jedi in a duel, which soon ended when Animus forced Tikri onto a pair of 'robotic arms' which covered the Jedi in minutes.

The Sith Lord offered Tikri the chance to escape from having his neck snapped by joining him as an apprentice. At first Tikri refused, but eventually accepted as the arms began to close in. Ivratos believed that Tikri would become his second apprentice (at this time, the recreated Rule of Two began to be broken several times). But, Animus intended for Tikri to become his own apprentice.

As training for Tikri (now known as Darth Erokus), the new Sith Lord had to fight Animus in a duel several times, who won every time (Erokus was only mildly harmed). Unbeknown to Ivratos, Animus secretly began training Erokus, helping develop his lightsaber skills. When Erokus went to Iridonia with Ivratos for a mission, Animus planned to overthrow his master and claim complete control over the Reborn Sith Order.

Then, on a mission to Aridus, Animus and Erokus were sent to investigate a small rebellion against Ivratos. Leading Erokus to the location of the rebellion, Animus began to slaughter all but one rebel, who was interrogated by Animus, and who failed to provide useful information. As Animus then went in to dispose of the rebel, he was stopped by a redeemed Srimas Tikri. Having seen the deaths of the rebellion, and the cruel interrogation of the rebel, Tikri began to snap out of the Dark Side's firm grasp.

A fight ensued, and as Animus and Tikri fought furiously for the second time, Animus revealed he never intended for Tikri to remain his apprentice and had planned to have him killed anyway. The two continued to duel, but Animus proved to be more than a match when he severed Tikri's dominant leg and arm, before impaling the redeemed Jedi in the head. Satisfied, Animus killed the last rebel and fled the barren planet.

Returning to Mustafar, Animus was assigned the task of helping Ivratos' Mercenaries against the Jedi Praxeum, led by Nargric Tys, in the Third Battle of Naboo. Animus obliged, and took his personal ship to his homeworld and the scene of the battle.

Quote:
He stepped onto the battlefield, a maniac corrupted by the Dark Side.

        - Nargric Tys, recalling Darth Animus during the battle.

Animus began to decrease the numbers of the Jedi, using his lightsaber form of Shii-Cho to obliterate the Praxeum's forces. More than 150 were slaughtered in moments, most of them suffering from limb loss before their demise. But, as the Dark Lord fought on, someone familiar stepped towards him - Luniya Jotel.

After accusing his mother of betrayal, Animus' hatred grew beyond any other Sith Lord before him. Then, the duel began, and the sounds of their lightsabers were the loudest things on the battlefield. After several minutes of offensive and defensive maneuvers, Animus force jumped onto a nearby ledge, Luniya following close behind.

During a brief saber-lock with his mother, Animus noticed the Jedi advancing on the Mercenaries and realised that Luniya was merely a distraction, so that the Praxeum could focus on Ivratos' forces. Anger building up even further, Animus leapt again - onto the pad next to a fan shaft. Deliberately acting weak, Animus made Luniya believe she had overwhelmed him, but proved her wrong when he stabbed her in the belly.

Animus observed as his mother, in pain and shock, tumbled into the fan shaft, and be ripped apart by the blades of the fan. With Luniya out of the way, Animus re-entered the battle below. Eventually, after recognising defeat, Tys and the Jedi retreated, ending the battle. Ivratos' forces had won, but Animus was left with the image of Luniya's ultimate demise.

The Sith Lord's next mission was to kill a talented young Jedi, known as Mai-Th Washr. Setting course for the Core Planet, Aaeton, Animus looked forward to destroying another valuable member of the Jedi Praxeum. Cornering Washr in a northern Aaeton building, Animus was questioned on who he was, before launching himself off the balcony at the Jedi Master.

Washr was not given a chance to attack Animus, because of the frequent movements of the Sith Lord, but was very much able to parry and maneuver the blows. However, it became more difficult for Washr to attack or parry when Animus forced him into a small room, where he could not do his Ataru form as well.

Finding it harder to defend himself from Animus, Washr decided it was time to flee the room. As Animus slashed in an arc that would have sliced the Jedi in half, Washr burst through the ceiling and landed in a bigger room. An enraged Animus soon followed and the duel continued. This time, Washr began to overpower Animus and had no worry about changing the 'arena'. But, if he had, he would have only received minor bruises. Sweeping in, Washr didn't notice the red lightsaber heading towards his face.

Washr was now in extreme agony after Animus removed his left eye, giving the Sith Lord a chance to finish him off. But, instead of killing Washr, Animus taunted him because of his injury and beckoned him to use his anger to defeat him, but was surprised when Washr asked why he killed his mentor who turned out to be Luniya Jotel.

Claiming her death was required because she was his mother, Animus didn't see Washr force pushing him, it was so quick. Crashing through a window, Animus began to fall down a fan shaft similar to the one that Luniya met her end. Washr did not want to watch and walked away, grasping his eyeless socket in pain. But, Animus used the force to escape through a gap in the shaft, allowing him to flee Aaeton in humility.

At some point in 123 ABY, Animus killed Ivratos, becoming Dark Lord of the Sith (Leader of the Reborn Sith Order). With his new role, Animus travelled to Coruscant to find an apprentice. Searching far and wide, Animus failed to find the right apprentice, but just befor he abandoned hope, Animus discovered the Jedi Knight Eiphas Delris.

Apparently, Delris had argued with his Master, Sti-Lu Karka, about becoming a proper Jedi Master. When Karka refused, Delris left Yavin IV to Coruscant, his Homeworld. After having his mind corrupted by Animus, Delris succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force. With an apprentice, Animus departed for the once again abandoned planet of Mustafar to train Delris.

But, it seemed that someone had beaten them there, and Delris was shocked when he saw it was his old master, Sti-Lu Karka. After a few harsh words, Delris and Karka duelled with eachother, while Animus watched in the wings, thinking up a new plan.

Whoever won, he would make his apprentice, even if it meant influencing Karka should he win. But, in the end, Delris proved to be the winner. Battling over the molten pits, Karka tried to force kick Delris off the balcony and into the pits, which would kill him. However, Delris sensed this, and slashed Karka on the back. The impact forced Karka forward, and off the balcony. Animus and Delris observed the Jedi Master toppling into the lava, and dying.

Impressed, Animus decided to rechristen Delris as Darth Competent, Dark Lord of the Sith. Now with everything together, Animus and Competent set off to get revenge on Mai-Th Washr. Locating the Jedi on Ruul, the Sith Lords prepared for the final confrontation. Startling the Jedi in an old Slave building, Animus and Competent revealed themselves, which made Washr shocked and sickened.

Competent, as Delris, had been Washr's friend training under Luniya Jotel until Delris became Padawan to Sti-Lu Karka. Washr, understanding the betrayal, prepared to fight his former friend. Animus was pleased to see Competent and Washr duel. After a few minutes, Competent forced a briefly stunned Washr up some steps and into the Selling Room. But, because it was a large room, Washr could easily perform his Ataru, which Competent hadn't counted on.

Overwhelmed, Competent was forced to escape the room. Seeing doors at the other end, Competent rolled towards them and into the next room, Washr close behind. Once again evenly matched, Competent and Washr began parrying and attacking again. Eventually weakened, Washr waited for the fatal blow, but was surprised when he heard the sound of a body hitting the floor - Competent's.

It seemed as though Animus had killed his own apprentice, claiming he wished to rule the Galaxy on his own, with no one to get in his way. He also wanted to have Competent weaken Washr, so Animus could finish the Jedi off himself. With the answers clear, the final duel commenced.

Duelling in the same room that Competent died within, Animus and Washr fought fiercely. Washr had indeed been weakened by Competent, but was managing to hold his own against the Sith Lord. Finally, the duel moved on, but in Washr's favour. Spinning round for an attack, Animus was kicked down some steps leading to the Slave Room. The Sith Lord was briefly stunned, but when Washr launched off to stab him with his lightsaber, Animus rolled sideways, causing the Jedi Master to crash into the cold floor.

Animus led Washr to a balcony overlooking the large Entrance Hall. Animus flipped and landed in the Entrance Hall below. Washr followed again. After more fighting, Animus forced Washr into a wall, and began to mock the Jedi. When Washr tried to get up, he was shocked with Force Lightning. Animus began to laugh loudly, but was cut short when he felt something pierce his chest. Looking down, he saw Washr with his lightsaber ignited through the Sith Lord's heart.

Very good

   - Animus' last words

Smiling, Animus muttered two last words, before collapsing on the cold floor...dead.

Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Very long and detailed bio, very nice. Smile
Sovereign Defender Tarna

Titles such as Darth, Sith Lord, and Dark Lord of the Sith are ones that you must earn over the course of time.  It's a very nice story, but in order for you to receive formal training you should write a different story where your character has few powers and little experience.
Darth Malice

There are other profiles on this site which reach far into the future. Ones that reveal deaths and other not-yet-revealed fates IC. Now the member's name is not allowed, that's for sure.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

Self-proclaimed titles are no problem. If he wants to say he's darth whatever then that's fine. But he doesn't receive that title in our Empire until he's earned it.
Emperor Shadow

All partially correct points.

Pre-written characters generally don't mesh with our systems. We prefer fresh character development.

We will need to change your name to remove the Darth, which is an earned distinction. Do you have a preference?
Darth Animus

I have no complaint against any of your comments, but I forgot to put in that he is not a Self-Proclaimed Sith Lord. His Master bestowed the name upon him after his mission on Mustafar.

This Sith Lord may have some downsides, but I think he deserves the right to be recognised a worthy one.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Sith Lord is high on the rank list and takes long to obtain. Yes your profile is detailed and nice, but you still must earn your way to that title.
Supreme Commander Alor

And also, the profile should be posted in the Profile Approval Thread to be accepted. Then a thread should be created to gain a Master to be trained.

All of which is done in the Office of Citizenship.

Though nice work on the bio...
Emperor Shadow

Strictly OOC, your Master doesn't exist.

We require training and activity to earn such titles.
Major General Celestial

Perhaps an rp would be in order. After approved, you could detail how he thought you a sith lord in his/her eyes.
Darth Animus

There seems to be some question on the 'Darth' title. Let me get this out the way.

1 - Should this title be 'removed', the character would cease to exist.
2 - This title was created for my character LLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG before I joined this site. There is a longer character biography on my computer.
3 - This character died, and therefore cannot be part of the Empire. I added his name straight to this thread because there was no need to approve a deceased Sith Lord. I must also add that I put this thread on here to simply show one of my more favourite created Sith Lords.

I will add another, LIVING Sith Lord soon, if I am allowed. Then, you will be able to add him to the Empire, should he deem satisfying
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

That would be great, but you will not be granted the title of Sith Lord. You must start as an apprentice like anyone else who joined this site before you. It does not matter if these characters were created long before you joined this site, it has to do with your characters existing in this Empire, not any before it. So in turn they are starting fresh, they must prove to us that they are worthy of the title Lord. Until then you will start as an apprentice.
High Prophet Crozeus

But if you create this new character under your current username, it will still need to be changed.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie

I have PM'd him with some possible alternatives he can do with his character and the story.
Emperor Shadow

Thanks Mario. Hopefully this can be resolved. If you want to use this as an NPC, Animus, then glory. However, there can be no previously granted titles, as they simply don't exist in our canon.
