High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Darth Gra'tua vs Darth Crozeus

Darth Gra'tua had landed on his home world, within his home city. He had exited his personal star ship and made his way to the sanctuary. It was a long peninsula that led into the middle of a pool that was surrounded by a cliff, making the area kind of like a bowl. From the cliffs five water falls fell into the pool, and flowed into small irrigation canals to water the various gardens through the town.

The High Inquisitor stood at the end of the peninsula his cloak off and his sabers in hand, waiting for his opponent.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus had never been to Glee Anselm before, and he marveled at it as he flew through the atmosphere in the Masar's Revenge looking for the beacon of Force energy he could feel that could only be one person.

The High Inquisitor.

Crozeus had never even seen the Inquisitors in battle before, he had arrived too late to see Gra'tua destroy the new apprentice, Maven. As Dark Warrior, he was working on mastering all seven Forms, and was almost there. His new lightsaber was pressed firmly at his belt and a second was also on his person. It was a shame he couldn't bring the other three with him.

He knew Gra'tua fought with two sabers in the style of Jar'Kai, an aggresive form. Therefore, Crozeus had to put him on the defensive, which meant he couldn't use his most familiar form of Shii-Cho. He soon located his foe on a beautiful peninsular, and set his ship down nearby.

He leaped out from the cockpit and walked over to the High Inquisitor, shrugging off his robe in the process, limbering himself up, drawing on the Force. He greeted his foe with a nod.

"High Inquisitor."

((Note the spelling of my name Wink))
High Mage Serratus

((If it pleases the combatants, I will GM.))
High Prophet Crozeus

((Sure.))
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

The High Inquisitor, upon site of his opponent, ignited his sabers with that cracking hiss that was so familiar. He bowed to respect his opponent, a custom he had taken special care to practice every time entering a duel. As he lifted his his out of the bow he looked into the prophets eyes. "Prophet Crozeus." He then waited for the same respects to be shown.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus smiled. Powerful, and polite. He lowered himself into a bow, taking care to mimick the High Inquisitor's movements. The Dark Warrior straightned up and performed one last stretch before igniting his blade, the gold-tinged ruby blade lighting up his face.

He saluted formally and brought the blade low, slightly up, quivering, like a snake poised to strike. He nodded slightly, and indication for Gra'tua to make the first move.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

At the Prophets nod, the High Inquisitor ran forward as if to strike with his sabers, but at the last moment he flung his left hand forward, sending a powerful force push at Crozeus. He was attempting to knock the Prophet back into the water, trying to disorient him. He kept his right hand poised, ready for defense at the Prophets actions.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus allowed the push to send him flying, turning the momentum in mid air and performing a full back-flip. He landed on the edge overlooking the pool, and determined not to let the High Inquisitor take him so easily.

In a second his blade was up and he lunged, the saber arcing diagonally upwards to Gra'tua's left underarm.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

The Nautolan spun, throwing his right saber to block the strike attempt and came around with a low round house, aiming for Crozeus's stomach. He kept it low to maintain his center of balance. Perhaps this would contact the prophet and finally send him into the pool.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus pivoted aside and grabbed hold of the extended leg, backing away from the edge as he did so. He pushed the two sabers away and slashed quickly to the struggling leg he held.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

As the leg was caught and his sabers pushed away, his bent the only leg he had left and pushed himself towards the water, using the force to pull himself and the prophet in. The leg was still hit, causing some excrutiating pain and some quick muscle spasms, but the deed was done.

As they fell, the grip on his leg loosened and he propelled himself away. He turned in the water gracefully with his sabers in hand. This was his element and now the entire duel had changed.

A wicked smiled appeared on his face as he swam forward with speed and made a pass at the prophet, attempting a slice at his side as he passed.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus took a deep breath and dived, swimming under the hissing blade which evaporated the water it was in. Crozeus cursed bubbles as the Nautolan gracefully wheeled about in the water and turned back. Crozeus was a strong swimmer, but by no standards could he match an amphibian.

Remembering something he learnt in the Church, he opened his mouth and let out a Force Scream, more powerful than the one that had crippled Suspiria in his last duel. Accentuated by the water, the sonic beams pulsed through the water. Crozeus immedietly swam towards the cliff.
High Prophet Crozeus

((Bump?))
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

As the pulses came at him, amplified by the water, Gra'tua quickly placed a force bubble around him to mute the sound, but he had not done it quite quick enough. As the bubble formed, the Nautolan felt as though his head was being ripped in two. This only went on for a second or two, but it was almost enough to stop the bubble. Once the noise had died Gra'tua had dropped the shield and cloaked himself, not only in the force but his physical form as well.

As he hid himself he climbed from the water onto the peninsula. As he stood on the land mass he raised his hands and summoned a powerful force lightning, using the pain he had recieved from the bellow to fuel it's power. Instantly the water became a bright blue as the electrical current rushed through it. Almost instantly fish and other native sea life started to rise to the top of the lake. As this happened he unlcoaked his physical form and waited. His left hand already pulling a saber.
High Prophet Crozeus

Fortunately, Crozeus had already gotten out of the water while Gra'tua was distracted by his attack. He was now sneaking up to him, his presence masked, and moved silently until he was back on the peninsular. He then swept his leg out to try and trip the High Inquisitor over, simultaneously cutting down with his blade.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Gra'tua had seen the shadow of his opponent and quickly threw his igniting blade up to catch the saber of Crozeus. As the Prophets leg came around in a sweep, Gra'tua's right fell as a saber flew into it and ignited, putting the spinning leg in the path of a indigo beam.

[[I was going to say I grabbed your leg with my right hand and threw you back, but it seemed a little god-moddish]]
High Prophet Crozeus

((Fair enough. Probably would have been better than the situation I'm in now though lol))

Crozeus dropped to the floor, sliding his legs together. Since the High Inquisitor wasn't stable either Crozeus took his chance to get away, propelling himself with the Force across the ground. When he was a safe distance away, Crozeus loosed Force Lightning at his foe, having gotten up relatively unharmed.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Gra'tua let a smile fall upon his face as the lightning was shot at him. He had regained his balance and thrust a saber out to catch the volley. "Your skills have improved I see."

As Gra'tua said this, a copy of the High Inquisitor stepped from behind him and then another and another, until it seemed as though Crozeus was circled. "However, I believe it is time for this to end." At the last part each of the copies drew a different type of weapon. One being a set of paralyzing darts, a few drew blasters, some drew knives and grenades. Gra'tua however placed a barrier around them all, he didn't want the prophet to escape.

As Gra'tua stood outside this barrier, the few with grenades hurdled them in and a few more lunged forward throwing and stabbing at Crozeus with the paralyzing needles and darts. The rest stood back waiting for an opening to attack with their blades.

As Gra'tua performed this, he also attempted a dreamweaver on the Prophet, forcing into his mind a black abyss where nothing was visible. The High Inquisitor was creating an entire reality and forcing it into the mind of the Prophet, leaving him blind to this attack.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus simply smiled as all his blades sprang from their various clasps and encircled him.

"You think you can hope to defeat me with Spells, High Inquisitor? I wrote the book on Spells."

He countered them in the best way possible, blocking his mind with a wall of emotions, and using the Force to find which copy was the real one, and locking onto him. The copies could not harm him, and it was only weakening Gra'tua to keep them running. He then determined it was best to break the barrier through Force energy, which would also send away the copies. Keeping them busy with his blades which hovered, he gathered his energy and used a Force Repulse, sending copies flying through the air and shattering the Force barrier. He then advanced, his blades next to him, poised at the Nautolan. Crozeus simply saluted.
