Darth Vader TrilogyThe Darth Vader trilogy includes: Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno, Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno. It tell the story starting off at the events before Revenge of the Sith, and after bringing Anakin's whole experience of turning to a Sith a great trilogy. I recomend all three books.

Yay! I have all of those, and I've read them. Vader rules!!! My favorite of the three is Dark Lord, that one's my favorite Star Wars book ever.

Of LoE and RotS, I like RotS, because it ruled! LoE was still good, but I preferred RotS. I haven't read Dark Lord yet though.

LOE wasn't bad, but I got a little lost towards the middle, lol. Because sometimes if it gets to a boring part, I just kinda read, but my brain isn't taking in any of the words, so when I try to think about what I just read, I just hear little crickets, lol.

Yeah, same, and like in NJO, where I actually skipped whole chapters, just because they involved the Vong talking about random stuff .
Saber
Whoah, lol.

I know, I just wanted to finish the series as fast as possible. But yeah, with LoE and others, I sometimes skip paragraphs unintenionally, or glaze over words, and I have to go back and re-read whole chapters sometimes.

Saber

Yeah, like I daydream while I'm reading sometimes then once I finish the chapter I go hmm..that was interesting..what happened again? So, then I ahve to reread it, grr.

Darth Acheron

lol.

Yeah, that somes times happen to me, but if Im focused in the story, and theres alot of action, I get into it.
Saber
Yeah same, like in Dark Lord, I didn't drift off once I don't think, lol.

Heh, I hope they make more. But at the moment im reading almost all Timothy Zahn books. Im almost finished with Last Command and my mom just ordered Out Bound Flight so im pumped up on his writing, lol.

The only one I've read is ROTS. I read the whole thing in an entire afternoon

Yah, Matthew Stover is a great writer. One of the most best writers in my opinion. Hes up there with Timothy Zahn.
Darth Acheron
Hes only written two good books. I don'ty like Traitor, caus "real time" stories are really dodgy to me. But Shatterpoint and ROTS were really good. I like Luceno, Zahn, Allston (My Faveourite!) and Traviss the best though.

Yeah, hes written only two good books and got a hardcover on his ROTS one. Pretty impressive to me. For most Starwars authors it takes them to make a few good books to have a hardcover one. Just like Zahn with his new one Out Bound Flight.
Darth Acheron

Well, Dark Force Rising, his first one, was originally hard cover.
Anakin
Really? Oh I didn't know that.

I've read Dark Lord, AWESOME. I'm currently reading Labrynth of Evil, then i will move onto Ep III book.
Darth Acheron
Yeah, Dark Force Rising was originally a Hard Cover, as it was kinda special. Hand of Thrawn: Spectres of the Past was also hardcover, and I'm not sure about Visions of the Future.
Emperor Shadow
All three were hardcovers, I have originals in fact... they're quite pretty.
Darth Acheron
And Survivor's Quest was Hard Cover, so, in fact,m all of Zahn's books were originally hrad cover.
Emperor Shadow
Wow... I hadn't stopped to think about that, but I guess you are right. I wonder how many other EU writers with a novel can say that.
Darth Acheron
Maybe Zahn just has special status, as the one who revived the EU, so all his books are Hard Cover?
Lord Legacy
booksi just finished those books wow so good, Vader is one of the greatest characters of all time
