DragonForce is one of my fav. bands
but one thing that ticks me off is how nobody liked them, said they sucks and crap like that, then guitar hero III comes out, and BAM!!! its awesome and everyone thinks its cool now cus its on guitar hero
but yeah, great band, great music (but doesn't seem to go with Oblivion, despite the lyrics) and my fav. song by them would have to be My Spirit Will Go On

I was listening to them rarely and then stopped it after GH3. Their instrumental talents are high I cannot deny it but their music is very emotionless, I would prefer listening to 20 year old Mario Bros soundtracks

Oh, Dragonforce. Must resist, must resist, might make it... screw it.
Dragonforce suck. It's studio editing, and besides that, it sounds like crap anyways. Honestly, it's the same freaking song!!!!!! How you don't see that is beyond me. Also, amazing technical abilities don't count for jack of all squat if there's no musicality in it. Joey Ramone despised solos, but he is a way better guitar player than Herman Li or Sam Totman. And if you want to hear technical playing, look up: JAson Becker, Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, Vinnie Moore, and others.
IF you want to see mad guitar skills in a genre you would never expect, look up Albert Lee. Easily as fast as Dragonforce, yet there's still musicality.
Another guy to check out would be Alvin Lee. The fastest guy at Woodstock.
Anyway, I digress. Dragonforce sucks, the end.

Thank you. You are right about the ego. I somehow forgot to mention his funny accent.
I've listened to some of his music that has emotion. Not all, but some. Jason Becker though. He has ALS and can only move his eyes, yet he STILL composes music(very good music i should add)
