Emperor Shadow
Duel InvitationI would like to duel someone. This thread is to post offers/offer commentary of the duel itself. The specific location and terms of the duel shall be decided in private and later posted by me in public when I open the duel thread itself.
Extend, if you are willing, an offer.
High Prophet Crozeus
You could hold this in the middle of Kuat so everyone could come IC and watch you fight. I would offer, but I wouldn't stand a chance.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum
The Supreme Prophet would love to offer. I believe that all of our characters past together would add ample amounts of locations and chances for them to duel. Either back when Stap is a Sith Apprentice and wants to learn more, is within the Church and Shadow knows he needs more training, more current with events everyone knows, or rather something in Praxeum and Shadow's biography that has yet to be created.
Emperor Shadow
I was figuring we could host it with current ranks and cirumstances.
Supreme Commander Alor
I am up for a duel. Perhaps tag team? Shadow, Praxeum, Marix, [One other guy] duel as teams?
High Mage Serratus
I'm willing to volunteer as Marix's teammate, though I will most likely be creamed on an epic level.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum
Though I love the tag team idea and it is Shadow's pick, I would prefer a one-on-one battle with the Emperor, should he accept.
High Prophet Crozeus
How about Shadow, Marix, Prognie, Praxeum and Tarna against the rest of us?
Lord Aequitas
I hope you mean Order Heads...lol
High Prophet Crozeus
I really should've just said that shouldn't I? Lol. We get you! One Lord! Woo!
Lord Aequitas
I'm not duelling. Perhaps I will GM.
However, it is Shadow's decision.
Supreme Commander Alor
We can have another duel for the Order Heads [plus Emperor] versus all...
High Prophet Crozeus
Sounds good. Another idea - Shadow plus the Royal Guard vs the rest.
Emperor Shadow
We're no longer talking duels, we're talking battles.
Right now, I accept the offer of the Supreme Prophet. I will discuss details with him shortly and a duel shall commence at our leisures.
Meanwhile, feel free to gather and plot some kind of battle simulation if you wish.

High Mage Serratus

With pleasure:
Second Battle of Tatooine:
Imperialists;
Emperor Shadow
Shadow Protector Tarna
High Protector Adenn
The Royal Guard
Jungaists;
Supreme Commander Marix
High Commander Vexen
The Sith Imperial Armed Forces
Martialists;
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
The Inquisitorius
Theocracists;
Supreme Prophet Praxeum
The Church of the Dark Side
Monarchists;
Lady Ducki
Lord Angmar
Moff Defense Fleets
Scenario (non-canon):
After twenty years of civil war between the Imperialists, the survivors of the Empire, Jungaists, the rebel Military who wanted to impose a miltary junga, the Martialists, a group supporting a rule of martial law and the Monarchists, who want to establish a monarchy led by a king and queen, a final battle has been written in the stars. Much of their forces decimated, the last remnants of the Eternal Sith Empire gather in the Tatooine desert for a final stand off.
To the North, in the Cracked Ridges, are the Imperialists.
To the South, in the Shattered Ruins, are the Jungaists.
To the East, in the Stone Dunes, are the Martialists.
To the West, in the Barren Plains, are the Theocracists.
In the Centre, in the Central Sands, are the Monarchists.
This battle is no longer about galactic dominance. No matter who is the victor, everybody is a loser. This is about vengeance and honour. There will be no Sith Order once this battle is over. This is a fight to the death.
Lord Aequitas
I would consider myself an Imperialist..
High Prophet Crozeus
I like it. I think it should just be our Orders, as I think Ducki, Angmar and Acrimonus (whom you left out) would side with Shadow.
Lord Aequitas
Angmar is in the Military, actually.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
I would offer for a future duel but I can say that I don't need to make that offer for that to happen.
High Prophet Crozeus
Get in some practise!
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
I do like the idea of the order heads having a free for all on one another.
High Prophet Crozeus
^ 1111 ^
It would be great to watch. Though I betcha Marix'll bring an SSD and ruin it.
Lord Aequitas
No, Shadow will take control.
High Prophet Crozeus
If it was just the Order Heads. Shadow could be watching in a box, Gladiator style.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

Uh, didn't you play the Force Unleashed? There are plenty of ways to defeat an SD. Plus, that was only one apprentice. Imagine what all of the Order Heads could do.
High Prophet Crozeus
Picture this:
Tarna could barely keep the frenzied attacks of Prognie at bay while using his second blade to defend against the assault by Praxeum. They battled constantly, neither Lord able to take control.
Supreme Commander Marix eyed the three Order Heads through a probe. He set the co-ordinates and the entire second fleet pulverized the location, obliterating the Dark Lords. Marix did a little dance.
The End.
Now that's what I call god-modding.
Lord Aequitas
You forgot the bit that Lord Aequitas threw Pie as he is a member of the most secret Council of Pie.
But yeah, I'd be referree.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum
Or: All three Dark Lords sensed the nearing ship, turned to face it. Waved each of their hands, and the ship, all those on board, Marix, and even the guy that designed the ship on Kuat all died horrible deaths.
Lord Aequitas
I like the latter.
High Prophet Crozeus
In Force Unleashed, the ISD is in the area, and only deploys one wing of TIEs at a time. Imagine the whole 2nd fleet, in orbit, with all their TIEs as well.
But I like the guy on Kuat randomly dying, so I'm all for it
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Imagine all those spies i would have on those ships that would sabotage your attack. booom! The sky would be a pretty red with blood and fire.
High Prophet Crozeus
And bits of falling SSD.
Eeek! Run!
Supreme Commander Alor
He did say the entire Second Fleet, not just one ship. So the Dark Lords might have a little trouble. As for your spies, let them try. I have purged ships of their filth, so the Dark Lords would die with me! muhahahahahahahaha
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Marix, they aren't spies because they're easy to find. They blend in like every other military personnel. You would never know they were against you until they were shoving a blade through the back of your seat. Always be weary of those around you, you never know if the Inquisitors are watching you.
Supreme Commander Alor
*cough*The Force*cough* Deceit is an easy trait to find in the mind. It would only take one ship, perhaps a Venator, to be cleared of spies. I could sit in my Battle Meditation Sphere and search all of their minds, finding those who were linked to the Inquisitors, and purging my ships of such filth.
Then again, it also only takes a few turbolaser batteries. Surely your spies aren't in every gun on every ship in my fleet. An Executor alone has 1,590 gunners and an Imperial SD has 575. So 1,590 + (575*100) = 59,090 gunners, and that is not counting the Guardians, Venators, Venator IIs, Imperial II's, Valiants, Keldabes, and other ships gunners. Lot of agents... Lot of money...
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
it takes only a couple well placed explosives to knock out your ship. I don't need to disable every individual, that's a waste of time though i do appreciate your thinking in the box. It makes my life easier.
Supreme Commander Alor
Still that is a whole lot of ships. And sneaking explosives onboard would be difficult. They'd need clearance and "sneaky" skills. During General Quarters, security is tighter than normal. And if I am firing upon the Dark Lords, General Quarters would be warranted.
I was only posting inside the box to make you think I only think inside the box, to confuse you. Then when you try to destroy my ships, I'd have already had a smaller craft hidden on the other side of the planet that would sneak into the atmosphere and vaporize the Dark Lords dueling.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
I then point you to Praxeum's plan.
Supreme Commander Alor
Even three Dark Lords could not defeat the might of the Imperial Fleet from that far away. Perhaps if they were on the ship or very close to the ship, but in the upper atmosphere, they could not touch it. The atmospheric conditions would hinder their powers, as well as accounting for gravity in their "blast". Whereas the turbo-lasers have computers to do all that for them. The gunner says, "I wanna hit here" or "I wanna hit this." and the computer calculates...

Ah, you and your lego star ships. We'll continue to let you play with them.
"Oh, He's growing up so fast!"
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
The jedi apprentices on the Yavin Praxeum managed to throw Daala's fleet back giving them a chance to wait for the New Republic fleet. Imagine what four of the most powerful sith in the galaxy could accomplish?
Supreme Commander Alor
And how many ships did Daala have? 4? 10? We are talking 100 ISD's alone, nevermind the rest of the fleet. The ratios just don't fit. They might be able to do something to 3/4 the fleet, but all it takes are a few TIE fighters with lasers and torpedoes...
Lord Aequitas
My money is still on the 3 Dark Lords.
High Prophet Crozeus
Are we betting now?
Supreme Commander Alor
Exactly what amount of money are you planning on losing?
High Prophet Crozeus
THREE HUNDRED BILLION CREDITS.
Lord Aequitas
I'm pretty wealthy and once the Dark Lord destroys your fleet, I'll be even wealthier.
Supreme Commander Alor
Right there you lose! Muhahahaha. I am the Supreme Commander, all of the fleets are mine! So the Dark Lords will be hard pressed to destroy all 23 of them!! muhahahahahahaha~
Lord Aequitas
I always thought the fleets were the Emperors and you are just a..Commander of all of them..a Supreme Commander.
High Prophet Crozeus
Yeah, if the Emperor told you not to and you did, that's... treason? Or mutiny?
Lord Aequitas
I'd come up with something lol
But, back on topic, I would dearly love to see a battle of the Order Heads with Shadow.
Supreme Commander Alor
That is true. But when it boils down to the basic level, the more Military experienced officer truly owns the Fleets. While President George Bush "owns" the American Fleets, he merely says go here and the CINCUSNAV [Commander In Chief United States Navy] is really the one who gives the orders and decides where to go, when to go, and how to get there.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Military = loyal to shadow
truefax look them up
Supreme Commander Alor
Military == Loyal to Intelligent and Experienced Commander.
Marix == Intelligent and Experienced Commander && Loyal to Shadow
Lord Aequitas
No, the Military should be loyal to the Emperor, not it's Supreme Commander. Supreme Commanders can come and go much more often than the Emperors/Empresses.
Supreme Commander Alor
I never said that what was true should be or should not be what happens. Merely what exists.
Soldiers do not trust those who are not trained in combat and strategy. Especially politicians, who deal with a soldier's life like it is worth less than 1 Imperial Credit.
High Prophet Crozeus
That's a very long acronym.
And agreeing with Aequitas - Order Head FFA would be amazing.
Supreme Commander Alor
| Prophet Crozeus wrote: | That's a very long acronym.

They get longer, too. When they start getting more specific.
CINCSUBLANTFLT
Commander In Chief of Submarine Warfare of the Alantic Fleet of the United States Navy.
High Prophet Crozeus
Now that's just silly. Why not have
COSAT
Commander of Submarines, Atlantic ?
Supreme Commander Alor
Because, Commander is a rank, whereas Commander In Chief is a job [except for the President where it is a rank that comes with his job].
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Marix, people are loyal to the Emperor because he is a provider. The military supports a man who gives to them. You are simply an extension of his will as an Order head. You go where he tells you. I would say out of all the Order Heads you have the least amount of freedom because the military does as the Emperor wants. In the end the Emperor's word is final on all your military doing. Whereas the Church, Inquisitors, and Guard all do different things with less control from the emperor. So I would say the military is just as loyal to the Emperor as the Royal guards are but with the sacrifice of freedom.
High Prophet Crozeus
First post = Wow.
Lord Aequitas
You can always count on Will to write brilliantly.
High Prophet Crozeus
If nothing else...
No, that's not true
Emperor Shadow
Go ahead and say it.
High Prophet Crozeus
I would never do such a thing!
Emperor Shadow
Well, I'll have you executed for not saying it.
High Prophet Crozeus
There isn't anything you can't do either
Emperor Shadow
That's the definition of an emperor.
High Prophet Crozeus
True, true.
It's nice to see you role-play, every time I thought you might (throne room) it sort've fizzled out. I've often seen old posts of yours and was like... wow...
Emperor Shadow
They're driven by two or more people. If people wanted to post in the Throne Room, it's open.
I'm glad I have time to roleplay. I'm extremely busy today but I felt compelled to start the duel.
High Prophet Crozeus
Just got that craving...
Emperor Shadow
I needed something quick to write between class assignments.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
I expect this much the next time you're in a duel.
Sovereign Defender Tarna
Sorry I missed this topic until now, but I have an idea.
There's this great scene in "Fury", where Luke and the entire Jedi Council have this big free-for-all while planning the Ambush on Caedus. I think we should do something similar. Perhaps the High Council having a free-for-all?
Supreme Commander Alor
No fair! I wanna participate...!
Sovereign Defender Tarna
Fine, you as well. And Lord Aequitas too.
Darth Ultiria

I read that! It was so cool I could just imagine them all fighting.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Well, Dark Lords vs Sith Lords would be interesting, we could cream them.
Or Prognie vs. everyone! That would be even more fun but probably really unfair for you guys.
Supreme Commander Alor
Yes, Marix has a deep sense of honor and it would crush him on the inside to let you be defeated as such.
So he'd help you...
Lord Aequitas
Well, there's me and Marix..and I'd probably want to kill Marix before I try and kill you guys so that wouldn't work...lol j/k
Supreme Commander Alor
Insubordination! Treason! You shall be hanged for your seditious thoughts!!
Lord Aequitas
Ok then...
Emperor Shadow
What happened?

Darth Cruiciatus

Dude, messing with an inquisitor is like messing with Kyle Katarn. You just don't do that.
Supreme Commander Alor
Katarn was a weak Jedi...
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
Unfortunately the Inquisitors are not weak.
Lord Aequitas
Yay for Will's writing.
Emperor Shadow
Hah. I didn't do anything.
Lord Aequitas
No, but you have amazing writing skills.
Emperor Shadow
Hah. Thanks.
Lord Aequitas
Welcome..
High Prophet Crozeus
Wow...
Add a full stop after "skull" in the first paragraph and it becomes OMG WOW!
Emperor Shadow
Hah. Thanks!
Lord Aequitas
I would have pointed it out, but I felt that there was no need. He left out a good few full stops in the LoES.
Emperor Shadow
Wait, what?! I'm missing something about stops.
Lord Aequitas
Yes, in LoES, you left out some punctuation marks, capital letters etc. Not much, maybe once or twice.
High Prophet Crozeus
Yeah, but I figured someone pointed them out in the 152 page discussion for it... lol
Emperor Shadow
Well, I also wrote that as an amatuer production, didn't have my professional editor. Haha.
Lord Aequitas
Of course.
