I also like Sidious, in all his political maneuverings, and Mace Windu, I mean, hes the only one who has actually stood a chance of defeating Sidious, besides Vader, who only killed Sidious through surprise.

Sidious was amazing, he was a true idol of Sithedom.

Yeah, it's all in Vector Prime. I was shocked when he died, but the rest of the deaths came as welcome shocks.

I never really liked Chewie. To me, he was just han's side kick, and it was no real surprise when they decided to kill him off, his character had been going no where, just being a kind of protector to the Solo's, when they had the Noghri.

I got it at a Closing Down sale for 5AUD, so I thought I'd re-read it, as the first time i was just trying to finish the NJO, but this time I am going over it again. I've noticed that the NJO is actually seperate books, and not just a series. Sure it features the same enemy, but so did a lot of the earlier books with the Empire.

Techinically you are correct, there are duologies and trilogies within the series but there are no books taking place between any of the NJO books.
