Gabriel BaneDuff looked up at the ceiling of the old Hand Catacombs, it was dark and run down
Through the force he sent a message out to his new apprentice Gabriel Bane.........
"Meet me here"

((Just to tell you, the blue print is kind of hard to see, I'm not sure if anybody else can see it better but I have to stare hard at the screen to make it out. Sorry, I'll leave now))

TrainingSitting in silence, Gabriel opened his eyes when he heard the words that seemed clear as day. They were those of now Shadow Protector Duff. He rose and made his way to the Training Grounds. As he entered the large Catacomb, he was taken aback by it's immense appearance and overwhelmed by the Dark presence he felt. He saw the outline of a dark figure standing in the center of the room and he stepped forward.
Kneeling before his new Master, Gabriel placed one hand on the ground in front of him. "Master, I am here as you have requested, and await your command."

(Why must people insist on commenting on matters that do not concern them. There is absolutly nothing wrong with the blue text. It will only be used once in the whole training process to simulate speaking through the force therefore as it is not being continually used throughout it really does not matter what it looked like. Therefore the colour of the text is inconsequential and has no bearing here)
"Welcome Gabriel, these are the old hand catacombs, here you shall be trained in the ways of the darkside. You first task shall be to answer a simple question. When you have completed training and gained rank, which order will you be appling to join?" Duff questioned

Gabriel raised his body up and sat back on his knees, keeping his eyes focused towards the ground in front of him. He dare not rise to his feet. "Master, I wish to join the Military Order, as I live for combat."
|
Darth Duff
|
"The military, then your training will be focused on physical combat" Duff suggested
Duff walked towards his new apprentice and looked at him straight in the eye....
"You must go now, and learn of a Sith Lord who has shown great ability in fighting skills and concentrated on them instead of the force. Do not rush this apprentice, as there is no time limit" Duff ordered.

I have my AnswerGabriel rose to his feet as he felt his Master looking into his eyes. He stood tall and bold, his head reaching well above 2 meters.
"Master, this is a question I have studied the answer for my entire life.......Bane, Lord Bane is such a being. His pure size is very similar to my own and I've noticed several similarities in our philosophies upon my studies of him. Though his power in the Dark side grew to unfathomable heights, he started with only his own power. His diligence in his saber training on Korriban were proof of his dedication to mastering his physical abilities. Also, his experience in the military is a major reason in my own decision to join the armed forces. He is a Dark Lord I would be honored to mold my own future after. He paved a path for stronger, wiser Sith to rise up. I hope this answer satisfies your question."

"Very good Gabriel, now i would like you to tell me of Darth Banes bad points" Duff asked

Bane's weaknessesHe hesitated only a second before answering his Master's second question concerning Lord Bane.
"I believe Lord Bane's weaknesses are what he believes to be his strongest traits. One being his arrogance. He believed himself to be superior to the rest of the Brotherhood of Darkness, which he was, but while the way he went about extracting them was brilliant because it was successful, it could have just as easily gone the other way. If only one of the Dark Lords would have suspected something, they could have joined their powers and stopped him. Secondly, his unwillingness to join with any Sith of lesser strength. Again, stemming from his arrogance. While his philosophies concerning the Sith are accurate, coming from Darth Revan himself, he would benefit in forming alliances with other Sith, rather than simply wiping them out. Also, he showed another weakness, when dealing with Githany. He admitted this himself. His was influenced by her and this could have easily led to his destruction if one of several things would have went differently between them. Lastly, and this could go either way, his Rule of Two. While I believe it was a brilliant strategy for him to use in that time because he planned on going into seclusion, if at any time, he had been found out by an opposing force, they would only need to eliminate two strong in the Force, rather than an army."

"Very good apprentice, but remember this, ones weaknesses can easily be turned into a strength, but not always. You weaknesses are primarily defined by the opponent that you are facing." Duff examined
"Now i would like for you to recite the sith code, and explain it to me" Duff asked

The Sith CodePeace is a lie, there is only passion.
True peace does not exist. There is always turmoil, whether it is apparent or hidden within. Passion drives everyone. Passion for something or someone. To achieve anything, you must have passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Passion fuels the fire, making you stronger. When your body and mind are overcome with passion the physical pain or restrictions seem to fade, again, making you stronger.
Through strength, I gain power.
As your passion grows, feeding your strength, inevitably you become more powerful. Not only more powerful in literal terms, but everyone else sees that strength and are affected by it, in turn, making you even more powerful.
Through power, I gain victory.
As more realize one's true power and begin to question their own, that is when victory is within one's grasp. Whether power intimidates your foe or simply overwhelms their own power. Victory is inevitable to the Powerful.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
No matter where you started, whether it was the mines of Apatros, the feeble padawan of an even weaker Jedi, or an abandon child left to die, if you achieve even one victory you have broken the chains that once bound you. You have climbed higher than thought possible.
The Force shall free me.
In the end, with all of this: Passion, Strength, Power, Victory, you grow in the Force and as you grow more aware of the Force inside and around you, only then can you truly unleash it's full Power and be Free.

"Very good apprentice" Duff said as he stood and applauded his student
"You have done a fine Job on theory, but now we move on to Practical. I wish for you to challenge another sith to a duel, i shall observe it in the Dojo as part of you training. Your opponent can be of any rank." Duff explained as we walked out from the Catacombs, towards the Dojo

Gabriel entered the catacombs where he had received his initial training. He reached the center and sat down in meditation. He reached out to his Master with the Dark Side. He needed guidance and he knew his Master would be more than capable of giving it to him.

((Sorry for the double post, but it has been awhile without my Master.))
Gabriel once again entered the catacombs. He walked to the center and took a seat in meditation. He began to send a message out to his Master through the Force. He needed to explain to his Master that he was ready for his trial. He knew he was and he couldn't stand being at the rank of apprentice, however, he knew his Master's wisdom, and would trust his judgement. No matter how much it frustrated him.
