And again, greetings.

I have been craving some StarWars RP, but haven't found it yet. Before I start, I need to know a few things.

I haven't seen any threads on how long you guy's like your posts, or any other RP rules. I will continue to look while I wait for a reply.

Also, is this site still active? I seen a few threads only a couple lines from the top thread that are months old.

FInnally, for now, how many non-force users do we have that play here? I'm interested in a Bounty Hunter class.

We prefer a developed system of roleplay. Most users find it engaging to include detail, so I would go with your gut instinct in determining the right length for you. Quality over quantity.

Yes, we're active. Mostly the leadership is active and a few apprentices, but an entire middle class seems to depart after their training. We're working on remedying that fact and would love for you to join us.

A couple; though not too many. The Bounty Hunters used to have a public headquarters, but now it is a private domain I would be happy to grant you entry to.

Alright, then. Thank you. I'll probably have it figured out, completed, and already be at work by the time any one gets this, but where should I place my character's profile?

Also, I need to know what time-line it is. I can't seem to find it anywhere. To me, it seems like it's like 10 ABY. Is that anywhere close?

EDIT- I thought up a few more questions and concerns. For one, when you say "private domain" does that mean I will be having RPs that have no effect of your main stories, or could my RPs have the possibility of being tied in? I am worried that if I play a bounty hunter, I'm not going to have much of a place in your RPs. I'm sure if some one needs to be killed, or captured... you'd send one of your lackies, or, better yet, do it yourself.
If what I think is true, I have trouble believing that I will get a devoted NPC player to play my marks and contacts.
Also, I haven't been able to find any RPs here of actual fighting. I seen a lot of duels, and training, but it seemed like there was an absence of story and conflict. Am I over looking these key ingredients of good role play with my limited time schedule?

We exist in any year a user wishes to base his character.

They would be tied in to the relevant year you set them in if they do not conflict with canonical fact of that period.

The leadership, which I have already mentioned is by and by the only frequently active class, does not start a lot of roleplays. We are prone to take part when one is started, however.

Also, a large portion of our forum's history comes from my fan fiction, The Life of Empress Saber. Prose is not the only means of developing a story, however, it has just become the accepted norm.

Uhm.. Well, it's a bit longer than I imagined. I read two of the chapters, but I want to get my profile up and pending before I head off to work.

This is the closest thing I could find to the "Welcome Forum" that the application thread guided me to, so... here it is.

Weapon(s): Shafiro carries many different weapons- Marks do not always take the same amount of weaponry to take down- including a stun baton, vibro knife, a carbine (I don't have enough time to search the wiki for the correct model), and a few surprises hidden in his Armor's gauntlets.

-Shafiro's VT-49 is an Imperial assault ship that has been tinkered with and modified to meet a Bounty Hunter's every need. Most of the cargo space has been converted to holding cells-made to keep force users in. There are few components that weren't taken out and replaced with better, and illegal parts. Instead of hiring an expensive crew that could partake in mutiny, he has a multi-task droid to do most of his work for him. (I'm going to have to cut it short and just add more detail through RP)
Appearance: Shafiro wears a suit of cortossis (if that is spelled correctly) weaved armor to offer protection from the lightsaber wielding marks he might encounter. The armor resembles a Mandalorian soldier's, but uses a completely different concept. Thousands of tiny neurodes implant themselves into the wearer's skin to allow the armor to be more of an exoskeleton, rather than a burden to carry.

History- Shafiro grew up on Kiffu without the drama filled life that most bounty hunters seemed to go through. He left his clan for unknown reasons and ventured out into the galaxy, never to return to his clan. Things went good, until finding a job was harder that the enthusiastic teenager imagined and he ran out of the money he left home with. He eventually started down the path of desperation and did things worthy of a scumbag title. After years of doing other's dirty work, his life style began paying off. He took on the permanent profession of a bounty hunter and started bringing in a large sum of credits. Bringing in criminals and heroes alike, dead or alive, Shafiro continues to roam the galaxy's criminal networks and bounty boards for the newest challenge.

Would the Sith have any need for a bounty hunter? If so, or if not, then guide me to the correct forum that I should start in.
