Holocron of Darth Barad-Dur

11.19.2007

The Lord Emperor Shadow has requested the great warriors of the Sith to make personal holocrons. If I have done wrong or need quidence, I am sure that our Emperor will tell me.

I am Darth Barad-Dur, once the apprentice of the mighty Darth Litihium. He has taught me well, and I have grown since my knighting in the ways of the Sith. I have advanced to the rank of Sith Master, First Degree, and Darth Marix, the Grand Admiral of our Empire's Navy, is training me to become a warrior in the great Sith Navy.

I leave my holocron for the time being at this.

I joined the ranks of the Sith at the beginning of 2006, and during the long two years I have seen many things. And now, as the lord Emperor Shadow steps down, it makes me wonder what shall happen to this great Empire. Will it continue being strong and united? Or, will it fall into dismal and dispair?

I do not know what the others will do. Perhaps they will fall. Maybe they will betray our order. Who knows?

I for one will not break my oaths I have made for my Emperor and our righteous cause.

To be a good Sith,
One must know pain.
To be a true Sith,
One must know betrayal.
To be the Ultimate Sith,
One must have no fear.

There is one question we must all ask ourselves. Do you have no fear?

Last night, while I mediated, I was given a vision of an unknown Sith lord approaching me. He pointed to the east, towards the Dark, where the Empire lay.

Then, he pointed to the west, where a dim light was spreading from system to system. He said:

The Jedi are rising,
The light is penetrating the Dark,
Many Sith have betrayed the Order,
Some are playing double-agent,
Beware these traitors!
They must be slushed out.
Or the Empire shall perish.

He then vanished, and left me alone.

I am a Sith. As such, my friends are few, but my allies are many. The Sith have survived countless generations of time. The Sith have suffered much, and made others suffer more in many pivotal wars.

Why is this? It is because the Sith cannot be destroyed. There will always be someone with enough hate and anger to join our cause. It is they who will rise above the others.

That is why I am a Sith.

I have seen many Sith join the ranks of the Rebels. They then try to please both sides of the fight. Is this right? Maybe, maybe not.

Is this treason? Depends upon your point of view.

But, no man can serve on two sides, because they will end up betraying one or the other.

I have dueled several SIth of this Empire. And all have impressive skills. I think perhaps it is time to put this into good use. By way of, say, infiltrating all other so called Empires and such that are really in opposition to the Sith, and defeating them all in massive combat. The infidels must be wiped out before we are destroyed.

I think I should divolge into my background.

My birthname was Zahrin Harmon. I was a Naboo. During the Jedi Purge, I was discovered by two Jedi Knights, a Calamarian and a human. Both were killed during a training session by Imperial Stormtroopers. I served in the Galactic Empire until I came across the Dark Side from the Sith Empire. It was here, among others like myself, that I was able to accomplish my greatest feat. What was that feat?

I'll tell you it, when you return to hear the tale of Darth Barad-Dur.

11.29.2007.

I see you have come again, my friend, to hear the tale and deeds of Darth Barad-Dur. Where was I? Ah yes. My greatest deed. My greatest deed was becoming a Sith Lord. Indeed, a Sith Master First Degree. To be a Sith Lord is to hold great power and responsibilities.

So, what of my Master, Darth Lithium? Is he dead? No, not yet. Is he wise? Wise enough to see my potential and train me.

My old master knows alot about the Force. But, he is not strong enough to face the Emperor or those personally trained by him. None of us are that strong. But, one day, perhaps even I will be strong enough to do so. But, until that day, I am Darth Barad-Dur, proud of being a Sith.

If you expect me to critisize my superiors actions in my holocron, you miss judge me. I will only critises traitors. However, I will give an honest opinion of thier abilities.

Let me say, Grand Admiral Marix. He is a worthy advesary. I should know, since I dueled him at the Duel of the Platform, which you can find in the dojo of the Empire. Would I trust him with my life? Depends on which side he was on.

Is my opinion mistaken? Oh no, my young Sith. You will find that it is you who are mistaken, about a great many things.
Darth Barad-Dur

12.2.2007

When a Sith fights, he should not hold back, unless he faces an advesary that is stronger then he is. He should be totally commited. But, when he faces someone stronger then him, he should wait until his enemy makes even a small mistake before striking a killing blow.

At this very moment, several other Sith and I are working against some renegades. If there is one thing I hate most, it is traitors and vagabonds. This Empire must not fall, at any cost.
Darth Barad-Dur

12.6.2007

The way of the Sith is the way to war. The Sith must unite for a common purpose, or else the Empire must fall. It is the way of things. It is the way of the Galaxy and the Force.
Darth Barad-Dur

12.7.2007

I find myself wondering if there is a diffrent type of Sith. One stronger, or more advanced then our own. If there are, why haven't we heard about them? Are they hiding like the Sith did? Or, are they unwilling to challenge us?

There is always something more grand in this Galaxy for everything there is. So, is there?

12.13.2007

I see myself standing at a brink of choices. Last night, I had a vision:

I saw two stars and a planet on the horizon. The planet was shrouded in war. The stars was caught in an epic struggle, and were pulling Kuat into it.

And a voice said to me, "Save only one you can. Go to war and stop thousands of Sith from dying. Or save the capitol, and thousands of non-force holders from a firey fate."

What is the meaning? I do not know yet. I will meditate further on this matter.

A new year dawns. And along with it, many new oppertunities for all. The Sith are warriors that must change to meet the times, to use new methods to achieve thier ends. They must make goals that they can achieve, not those that they can't.

Emperor Shadow still sits on the throne. I wonder when he will step down. Or maybe, this is all a trick.  Confused Who knows the mind of the Emperor?

I never knew that being a master could be so strenuos on a person. I don't envy anyone wanting to train someone, because it takes alot for a person to train an apprentice, especially one as arrogant as mine. Wink At any rate, my advice to someone new to training is: don't be afraid to ask for assistance, and look upon other threads when you run out of ideas.

k

((you are so right there I asked for help and read training threads all the time my first apprentice lol Very Happy ))

I am about to go the way of the Force. For two years, I will be working for the Force in a self-imposed exile, to strengthen myself in the Force. When I return to this Empire, I plan to be greater and stronger then I am now. Until that time, Farewell, and May the Force Be With You.
