                                          (Thanks man)
High Defender Adenn

A bio would help. Try to explain why a Tusken Raider is Force Sensitive and how he communicates.
Draco Korr

I know I am a Newbie, but I agree. Out of all my extensive SW knowledge, (My knowledge includes New ,Old and Expanded Universes) I can't seem to remember ever seeing or hearing about a Force Sensitive Tusken Raider. This needs to be thought out carefully but, if done correctly, could be a very interesting story indeed.
Major General Celestial

Although this is role-play, who says he cant be the first? Anything is possible.
High Defender Adenn

I'm not say that he can't. I'm just saying that a biography explaining his  story would help.
Supreme Commander Alor

A'Sharad Hett and his father Sharad Hett were Tusken Raiders. They were humans inducted into the tribe. So he may have been raised as a Tusken, but is human as a species, like A'Sharad Hett.
Draco Korr

Yes I know. I just assumed that he was speaking of actually being a Tusken. I appoligize.
High Prophet Crozeus

Well we don't even know yet.
Stero Leham

I can't make backstories very well And I want him to be Just another Tusken Raider
High Prophet Crozeus

Who can randomly use lightsabers?
Lord Aequitas

It's not that hard. Everyone would know what a lightsaber is.
High Prophet Crozeus

Well, people always go on about how a non-force user using a lightsaber to the same degree as a force-user would be more likely to injur himself rather than an opponent. Plus, force-users could predict where his blade was to fall and he wouldn't be able to.
Lord Aequitas

So? Just because there are no records of tuskan force users, doesnt mean there can be one.
High Prophet Crozeus

He said he wanted to be just another Tusken Raider.
I'm not against force-using raiders, it seems like a good idea. But it needs backstory.
Lord Aequitas

That was in response to someone being inducted as a Raider.
Supreme Commander Alor

That as well. I have never seen anything that says that Tusken Raiders can't be Force Sensitive.
Considering they rarely participate with the outside world, one would never know if their child was Force Sensitive. Since the Tuskens themselves wouldn't understand it, the child would be left alone and raised normally, never developing their powers.

Perhaps Stero's tribe was attacked during his childhood, but his life was spared and a Jedi or Sith found him and saw his potential. Beginning his training, Stero somehow made it to our Empire's Capital for real training...
Stero Leham

Like I said not good with BACKSTORIES
Supreme Commander Alor

I just gave you an idea... Ask for help if you need it...
Stero Leham

Yeah I know but I'm really really bad you gave me an idea yes but.... I almost have to ask someone to do it for me it's embarrassing Sad
Darth Cruiciatus

Making a backstory is sort of like Roleplaying, only you control everything. I'm horrible at making backstories, so I think you can. Laughing Marix has already given you a start. Just sort of expand upon it a little.
Stero Leham

History:screams screams was all he rememberd of that horrible day an unknown enemy attack on his villiage then he rememberd a guy with colorful stick came and ordered him to be his apprentice he had trained with him for 11 years before he died his last request was train at the sith academy so here he is before you know!

                                         (How was that)
Darth Cruiciatus

Okay then... Confused
Draco Korr

I can help if it's accepted and allowed.
Supreme Commander Alor

By all means, Draco. Helping another member is never discouraged.
Draco Korr

Ok, Give me untill at least tommorow. I will post it here to get opinions.
Stero Leham

Thanks dude you saved my butt

Stero Leham's History

100 years ago:

Somewhere, in a small hut isolated on an island on Naboo

Denzo sat in his den, rumaging frantically through some old datafiles, breathing heavily with persperation beading his old, worn facial features. He had expected he was nearing the end of his life for quite sometime now, but he always put off locating his Will because he felt that he still had a few years left anyway. This morning, he had learned of a terrible truth when visited by a mysterious man who claimed he was a fellow profit. Denzo had become a hunted man, some hunted him for his knowledge, some for his wisdom, some sought to simply punish him and some...wished to eliminate him.

He had known this for many years now and he also knew that he could not keep running forever. So, when he found this remote and secluded location, he decided to settle down here and, if his enemies had indeed located him, he would make his final stand here. This choice had not changed, but if what the profit had told him would truely come to pass, he was going to have to make that stand this night...for a team of assasins were on their way to kill him... and time was not his ally today.

Later that Night

Denzo was sitting on a lounger couch in the flickering fire light of his small and cozy little den. He closed his eyes and could feel the warmth of the fire touching upon his cool body. Tiny fingers of warmth seemed to reach out for him, even through the cold darkness that shrowded the hut, to comfort him as they grazed peacefully upon his flush cheeks. It reminded him of when his late wife used to do the same, and suddenly, she was there. He could see her, and as clearly as if she were on that lounger with him...and she was smiling warmly and running her soft hands accross his face.

"It is almost time to join you my love, you needn't wait much longer." He said with closed eyes and a hushed voice. "There's but one more task I have to preform before I depart." Her voice came back like a distant echo from a dream that he had just awoken from, "I will wait for you Denzo...I eagerly await your arrival ...We shall be happy again."

A single tear managed to squeeze itself out of his right eye and ran down his cheek, tickling slightly and sending a shiver through his body that reminded him of just how cold the air around him really was. He openeed his eyes to see several creatures emerging from the shadows outside his window. It was like they materialized from the darkness itself. Suddenly, there was a knok at the small wooden front door. He got up and approached cautiously. He was reaching out to grab the door handle when an audible *SNAP HISS* penetrated the silence that dominated his little shack only moments before. Denzo's eyes widened it shock as the room filled with a vibrant crimson light and a burning sensation shot through his gut.

Denzo looked down and found that a red beam of light protruded from his abdomen and through his front door. Foul odors of burnt wood and flesh played at his nasal passages and his eyes began to sting and water from the horrible smells combining. There was a deep hum and sizzle as the beam was pulled back through from the outside and Denzo fell instantly to the floor, his gut now ice cold and steaming from a charred hole in his belly. *THUD...BAM* a kick and the door flew open.  There stood a figure clad in black and what appeared to be no face holding a red lightsaber. Slowly but surely, more approached and could be seen standing behind the figure in the doorway. The figures all began chanting in sync.

Denzo used the rest of what energy he had to preform his last task, but he would have to make it fast, for he was fading quickly. He gathered all the energy he had left and spoke,

"Your kind has been murdering and terrorizing innocents for far too long. NO MORE!!!! As my last act on my last day, I will give my final Prophecy."

He closed his eyes.

"Your rein of anarchy and choas has put the galaxy and the Force into a state of major unbalance. One day, the Force will exact its revenge and restore its balance by selecting a special few upon which to bestow its power. It will also select a remote few from species and tribes which don't normally produce force users so that they may remain hidden in the shadows throughout the duration of their training and emerge powerful enough to help all other force users eliminate and destroy your kind thus restoring balance to the force once again. With the force as my witness, let it be known that on this day it has now been spoken by an offical profit...It has been spoken...and it SHALL come to pass." Then all light faded and Denzo was no more.

10 years ago:

Stero sat in his Tusken hut eating his dinner all alone while the entire tribe gathered and ate outside around their ceremonial fire as the first signs of darkness pesented itself over the horizon. One moon was almost completely visible and the remaining two would surely follow suit shortly. Stero didn't wish to eat alone but it didn't bother him much either. He had grown acustom to this in his 6 years of life becuase every since he was born he had been hated by those in his tribe. He was discovered to be different than all others and for that they feared and hated him...so he had been forbidden to participate in any tribal events, including things like rituals, huntings, and warrior training sessions. Eventually, it got so severe that he was even forbidden to even eat with them. He did not know the resons nor did he understand why he was different, he only knew that he was different and that it hadn't been his fault.

It was probably just as well though because they normally hold an annual sacrifce for their gods. This year however, they had no sacrifice to offer. He was actually glad that he didn't have to be with them when the gods brought down their wraths on the tribe out of displeasure for not recieveing their sacrifice. Suddenly, Stero's father entered the hut and grabbed Stero by the arm. Three Tusken warriors entered behind him and helped his father restrain him. They carried him out and as they exited, the entire tribe began thrusting their weapons in the air and the area filled with echoing Tusken cries. This is when Stero finally understood, he WAS the sacrifice.

They were heading toward the tribal bon fire and Stero grew exeptionally frightened. They stopped and the tribe went silent as his father began bellowing out the usual sacrifice speech that he had grown used to hearing every year...then, they threw him in the fire. He began to burn, he began to squirm and scream. Feelings of panic, fear, anger, pain and agony overwhelmed him, then he felt another burning. This one being deep within him and he did not know whether it was him or if the fire was already touching upon his inards. Just then, the burning grew hotter and hotter by the second, until finally, he could no longer tolerate it. He screamed as pure hatered boiled from his soul and became like a living thing inside him. His screams thundered across plains and rocked the cliff sides. rocks began tumbling down cliff faces and Tusken raiders began scattering in a frieghtened panic. The feelings grew and swelled and eventually began pouring back out of him. The ropes binding him snapped and he threw his arms out to his sides, darkness overtaking him and coldness gripping his black heart.

The bon fire exploded, sending flames and burning hot embers in all directions. Stero blinked and looked around. The fire that was consuming him only moments before was now gone, leaving him standing on a black mound of smoldering ashes. All around him, his village was engulfed in a massive inferno...and all his tribe members were nothing more than flaming, lifeless heaps of meat.

Two moon cycles later

Stero laid in the charred ruins of what used to be his village. The inferno had long since been extinguised and the only remenants of it that remained were a few, still smoking pieces of wood. He had not eaten in two days and his body still burned from the flames. Just when he was beginning to accept the fact that he was going to die there, alone, broken and hungry. Then, a shadow emerged from the darkness on the boaders of his village. The creature approached and held out a hand, bringing with it promises of food, shelter, training and understanding. Stero reached out, and although reluctantly, grabbed his hand, realizing that he had no other options available to him.

Over the next 10 years, the stranger showed him things that his tribe had never even known existed. He fed him, gave him training and shelter and taught him about this mystical thing known as the Force. Stero began training in this as well and became a student of high quality. He grew strong in the force and even began to rely on it, realizing for the first time that not everyone possesed it. this was what made him different from the rest of his tribe, no other Tusken on record had ever possesed it, they didn't understand it and therefore, they feared it. Eventually, the stranger left and never returned. Before he left, he told Stero that his training was not yet complete and that he needed to seek out other training oppertunities. He also told Stero that he held to many uncertainties, and that in order to completely harness the force and be at one with it, he would need to search out the answers that would satisfy his hungry curiousity, thus leaving his mind EMPTY and clear and allowing the force to completely take him.

Stero now roams the galaxy seeking other training oppertunities and answers. He does not seek an asnwer as to why he is so different...He now only wishes to discover WHY the Force had chosen him...

Well guys, there it is. Use it, don't use it, either way is fine. But let me know what you think Okay?
High Prophet Crozeus

That's amazing that you can come up with something like that.
Darth Cruiciatus

That is amazing.
High Mage Serratus

It would be even more amazing if it was canon. Tusken Raiders don't make ritual sacrifices to their gods, they don't have gods. They make sacrifices to ward off the vengeful spirit of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and even then, they rarely sacrifice sentients, usually stolen valuables.

As for the "Profits" of the Dark Side, presumably what Darth Vader made from selling those infamous cookies the Dark Side supposedly have, they are allied with the Sith, perhaps because they are Sith, so I don't get why they would send a team of assassins after him.

As for your time frame, chronologically speaking, one hundred years ago, the Sith were still unrevealed and no one but the Prophets themselves knew about the Prophets. Also, notably, the Prophets were still confined to their stronghold on Dromund Kaas.

So the Sith are sending assassins against themselves even though they don't know of their own existence.

Other than that it's good.
Darth Cruiciatus

I'll offer to be the guys master if it is okay or something.
High Prophet Crozeus

Ah, Dean, you have to be such a pedant. Just let the creativity shine through Smile

Sam - you deserve a promo.
High Mage Serratus

Ah Crozeus, I didn't see you criticising Emperor Shadow for telling Draco to be canon in his own thread.
Lord Aequitas

Now, now, nothing here is canon in the real SW universe.

I'm staying out of this but offer my services as Master. However, I would request you consider others before me.
Stero Leham

Draco thanks man it's perfect in every way Darth Cruiciatus i WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR APPRENTICE Sorry over excited

That's because he's the Emperor  Very Happy
High Mage Serratus

That could be it.
Or because you don't like me for terminating my application for the Church.
High Prophet Crozeus

Darth Serratus wrote:

Now now, that's off-topic and untrue.
Draco Korr

Look, I take no insult in being corrected. But I ask that those wishing to critisize remember that I'm a new member here as well and am still learning about what y'all call "CANON" here. The guy needed help and I like helping others. Especially when no one else here who knows what's canon here was offering to help. It was hard enough to come up with a story explainng how a Tusken is force sensitive anyway. If this is not right for the site, then I'm certain there is a moderator or something that can edit the story. But it seems that everytime I work hard on something and post it here on TDSL, someone shoots it down and it's beginning to make me wonder why I even keep trying.
Lord Aequitas

Speaking as the site's official Historian, ignore them. We havent decided what is canon yet.

Your story was excellent.
High Prophet Crozeus

There is a Historical Commision working on the timeline on the site, and a sub-council determining canon.

EDIT:: The High Historian got there before me.
Lord Aequitas

Actually, Crozeus, there isn't. We're working on the TIMELINE.

The subcouncil of games and CANON is working on canon.
High Prophet Crozeus

Well, they both suplement the other.
Darth Cruiciatus

Stero Leham wrote:

Cool. If a lord approves, I'd love to get started.
Stero Leham

Um.... Excuse Me but I would be honored to have Darth Cruiciatus as my Master!

(draco your good in my book)
Lord Aequitas

No they don't. Otherwise the council would be doing the timeline.

Now, Cruciatus has been acccepted as the Master, so no more posts until a member of the appropriate council can say yes to the agreement.
High Mage Serratus

Use Wookieepedia. And I would have offered but you did first and I was giving you right of way.

I'm on the Sub-Council of Games and Canon. And I don't think that altering Tusken Raider culture is on our agenda.
Darth Cruiciatus

Okay, stop posting, it's off-topic and really really dumb. All this time spent arguing you could have spent actually working on what is canon and what is not, and NOT arguing over what tusken raider's did.
Darth Suspiria

As a member of the committee on games and canon, I will point it out to Shadow Protector Tarna. He is the head of the committee and as to whether it is canon and acceptable as a bio is his domain. Unless the Emperor voices his opinion on the matter.

Typically though, bios here are a short background story accompanied by other things such as weapons, force powers, etc and the fiction would go in the storytelling section. There it would be acceptable.
Stero Leham

Every time I start a forum people start arguing
Darth Cruiciatus

It's not you. These guys argue a lot. Laughing
Stero Leham

I know that master that's kinda obvious but I've created alot of forums everyone always argue on the subject
Darth Suspiria

I sent a PM to Shadow Protector Tarna. There will be no argument. The decision is his.
Stero Leham

Thanks Darth Suspiria
Sovereign Defender Tarna

I have found no evidence that says that Tuskens perform such sacrificial rituals.  However, it's possible that this certain tribe was different.  Perhaps this tradition could be built into the current canon.  Also, I don't find it totally unlikely that such events are impossible to occur.

Serratus, if you think this is totally wrong, then say so.  Would this truly be a tragedy to forum canon?
High Mage Serratus

Admittedly, no. Just my perfectionist complex. And OCD. Sorry.
Stero Leham

I would please like a Lord to approve my training with Darth Cruiciatus
Sovereign Defender Tarna

Darth Serratus wrote:

No need to apologize.  You were trying to raise the level of authenticity, just what the Council is about.  However, I see no real problem with this.

By the power invested in me through the Office of the High Council, I approve this training.
Darth Cruiciatus

Thank you. Let's get started. I have a special Lesson Plan I've been waiting to use.
High Prophet Crozeus

Sweet, well done Sam. And good luck!
