Please tell me which kind of training you would ike to recieve..
OOC: Tasks
IC: Rp it out.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: I would like to join either the Church or the Inquisitors when I can, so if we can focus on that it would be great. I would also like to be a warrior as well, trained more with the Force then a blade though.
Not sure how you want me to start the In Character though. Everywhere else the master starts the IC to give the details on where the training takes place and all that, and I am new to how things work here.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
[[That was not the question but okay....I guess we gunna role play it out.]]
Gra'tua stood in the large Antechamber of the Sith Temple. His outer cloak covering his bodies appearance, the hood was up allowing th shadow to cover his face. His apprentice had not been told the race of his Master, just his name..Inquisitor Gra'tua.
He was in this place because he had just been asigned a promising apprentice that wished to join the Inquisitors or the Church. So what better place to start off than in the Antechamber? He stood still, admiring one of the many statues of dark patrons as he waited, his arms crossed within the sleaves of his cloak.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden was given directions as to where to meet his master. It was called the Sith Antechamber, something he had not heard about. Along the hallway walls were statues of various things, some the man recognized, some he did not. When he arrived in the room there was what appeared to be a floating robe in the middle of the room, looking upon one of the various statues. IT was.....a bit odd actually.
Jaden did not speak because he was not spoken to, something he had learned in the military. He would wait to be adressed, assuming that this was his master. If it was not he would feel more then slightly stupid, and be angered at the deciet as well.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
The young Inquisitor felt his apprentice approach through the force. As his apprentice stood near Gra'tua turned to face him."Good evening Jaden, we are to begin immiediatly." He spoke with his homeworld accent showing through. The anphibious reptilion started twords the large scuplture of Darth Revan."I have been told that you wish to learn the ways of the Church as well as the Inquisitors, is that correct?" He asked smoothly as he looked upon the Dark patrons statue.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden was relieved that this was, apparently, his master. It was akward to be talking to someone of a different race. In the military his unit was composed of only humans, and his homeworld had limited other species as well, so the younger man was not acustomed to having something "alien" around him. He would need to learn to trust, listen, and understand this alien if he was to become truly powerful in the dark side.
Immediatly the apprentice was side by side with his master, staring up at a statue. It resembled, though he was not entirely sure, that of Darth Revan, an ancient Sith Lord. It was strange to see how things were going within the Sith Order.
"Yes master. I wish to study the path of the Inquisitors mostly. To uphold justice is my true path."
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua removed his hood, revealing his head tails and face. He turned and looked at his newly appointed apprentice."Then that is what you shall learn, if your are to learn about the church, it will be done by one of the Prophets." As he talked he started to move again, this time to the Statue of Lord Bane."I shall have to know which school you would like to join once you are of rank to do so, I also require your weaknesses and strengths." He said calmly as he admired the craftsmenship of the Sith statues.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden had heard much about the three schools, but only the schools of the past. Before a battle the soldiers liked to tell what myths they had heard of the people they were working for, the Sith, and the Trayus Academy or Triumvirate, had come up many times. Each time there was something different added or taken away to make it seem more realistic or far fetched. Jaden had no hunger for power, only for Justice. Betrayal was not one thing that he had on his mind, to him that was a weakness, and pain was a teacher of life. It would be between the School of Pain, and the School of Hunger, though which he was undecided of at the moment.
"Is it possible to learn both of these and then move forward once I have the basics of both groups master?"
Jaden admired the statue of Lord Bane, whom he recognized very well, along with his master. He needed answers to some questions of his own before he could provide a good answer to the questions asked of him.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua nodded as he turned to his apprentice."Yes, you may learn the ways of the church as well as the Inquisitors. Infact I would like you to research your choices carefully before choosing one. Other than that I suppose I could ask a Prophet for help in teaching you the ways of the Church." He said calmly as he looked back to the statue. "But for now, may we concentrate on the Inquisitors? Or would you have the teachings of the Church first?" He asked calmly and respectfully. Gra'tua figured if he showed respect early on, he would recieve it as well.
[edit]
Jaden Mustik
OOC: If you read my post you would see that I was talking about the Church and Inquisitors, NOT the schools. Is there a way for you to edit your post to reflect that please.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
[[Sorry, I must have read something within your post that made me think you were talking about two different schools. I apologize. I have edited it, if there is still something wrong, please let me know.]]
Jaden Mustik
Jaden was amazed at how his master was talking to him. The Sith that he had heard about were rutheless killers, bent on galaxial domination, but this one seemed to be otherwise. His master was an Inquisitor, so he figured it best to learn what he had to teach him first.
"If possible I would like to learn all that you can teach me of the Inquisitors. I love to uphold peace and justice, that is why I was in the military."
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
The young Inquisitor new about his military background, so he thought it his best to teach him the ways of the Inquisitors first."I will teach you all that I know, and if you still wish to learn the ways of the Church, I shall research it and teach it to you myself." He said in a reasuring sort of way."We will begin now." He said boldly as he started twords the large double doors of the Antechamber, his voice becomming more strict as he started the training process in his mind.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden followed his master silently, though his mind was wandering without control. He was becomming a Sith and it had taken long enough, though that was his fault. He was still a bit weary about a mystical power, but there had been too much proof in history and his past to deny it fully. He would, hopefully, achieve a great power through using this man in front of him. Wiothout speaking Jaden silently following, hoping he would begin soon.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua proceeded through the large double doors of the Antechamber. He had recolected everything he had heard about the order, and recited the words of the order to his apprentice."This is a direct quote from the Emporer's words within the Courts of the Inquisitors" He said calmly as he closed his eyes, remembering the exact thing the Emporer had said.
"The duty of the Order is to ensure loyalty, weed out deceit and crush rebellion. An Inquisitor has a broad range of discretionary power and has the ability to closely monitor the actions of any person who does not hold a seat on the High Council.
An Inquisitor shall breed fear and inspire terror wherever they travel. Anyone working with this Order is the first line of defense against treason, sabotage and a host of other crimes. This Order shall act as a buffer, staving off chaos at every turn so the Empire may know true harmony. An Inquisitor must be prepared to spend days, weeks even, on assignment. The security of the Empire rests squarely on the shoulders of our intelligence officers.
Leading operations, gathering intelligence, keeping records, interrogations and other acts shall be critical in the success of this Order. Failure in any degree is grounds for banishment from the Order. The sensitive material Inquisitors shall encounter will require an absolute oath that will not be entered lightly."
After he had finished the speech he had stopped and turned to his apprentice."I would like you to take what I have told you hand shorten it into a small motto for yourself, so you never forget what you are getting into. Also the first thing we will train is your stealth." He said calmly as he continued down the hall and into the simulation chamber.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden took in the words of the Emperor he onced served militarily. Now he would be serving him in a different way. Already Jaden could tell that the training would not be easy, mentally at least, as he was made to come up with his own motto, presumably by the end of the hallway. During his stay in the military his batallion had formed their own motto 'We are the elite of the elite, better then better, and above all we are Batallion 542', but that was nothing to what he was supposed to incorporate into this. Several things went through his mind for actual mottos, but he had picked one right as his master turned to face him.
Without any word from his master, as none was needed, Jaden recited the motto as if he knew it by heart, "We are the bringers of harmony and justice, the enspirers of fear, we are the truth behind the Empire until our dying breath"
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua nodded as his apprentice had recited his own motto for the passage."Now you begin your stealth training." As he finished speaking he turned to a monitor with keyboard just infront of the large platform just a few steps below. He started typing quickly, imputting the information needed to run the program.
As Gra'tua finished typing artificial walls formed below on the platform, as well as artifical probe driods, patroling the halls within the simulation."It is your task to navigate this structure undetected, the catch is, you must do it without destroying anything. There are a total of 20 droids patroling this labirynth[sp]. They will not sound an alarm if you are detected, they will just send that information to me. Once you can do this without being spotted, we may move on to another exercise. Is that understood?" He said calmly as he turned to his apprentice, waiting for him to begin.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden merly nodded his acknowledgement and entered the large door in front of him. His master had used the term labryinth (sp as well?) to describe the room, but it did not look all that intimidating to Jaden. It was your basic military training camp, though the man was sure there were a few surprises he did not know about. The first section of the room as glinted with several lights, hardly any shadows, and two droids. It was your basic not be spotted sequence, but in this evaluation he was sure he would need to draw on the Force to let it guide his emotions. He stood in place, not making a move yet so that he could time himself from his first step, and closed his eyes. Breathing in and out slowly the man began to become focused. He could feel the power he felt on Korriban during his battle flowing through him, the urge to go forward quickly was dismissed by a reassurance that the key to this was patience.
Jaden had tip toed to the first corner in the room. Upon arriving at the corner he placed his back to the wall to peek around, an old military trick for going into unknown areas, which this was. Around the corner a droid was patrolling the area, obviously not equipped with lifeforce scanners or that would make this impossible, and was heading in the apprentice's way. At the corner of the other room a barrel, not very large, sat just in view in front of a shadow, it would be the perfect place to hide, and that is what he wanted the droid to think.
Again he closed his eyes and focused on the barrel. He had been forced to move something using the Force on Korriban during his expedition there, but he was by far a newbie at such things. The barrel's outline flashed before the closed eyes of the man and he imagined a giant fist picking it up. It was lame, he knew, but it was all that he could get to make this work. The barrel tipped over, just as if someone trying to be sneaky had tipped it on accident, and it rolled, guided by Jaden's imaginary hand, away from where Jaden was at.
The droid had turned around at the disturbance and began to look at the shadow, probing it with his blaster. Jaden was not sure whether they had set off the alarm or not as it was silent information passed, but his master could probably sense where he was at, and perhaps even knew Jaden's ploy. As soon as the droid dissapeared around the corner that he suspected Jaden of running around, the apprentice dashed forward and ducked into the shadows. It helped that he was wearing his midnight black sniping outfit, kind of. Jaden waited here for a few moments, waiting to see if his master would speak to him about failure, before he would move on.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua watched the scanners on the monitor. The cameras were watching the entire maze-like structure. He watched as his apprentice had used the barrel to make it from one side of the complex to the other, avoiding all droids so far."Continue, your almost done. Perhaps you will pass on your frist try." He spoke with not emotion at all as he started typing on the keyboard once more. The maze had changed in mid exercise, allowing his apprentice to figure out a way back through an entirely different route."I have changed the Labyrinth, make your way back to me undetected. I have also made the scanners the droids are equiped with sharper, so they may see objects within the dark or light. Do not worry about them seeing through walls, they can only see whats infront of them." He said calmly as he waited to see if his apprentice could handle the sudden change.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden had been actually counting on some kind of rapid change in the excersize, but he was not prepared for that. He would now have to figure out a way to beat the droids, now without using the shadows. Quickly he began to look around the room finding nothing, until his eyes fell on the cieling. One bar hung from the cieling the connected the power in the lights and the doors. His mind began to race with ideas on how to use it, but he quickly became dismil because the bar was nerely a meter above his grasp, and he was almost two meters tall. He could jump, but not that high, at least not aided by something.
He had watched the sith perform amazing ariel stunts during battle, but he was not sure how they did it. He would just have to figure this one out, and fast. Imaging himself with a military style grappling gun Jaden focused, closing his eyes. The bar began to float in front of his eyes, the imaginary grapple holding on to it. With a quick leap, that would activate the grappling array normally, he found himself barely holding on to the bar.
He swung his feet up and began to crawl on the bar. Past the droids he made it to his first obsticle, a light fixture. There were no droids in the hallway, but his landing would be enough to set their sensors off. How to get past it? Jaden's keen intelligence began to formulate another plan, a very dangerous one, but he would have to try. Quickly he hung from his feet, head facing the ground, and undid his belt, then pulled himself back up. He tied the belt around the other end of the bar, after his obsticle, and then swung over on the belt. He heard the belt groan beneath his weight, but it did not give. He had made it to the other side, and could see the clearing now. It would be easy to make it, unless something else happened or waited there for him.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua watched his apprentice make his way through the building flawlessly and he was now approaching the entrance, giving Gra'tua an idea. He wondered how his apprentice would react if something had changed while undergoing the exercise. Gra'tua then started typing quickly, making the opening become a wall, a couple more hallways opening up within the maze, allowing a different exit point.
This time he did not speak he just watched as his apprentice reacted, a probe driod floating just under him, passing quietly as it scanned the area infront of it. As that one left the sight another entered the area, this time staying just under Jaden.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden had almost let a gasp of amazement slip from his mouth, but stopped it instantly and before it erupted. He was not amazed that the room had changed, he was amazed that he could predict the change before it happened. He had been able to do so several times before, but never had he understood why, now it was all coming to him.
There were now several more hallways which would dictate Jaden's movements to the exit, now a lot farther away. Jaden closed himself to his mind, opening himself to the Force, and let it guide his actions, let it take him for a spin. There was a droid right under him, but something inside of him told him to drop to the ground, but do so lightly. He listened to the Force and dropped to the ground, thinking about a quiet landing the whole way down, and it came. The droid did not act as if anything was wrong, and Jaden continued down the hallway. He came to the corner and did the usual peer around, but found nothing there. He had encountered seven of the twenty droids so far, there were still thirteen left in the room, but none of them could be seen.
He had reached the end of the maze, or what he thought was the end, without any more droids or anything. He began to get cocky, something that would cost him, and thought his master had just said that to make him keep wondering to remain in stealth mode the whole time, but as he swung the door open, arrogantly, his arm was singed by a low powered bolt. The bolt was not powerful enough to do any real harm, but it was set just above stun, enough to leave his skin burning and smoking, filling the room with the smell of scorching flesh.
He did not let it bother him at all, in fact he welcomed the pain. Since being a child he had welcomed pain in his life, knowing that it was but a teacher in the ways of life, showing that you are still alive. He did, however, tuck into a roll just as another bolt whizzed right where his face would have been. Apparently they were ordered to shoot to kill, or at least severely injure. Now Jaden was a bit worried, seventeen droids, only one Jaden, but then he realized he had the Force on his side. His roll brought him right up behind one droid, and he kicked it in the neck piece, hard enough to make the droid drop its blaster, a blaster now in the hands of Jaden.
His spine tinged once more, but this time he was ready. He did not tuck into a roll, but waited untilt he sense of danger pricked him instead of prickled and pivoted around, a completey three hundred and sixty degree pivot, and fired a bolt without even looking, relying on the Force to guide him. The bolts were set high enough, and aimed well enough, that it had blasted enough of a hole in the center chest piece of the droid to make it malfunction and shut down.
This mission was about stealth, but not always could you remain hidden from view. Sometimes you just had to take your enemies out as quietly and as quickly as possible, something Jaden knew from experience. Jaden figured that three more shots could be fired and hit something metallic before he would fail the training. The same manuvers guided Jaden against the droid until all but one remained, one that apparently knew that out of three hits there had been two. Its command was aim to kill and aim to make Jaden fail, so he turned his blaster just enough to appear to be aiming at Jaden, but really be firing on the metallic barrel behind him.
The bolt fired and Jaden rolled out, bringing his blaster up to fire before realizing the droid hadn't aimed at him. The sense of danger had not even prickled his spine, yet he rolled for some reason. The droids blaster was at his side but dismay filled Jaden's Force aura, though he could not understand why, until he caught a glimpse of the bolt. It was as if time had slowed down, or Jaden had become faster---perhaps both. Though blaster bolts flew at several thousand meters per second this one had been slow enough for Jaden to see clearly it trajectory, the barrel. Though the bolts moved so fast Jaden had lept just in time, aiming his body perfectly, and caught the bolt in the leg, firing a shot that disabled the droid before nearly screaming out in pain. The bolt had singed a hole more then three quarters of the way in his leg, and it hurt, but had completed the mission.
Only two meters away was the door, the one that was finally the true exit, so to speak. Everything was simulated, the pain was real, imbedded into his brain via the visor over his eyes, but the scorch marks would not be there for real, they were part of the training. Jaden knew this, but still the pain was there as if it were all real. His mind urged him to go forward, to embrace the pain and use it, and he obliged its wishes, finally making it to the door. When he did the room became nothing but black squares with white lines, the regular of a simulation room after completion. He waited inside, waiting for his master to come in and tell him how he had done.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua watched as his apprentice made his way through the course. He also watched his apprentice trigger three of the droids alarms, but nuetralize them quickly. It was Jaden's mission to remain unseen, but he failed that test. All in all he did complete the course, but not as directed to do. It would be an easy judgement for Gra'tua on how the test when.
Gra'tua stepped down the three steps and entered the simulation chamber, standing infront of his apprentice, looking him up and down before speaking."Jaden, you have successfully set off three of the twenty guard alarms. You disobeyed an order to stay hidden from your enemies, and you distroyed three of the units like I told you not to do." He said a tad harshly as he turned to the room walking a few meters within before turning back to Jaden and speaking once more."But you aslo completed the mission of getting out alive. You confronted the changes and used to force to guide your actions. With the changes that I made, you overcame and adapted to your enviorment, making sure you completed the task no matter the cost and for that you pass this training exercise." He said calmly as he lightened up on his attitude before leaving the chamber.
Gra'tua walked up the steps and proceeded to the doors to leave the area, only stopping infront of them to wait for his apprentice. Many thoughts of his promising apprentice racing through his head as he thought of the next training exercise.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden did not react to his master basically telling him he had failed in the mission, but he was going to pass him anyway. If Jaden was to fail then he was to fail, and nothing should stop that, not his use of the Force or anything. Nobody in their right mind would have the man beat, lightsaber to his neck, and say 'Oh, well since you used the Force I will let you live', but then again Jaden did not want to have to do it again.
He was not only confused, and a tad angry, about his master telling him he head failed, but he was curious as well. Curious as to how he had expected him to remain completely hidden when the droids were waiting for him to open the door, curious as to how he had set off three alarms when he had been hit in the leg to stop the third one. Which reminded him that the pain he had felt was absolutely gone, and there was no mark. He had liked the simulation chamber only because the effects were so much more real then he had ever experienced before, so much more painful to though.
Now he walked after his master, staying always a few paces behind him, and they were exiting, into the light of outside. Jaden wondered what would come next in his training, what else he would have to do.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua continued on, knowing what his apprentice was thinking. It didn't matter what he thought, in the end it would become clear, but since his apprentice was confused about this, he would tell him this once why he had passed."Do not think that I will pass you just because you used to force. It's the fact that when you had a change of area. You adapted and got the job done. I did not expect you to remain hidded forever, I had to test you. Most that try fail when they are detected because they give in to failure. You on the other hand continued, minimizing your awareness to the other droids and completed the mission." He explained as he turned twords the excersize room.
He would have his apprentice undergo a normaly body breaking fitness test.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden followed behind his master in utter silence. He was too angry to speak for fear of saying something out of sheer anger blasted arrogance, and he was not ready to die. He had let arrogance and anger overwhelm his thoughts once before, but never again would he. His thoughts floated back to that day on Korriban, the energy pulsing through his veins, his body going insane with spasms.
His mind snapped back into the present as he felt a twinge run down his spine. He reached for his blaster and drew it out before his eyes were even open all the way, and they opened to reveal the head of the blaster pointing at the back of his masters head, his finger on the trigger.
Immediatly he withdrew the blaster and spoke, "Sorry master, was distracted, thought there was danger, must have just been about to run into you."
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua turned quickly to his apprentice, holding his hand out."Your weapons." He said a bit agitated that his apprentice had pointed a weapon at him."You will not be needing them for this exercise." He said sternly as he waited for his apprentice to hand over the weapons, droids were setting up the traing course as they waited.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: Sorry for my absence. It was unavoidable.
IC:
Jaden looked at the training area set up for him. By sheer looks it was intimidating, but nothing he couldn't handle. There were a few areas where he would be forced to sprint, there were a few areas that he would be forced to lift things out of his way, and there were a few areas to test his ability to leap, crawl, and even climb. It seemed like a challenge, and Jaden loved challenges. He began to monitor the room with his eyes, looking for the fastest way around the course, but he could not see any one way that would be faster. His master was, apparently, very skilled at making sure that there was no way to outthink or beat his training.
Admiration of sorts flooded the Force, one day Jaden hoped to hold that amount of wisdom, that sheer power that came from mind and body, but for now he was a mere apprentice, still learning the way to start the path. He would wait, wait for his master to tell him to go, wait for the droids to finish what they were doing, he would wait.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC: That is alright, we all have our times of absence.
IC: Gra'tua nodded as the droid gave to go ahead."The course is ready, if you are to slow in anyone area, deadly blaster shots will be fired from the walls of the area, so I recommend to complete the course as quick as possible." He said calmly, uping the challenge of the course. He did not tell the apprentice how long he would have to complete each area. He just gave him a look that said begin.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: I will be hitting another inactivity spell for a day or two while I set a few things up for GotF. Sorry about that, I really am, and I will do this to the best of my ability when I return.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden reviewed the course before moving in, just as he had when the first arrived near the room. Still he could see no one way that would be faster, but he did find something that would be to his helping. There was one way, and one way only, to complete the training. It was not an obvious way, but Jaden's keen eye had found the three small walls that appeared only at the right angle that would stop him from clearing the course. His gut churned as he took an unspoken step forward to begin his task. The thought of several deadly blasters aimed directly at him at all times was nerve racking, at the least.
Showing no sign of fear or weakness Jaden begin in the course. Section one was a course of sheer speed and agility. In the area were several things he would need to jump over, while still running fast, things he would need to quickly roll under, some to crawl under, and then there were some that would require him to climb them as fast as possible. A small smile faded from his face as he leapt over the first obsticle, replaced by a look of sheer pain. He was only seven seconds into the training and he had already injured himself, pulled something. Every ounce of his body pleaded with him to stop and rest, restore some of the muscle he had tore, but he knew he could not.
Ignoring the pain the man kept going, though a tad bit slower. Jumping was beginning to get harder and harder. The last obsticle had been knocked over by Jaden's leg, causing him to fall to the ground, and the inmistakable sound of the powering up of lasers filled the room. He had one area left in this section one before his time would start over for the next section, but could he make it? His mind willed him to stop, but something inside of him told him to leap, and as high as he could, forget the climbing. His insides had led him down the right path so many times, they would not fail him this time.
Those were his last thoughts as he lept up the wall, and found his gut had failed him. With the injury he could not leap high enough to make the clearing and he hit the wall hard, after grabbing the rope hanging down from the wall. The sound of bolts being fired filled the room and Jaden readied himself to blink out of existence, but it never came. Smoldering wood was around him, but only in the form of circle dots where the bolts had hit, forming a circle around him. It was his one and only warning shot of the section. The apperntice pulled himself up over the wall, using the rope, and fell off the wall onto the other side. He was in the dead spot now, recharging himself before moving on. A countdown timer on the wall told him he had ten seconds to catch his breath, and those ten seconds were fading quickly.
The timer still read '3' when the former General left the neutral area to the second area of the training course. This time he was in a section full of stuff he would have to duck under, combat, or any other means to get across. Not even another seven seconds into the room and Jaden was almost decapitated by a swinging gullet. Luckily for him his gut feeling was still partially working. He had his doubts about trusting his gut as he rolled out of the way, but he remembered being told that to not trust one's self was to not trust the Force itself, and that was one thing Creol would need.
The other sections went similar to the second, though three more warning shots had been fired off. When he reached the end of the course, after taking the easiest part last, his body ached, he was out of breath, and his leg was searing with pain, but he stood tall and proud. Despite the pain he had tapped into some unknown reserve to keep his body going, his own fear of death. He had completed the course in two minutes and forty three seconds, quick, but was it quick enough?
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC: It is alright, you do not have to apologize for being absent, just let me know that you will be so that I may prepare for it.
IC:Gra'tua watched Jaden carefully as he entered the first section of the course. Immediatly the young Inquisitor could see that something had happened to Jaden, it was slowing him down by only a fraction of a second but it was enough to notice. Gra'tua watched as the apprentice tapped into the Force, making himself continue, only to be fired at as he hung on the rope. Luckily for Jaden it was the warning shots.
In the next section, Jaden completed it flawlessly, with the exceptions of a few slips from his injury. Gra'tua walked down the side of the obsticals, watching closely as his apprentice had exicuted the course swiftly and skillfully. At the end, Jaden stood, setting only four warning shots before he exited.
Gra'tua stood infront of his apprentice, the small sensors on the top of his head slightly twitching as they scanned the apprentice, the smell and the slight spasms of his very being."Your leg muscle, its tworn. We will make a quick stop at the infirmary to get it taken care of before we move on." He said with an almost surprised tone in his voice as he looked the apprentice up and down with his black eyes."Congradulations, hardly anyone completes that course on their first try, it usually takes three or four before it can be done. You on the other hand completed it on your first, even with an injury that would prevent most." He said giving his apprentice the slight congradulations that he deserved before moving onto another lesson.
"Now moving on to the pain you experienced, I will teach you something now that you must not spread onto anyone else, it is for you and the followers of the school of pain only." Yes, he was sharing a secret from his school, but it was one that many sith came to find on their own, even without the schools teachings."When you experience pain in your travels, it can be used as fuel, infact if you dwell deep within the teachings of the school of pain, you can turn your pain into someone, or something's pain." He said emotionlessly, his face blank as he turned to leave twords the infirmary."So instead of you fealing it, your opponent will, please take the time to learn that skill, it will prove most useful in your travels." He said sternly as he exited the room, the doors spreading automatically, allowing them through.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden made a quick mental note to visit what he came to call the library later on in the day, once he was done here. He had heard once of a man using his pain and the Force to keep himself alive, and Jaden had just used his pain to fuel his energy, but to make his pain be able to hurt others and leave him completely "unharmed" that was something new. He would take his master's advice on this matter and learn this, but he had other things to do first, like finish his training.
It had been nearly three weeks since Jaden had heard about using his pain to hurt others, and he was getting rather good at it. Though he did have a lot of unaccounted for injuries his master asked no questions, and Jaden figured that the Inquisitor knew what he was up to. The apprentice's assumption proved true this day.
"I see you have been working on what I told you and what we have been training. This is wise," his master told him that day before they got into the actual training.
Jaden simply nodded and waited for the rest of his training to be finished. He had learned so much in the Force, now he wanted to begin his path down learning things like Inquisitor Strategy, and the stuff that makes Inquisitors what they are.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC:I am so very sorry for my absence, I had an ROTC drill meet and I had no time to post my absence.
IC: Inquisitor Gra'tua came to liking his apprentice, he had shown much promise to the Empire, but now it was time to begin the real training. It would be tougher than anything he had faced so far. In the Courts of the Inquisitorius is where Gra'tua was waiting.
The Nautolan stood in the main lobby of the courts, waiting for his apprentice. He had on his black outer robes today, covering his body as well as head-tails. The lobby seemed darker today, as if the lights were dimmed to a very low pitch. It made it hard to see the dark figure in the middle of the room as he waited.
As his apprentice approached, using the force to sense his presence, the Nautolan spoke."Welcome to the Courts of the Inquisitorius, this is where we will spend our time in the comming weeks. That is if you are still interested in this order. I have also come to a decision. I will not teach you all that there is in this path if you are still unsure, but if you are positive that this is the order you wish to join then I will teach you all that I know." As the young Inquisitor spoke his voice flowed smoother than usual, it was as if this place had calmed his mind and allowed him clear thought.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden gave it a quick thought. Over the past few weeks he had been giving a great deal of thought to what he wanted to do. It was now time for that final decision, and it was an easy one. The Inquisitors had bred someone like his master, and that was what was needed in this Empire now. With the fluctuation of leadership in this era strong sith would be needed to sort through the rift raft and make sure the Empire stayed strong.
"My choice, and destiny, lies with the Inquisitors, master."
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua nodded in approval as his apprentice made the final decision."Then let us begin." He said commandingly as he turned and walked to his left, the outer cloak swaying behind each step. Gra'tua took a couple steps up and small staircase and stopped infront of what seemed to be a class room door.
The young Inquisitor then waved his hand infront of it and it slid open, allowing him entrance to an area where a select few sith were taking what seemed to be an exam. Gra'tua stood at the door waiting for his apprentice to enter behind him, he wanted to show the Human being, what the entrance to the Inquisitors Exam would look like.
OOC: I am going to have a word with the Emporer or the Grand Inquisitor about opening a school for the inquisitors.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden made sure that he was in step with his master, but at the pace of military respect, three paces back and two to the left. The cloak of his master swayed with his sharp left turn, and seemed to float in the air under the non-existent breeze. Jaden himself still looked like a young boy, but it was not fear that gripped him, only a heightened sense of things. The boots that he wore now were not those that his image would show later on, they were like charcoal, ready to start the fire within. His eyes lit up, blue--like a deep ocean ready to be evaporated and replaced with the red.
As they approached the door excitment bore a hole in the man's stomach. He would finally get to where his goal led him, the Inquisitors, and even closer to his final goal of Sith Acolyte.
"And what do we do in here?" Jaden asked, the curiosity forming his words.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua turned to his apprentice and spoke in a low tone."When in this room you will keep your voice down." He commanded as he turned back to the sith that were taking the exam."This is where you will be taking the entrance exam to the Inquisitors, but that comes later. For now I must prepare you for the exam." He said as he turned to the door and left the room, heading to a class room just across the hall, Survival was writen on the door.
He waved his reptilian hand across the door opening it and leading his apprentice inside."For three weeks you will learn survival, the next three will be spent on interigation, and another three with be politics. Over the course of these nine weeks you will learn everything you will need to know to pass the exam. He said boldly as he left his apprentice in the room, he would undergo his first day of Survival to day.
The instructer turned to what seemed to be a new student to the Class of survival."Welcome take a seat, we are just beggining Snow and Iceland survival today, I hope you are ready for it." The instructer said calmly, pointing to Jaden's seat. These classes would be difficult and would push Jaden's limits.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden stepped foward into the classroom, peering at the desk that was to be his. It was raggedy, torn, worthless, the same as Jaden was as he entered the classroom. That desk was the beginning to something great, to something that would be a new life, it was a symbol to what Jaden was leaving behind. Anger nor frustration filled the Force, only anxiety. It was now that Jaden would be starting. He was proud, but the other students, though maintaining their physical resolve, flooded the Force with laughter and mockery. Still no anger nor frustration from the young sith, not even a slight acknowledgment of the mockery.
"Survival," the instructor continued, "is key to being an Inquisitor. There may be times when you are faced with something not of your liking, or of surprise...."
The class droned on for seven days, each day some new element introduced, and no test, physical or mental, had presented itself. The young apprentice had entered the room, ready to hear another speech, to find a note on the databoard.
"All students to the S.I.M room"
A smile fell across the face of the soon to be Inquisitor. It was the day to test himself, his knowledge, and his resolve. A test that would be passed with flying colors. It took nearly an hour for them to explain what was going to happen during this time, but it was pretty simple. Each eight hours a new setting would come to the simulation in no set order. There would be no guess as to what would come next for the first three, no preperations to be made. Each student was equipped with a survival pack--a pack that Jaden would not use.
The first setting was, as the first class, was ice and cold. Jaden donned his inner robing, as well as an exterior cloak, and that was it. His survival pack had a heated element inside of it, that would last two hours, but in a real situation one would not need that. Before moving anywhere the former military personal leader discarded the survival pack, leaving it to freeze. The cold wind filled his lungs, the icy shards slicing away at him, but he did not forget his resolve or training. Within hours all but two in the class had used their packs to make their shelters, but not Jaden. No, he weathered the elements, even the blizzard to come. Only the most needed and irreplacable organs were kept warm in the Force. His feet burned from the snow on the ground, the wind tearing at his face. He was wrapped in his cloak as deeply as possible, but still he was frozen, still he continued on.
At the turn of eight hours precisely the setting changed immediatly. The air became warm, the snow turned to brown grains of sand, the image mirrored the outskirts of Tattooine. The warmth was welcome by the camp, but warmth was only for a short while. An hour, or more, went by and the warmth turned to blistering heat. The internal celebration returned to suffering. Even Jaden had to admit that the survival pack was sounding good now, but it would be no use to him. In the real world you would not always have a survival pack, and even if you did there would be a time when you didn't and it was best to be prepared, even for the most unlikely.
Two more settings floated through the simulation, two students perished. It was survive or die, and they had not survived. The world was a hard place, and to train for that took reality. At the end each person, Jaden included, exited the room broken, bleeding, exhausted, but only one held their head high, only one welcomed the challenge. The others grumbled past, but Jaden stopped short the entrance. His master stood, watching him from the corner of the room, and Jaden would wait for himself to be addressed.
Jaden Mustik
((Is this going to continue or am I just left without a master?))
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
[[Please forgive me, I have just recently moved.. I will try and post now, but if I do not have time please forgive me.]]
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua watched the various simulations as they passed, watching as Jaden endured each as they came. It was amazing how he had passed them all with out the survival pack that was provided in the begining, most would not last an hour without it, but Jaden survived sixteen. As Jaden approached him, he turned to speak."Jaden, you have done well, but it was foolish not to keep the supplies that were given. Although you had completed the exercise, you have paid the cost of bodily damage." The damage was not visible now, but it would be in a day or two.
Because he had been so careless, he had scarred his lung tissue in the cold, suffered second degree burns to his flesh in the heat. Gra'tua turned twords the door, opening it and heading to the next class room, the title on the door read "INTERIGATION/TORTURE" He opened the door and waited for Jaden to enter.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: Just hadn't seen any leaving notifications or anything.
IC: Jaden could feel his lungs starting to ache and knew his master's words were true, but he did not have time to deal with that right now. The next class was Interrigation and Torture, something that sounded very fun. The door to the room opened, and Jaden saw the raggedy desk filled by another youth, about his age, but with a less hopeful look and Force aura to him. The desk reserved to him was third row, which meant, to Jaden, that he had done more then exeptional.
"What is today's lesson Master?"
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC: I know, I had just moved and didnt have time to post my absence, Please forgive.
Gra'tua turned to his apprentice as he spoke, asking him what todays lesson would be."Did you not read the sign on the door?" He said calmly as he turned to leave, the Instructor was approaching.
The instructor wore a blood splattered, white medical apron and had a couple grotesque looking tools in his hands, the metal was covered in red liquid with little peices of what looked to be flesh."Good afternoon, I see your new to the class. For the next couple weeks you will learn out to torture and interigate beings like this one over here." As he spoke he pointed to a less fortunate human that was strapped in a chair.
All of the specimans were prisoners of the Sith empire that had betrayed or given information to others about the empire. This would be there punishment, they would become a students play thing.
Jaden Mustik
A sinicle smile crossed Jaden's face. He would get to play with torture, and for class even. Even in his fighting classes in the military he did not expect to have this much fun, and he only hoped it would be up to his expectations. He took his seat in the third row and began to take in the words of the instructor, as well as the Force Auras of those around him.
The three weeks was nothing compared to what the last class had been. If there was ever a time Jaden could say he had what normal beings would call fun it was in this class. He had learned various techniques to interrogate, to torture, and to even take information from one's mind using the Force. All these techniques, when put together, would make for a deadly killer, and a lethal man. Each pressure point, each artery, each entrance to the brain, all were etched in Jaden's head, all regarding the most commonly tortured and interrogated sentients in the galaxy.
While this class was fun it flew by and at the door waited Jaden's master before the class was to begin.
"Time to go to the next class?" despite trying to hide it the dissapointment could be heard in Jaden's voice.
He did not understand why he even asked the question, for he already knew the answer. Perhaps it was hope he was wrong, or just a reaction. Either way the answer would not be what he was looking for.
OOC: Sorry this is shorter, but there is not much detail you can go into with an NPC that will make an interesting, non god modded story.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC:Tis alright, That is why I did it. To see what you could produce.
Gra'tua nodded, he didn't even have to speak this time, instead he turned and headed down the hall. It was a rather long walk this time as he stopped infront of the class."This is where you will find the ability to be stealthy even in the open." He said quietly as he opened the door and entered, almost dissapearing into thin air as he did, or so it seemed.
As the Instructor walked foward Gra'tua nodded to him and said a few words that could only be heard between the two. As he turned to leave, he did not look at his apprentice, only the door way ahead. Once gone the door closed behind him and the Instructor approached Jaden.
"Hello, and welcome to the class." He said appearing behind Jaden. The light was dimmed, allowing very little light."In this class you will learn how to blend in to your surroundings, whether it be a crowd, the night, or the day." Yes there was many ways to shield you appearence or self in the brightness of light, although they are difficult to learn.Shall we begin?" He said in a slightly cold tone twords Jaden, it seemed the words his master had spoken were to Jaden's disadvantage. Gra'tua had told the instructor that Jaden was excelling at his training so far, so he would like it to be more challenging and with that, the training was about to become a sort of hell.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: Ah, so it is time to show you how a real RPer should react to this then.
IC: Jaden did not enjoy the tone of voice by the instructor, but he knew that he was not in a position to correct the tone of the man. Jaden had excelled so far in his training, and let that all go to his head, corrupting him, and setting him up to fail.
"We will start with darkness. Your appearance will define your ability to hide in surroundings."
Sith had always been known for wearing their dark black robes to instill fear in those around them, so blending in the darkness would not be hard. Jaden, a cocky smile on his face, waited for the instructor to turn his back before sending his body into the corner. There Jaden waited, thinking he was completely visible, cockiness even more present now.
"Not good enough, I can still see you. Perhaps you should think about concealing things like weapons."
What little light was shed in the room had reflected off Jaden's blaster, a weapon he carried with him everywhere. It was a careless mistake, but one that he felt a normal person wouldn't have recognized. Now he was grumpy preparing to best the instructor at any cost. The apprentice rolled out of the corner into another dark area of the room, keeping care to cover his face with his hood and his blaster completely.
"Let's see that old man find me now, ignorant fool," Jaden thought to himself.
To his surprise he was not spoken to but ripped out of the corner through an invisible binding, the Force.
"Perhaps," the instructor said, the fury blazing in his eyes, "you should be mindful of your thoughts.....AND prepare for someone Force sensitive. Arrogant fools will not make it in the Inquisitors. Now try again."
Jaden's eyes crinshed as he hit the wall. Anger now blazing in his eyes the student stood, trying as hard as possible to keep his head held high. Trying it once more he hid in the darkness, this time drawing his aura deep within himself, and again he failed.
The class went on like this for three weeks....failure. Not once had Jaden completely impressed his instructor, or so his instructor had said. There were a few times where the man was hard fought for words, but still found something to complain about.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
OOC:Please forgive my comming absence. I will try and be on tomarrow to post, but I simply do not have time today, I just wanted to tell you so I wouldnt leave without warning.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua stood in the door way at the end of the three weeks, the final class of the period. As he stood there, the class ending its final test, the instructor approached him and they stepped aside to where no others could hear."How has he faired in these three weeks? I know he had been a cocky one, I do hope you have ended that." The young inquisitor spoke clearly and boldly to this man, knowing he had done his job.
The Instructor nodded, a small smile of satasfactory upon his face as if he had completed in lowering the students streak of thinking falsely about his capabilities."Yes, I have done all I can to break him of that deathly habit. Though in the course of his training he did show some very promising attribrutes, my work is done, it is now in your hands to lead him in the right path." With the words of the instructor ending, he faded away, usuing his ability to hide among the darkness of the room.
Gra'tua turned to his apprentice, satisfied with the results the Instructor had given him. He approached Jaden slowly and gracefully, as if he were floating beneath his outer cloak."Your Instructer has filled me in on your training here, it seems you have excelled beyond most, but that does not mean you cant climb higher. It is now time to put your training to the test. I have come up with a series of obsticals that will test all three points of your training." He said boldly as he turned to leave the room. He started out of the door, knowing his apprentice was following. He soon came upon a briefing room just down the hall and entered, sitting at the end of a very long table, waiting for his apprentice to do the same before he would fill him in on this 'mission'.
OOC:I do hope you will forgive me for this absence.
Jaden Mustik
Jaden smiled blankly back at his master. Did this mean that the training was almost over? That Jaden was to be accepted into the order should he pass this test? So many questions rolled through his mind as he looked over the course. Over the last three months Jaden's eyes had turned into scouting machines, his mind into nothing but a giant strategy book. He took in every shadow, ever small detail that could hinder his operations, and even took into account some things that were not there but likely to occur. When he turned back to his master his face and emotions were blank. Though he had been sure he would do well in the course he had learned not to let cockiness get the best of him again. He was now a self disciplined man that knew he could make mistakes, though unlikely as it was it was possible.
"Is there anything I should know before entering this test?"
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua nodded, his head-tails swaying lightly as he did. He booted up the imaging machine in the middle of the table with the force, allowing him to hit the right switches when nessecary."You are going to be left in the barren waste land of the Tattooine desert. Of course you will have a pack given to you as standard survival equipment. During this exersize you will have to trudge your way back to what ever civilization you can find and send a transmission to this ship." He said calmly as he summoned a droid, it placed a card with the transmission numbers to a small galactic cruiser."It will arive and pick you up, but one more thing, In this desert you will face creatures, humaniods, and other things among them." He spoke coldly to his apprentice a slight twinge in his voice as he spoke of the 'other things'. As he finished speaking he rose from his seat, his eyes still focused on the hologram of Tattooine."Immediatly after you will be sent to the Frost bitten terrain of Hoth, where the battle of Hoth had taken place many years ago. Once again you will deal with the terrain and inhabitants until you can reach civilization and contact that cruiser. Any questions?" He said calmly as he looked from the holograms to his apprentices, a somewhat cold stare into his eyes.
Jaden Mustik
OOC: I greatly apologize for my absence. I am going to write this up a few posts at a time to make it better and longer. Again I am sorry for my very long absence but I had a million things on my plate.
IC: Jaden fell to the ground out of the ship with a thud. The sand, while at times soft, was no comfort as his body hit the ground. The sun was of little importance right now, but he knew that later on it would be. The trial course had almost killed him before not using his pack, and the Sith was smart enough to toss his pride away and use it this time. He was sure that civilization would be at least a hundred kilometers away, if not more, and the beasts roaming the tattooine deserts were known to be terrible.
This was pushing the things to the edge of survival training and actually wanting one to perish in their act. Jaden would return from Hoth a Sith, or not at all, that was the point in this test. Still his mind was focused on the Inquisitors and he would do all that he could to make it to that group, possibly even perish doing so.
It was near nightfall when Jaden was dropped off so that he had to make it through at least one night out in this terrible desert wasteland. Reaching out with the Force Jaden felt a big area of the darkside a few kilometers away, but thought it merely his master watching him on how he was doing and paid no attention to it, a grave mistake on his part.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
[[That is quite alright, I just thank you for not leaving my apprenticeship or the site.]]
Jaden Mustik
Jaden made the few kilometer trip in a few minutes. Those were the only few minutes in his whole journey where he would not experience trouble. Once he arrived to the spot of darkness he felt in the Force he looked around to find his master. It was strange that the close Jaden got that his master had remained in the same place. Finally the area of darkness began to move, get closer, and spread out at the same time. Now there were several other areas where the darkness loomed around Jaden and only then did he realize that he was in grave danger.
His lightsaber hung from his belt, and he quickly called it to his hand. The weightlessness of the blade was still foreign in the young Sith's hands, but now his life depended on how well he would use the weapon. From the left side a Kath Hound jumped over to attack Jaden, who ducked to the ground and rolled out from under it; only to see the face of another hound coming at him. His purple blade was brought up and across the neck of the beast and finally one of the dark areas disappeared into nothingness.
For nearly three hours, though it felt like much longer, Jaden battled the hounds. After finally defeating the last one Jaden fell to the ground, exhausted. His entire body was covered in scratches and broken bones, and his lightsaber hung limply in his hand as he hit the ground. Had Jaden been the normal man he was two years ago he would not have been able to survive, but he had taught himself to heal with the Force. The bones in his legs and arms fell back together with a squishy feeling, and the cuts slowly healed themselves to scars.
It was twelve hours from the last hound's death to the time that Jaden took another step towards his goal. Around the bend lay another danger, another fight for his life, and another reason why he would continue on.
Jaden Mustik
Knowing that danger lay just around the corner still Jaden continued on. His lightsaber was held in his hand for when something came around the corner at him unexpectedly. It was not long before that time came as Jaden brought his lightsaber up to block a bolt fired just to the left of him. He didn't even have to look to see what had fired it because the traditional tusken raid call came caressing the air to cause pain in Jaden's ears.
It was much easier to get rid of the one tusken raider then it was to get rid of the Kath Hounds.....at least when there was only one of them. Six more of them came up behind their fallen comrade. By the tone of their calls they were very angry and began firing wildly towards Jaden. Only two of the bolts hit him before the last raider had fallen.
The only good thing about knowing that the Tusken Raiders were around was that they were always close to some kind of civilization. Seven kilometers later as night was falling over the land the civilization came into view. Jaden had faced several more raiders and another hound during his last seven kilometers, but still he showed only a scratch and many scars. His stomach ached from being so hungry and all the food in his power pack was gone. The three day trudge to civilization had taken its toll on the man, but he had made it.
After finding the first people awake Jaden sent the transmission to the ship. The people offered him a place to rest until the ship arrived.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
The Inquisitor sat in the briefing room where he had left Jaden for his final test for the Inquisitors. Three days he had waited, to finally recieve the transmission from his apprentice. Shortly after he had recieved it, the Inquisitor left the room and started for the hangar.
He started down the pathway to his personal transport. He had the crew okay his ship and exited the hangar. The Inquisitor made his way to Tatooine, where the transmission had been sent from. As he made his way through space on the two day trip, he meditated the succession rate of the next drop and also gave the apprentice a time to rest and regain his strength.
He landed on Hoth on the third day of travel, just outside of the small town that Jaden had arrived at. Making his way into town, he was guided to a man that had arrived just three days earlier."Jaden get your things, its time to move on to the next drop." He said with his familiar Nautolan voice.
Jaden Mustik
As Jaden hit the ground of the barren wasteland known as the planet Hoth he realized that this would be so much different then the barren wasteland of Tattooine. Instead of sweating from every pore in his body he was shivering over every inch of his body. Instead of trying to take clothes off to keep himself cool the younger man was reaching into his bag to find as many of the clothes that were in the bag to keep him warm.
In his survival class he had learned to use the Force to heat his body and cool it, and the best way to do that was to focus on an area that held the most heat and distribute it evenly throughout the body. His head was, of course, the most obvious choice, but it was not the best choice. Focusing on an area that he rarely focused on, and one that had not been used for anything outside the necessities in almost two years, he distributed the heat throughout his body.
Again he got the looming sense of danger, but know he was not eager to fight as he was back on Tattooine. Now he was actually feeling fear because the beasts on Hoth were much larger then those on the desert planet. The only good thing about fighting was that it would get his blood pumping, in turn keeping him warm.
Jaden Mustik
As figured by Jaden the second his feet hit the reverse desert he was in danger. A large white beast could barely be seen coming at him. The snow was pounding down, making view ability only two or so meters. Immediately Jaden reached for his lightsaber, but didn't have time to ignite it before a furry claw came across the left side of his face. The frozen Popsicle of a young man was thrown for several meters.
When he hit the ground he had lost all feeling in the lower half of his body, and the first thing that floated into his mind was a neck breaking or spinal fracture. Within a few seconds though the feeling was back and Jaden was on his feet again. Another claw came at him but this time he ducked out of the way. He sent his legs straight at the beast's knees with as much force as possible, and that did nothing but anger him.
The snow was making grasping anything hard, and before Jaden knew it he was being hurled into the air again. This time when he hit the ground he heard the bone in his left leg snap into two or three pieces. The monster was moving in on him fast, ready to make the kill that he hungered for. Jaden could not focus due to the pain and temperature, and he just lay his head down to pretend he was already dead. Just a few feet away the lightsaber lay in the snow, waiting to be used.
What minimal sunlight that there was reflected off of the saber, right back to the beast and catching its attention. The apprentice himself could not help but smile as the beast picked up the lightsaber. Though Jaden was too distracted to heal a broken bone, the Force was still with him and he used it to throw a small ice chunk at the activation button. The purple glowing blade ignited right through the neck of the beast and then collapsed to the ground as it fell.
There were two good things about a collapsed three meter tall ice beast. The first being that there was food right there, though how he was going to drag it several meters to the cave was beyond him. The second, and by far the best thing, was that the fur of the beast could be used for a blanket and coat in the frozen wasteland. From the thermal imagery map that came in the survival kit there was a civilization seven kilometers away. It would be nearly a seven day journey, but tonight was rest and relaxation.
Nine Days Later
The trip into the town took two more days then Jaden originally thought. He had ran into a lot of trouble over the last seven days, including falling through ice into freezing cold water, another of those gorilla beasts as he called them, and losing his survival pack of food water and the map in the cold water.
Now that he was here every person in the village could tell that he had been out in the cold battling for his life. His face was covered in hair for he had not shaven in nearly two weeks, there was crusted blood in his beard, on his face, and everywhere that could be seen. His clothes were tore, his leg still in a fast made sling.
"Water, and a communicator please," Jaden's raspy voice barely made it to the man leaning over him.
Before passing back out Jaden took a drink of the water and sent the communication to the ship. He did not know how much more of this training he had to endure, hopefully this was his final test, but he knew how much more he could endure physically and right now that was not much.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Gra'tua, the young Inqusisitor, had stayed in the village that Jaden would be retrieved at for the nine day period. As he recieved the message on his communicator he smiled, know that his apprentice had completed his journey. This was a great moment in Gra'tua's eyes as he stood and left the tavern, walking twords the building that Jaden had been brought into.
Gra'tua's head-tails were covered by his hood, keeping them away from the cold air, and freezing temprature. He entered the building with his arms in his robes, as a young lady approached the dark figure and took him to Jaden without a word. Gra'tua looked the man up and down, his body bruised and broken from the trials."You have survived the final test. You have proven yourself an elite of the sith, and also have earned my respect. I will push twords your graduation, as well as entrance into the Courts of the Inquisitorius. He said calmly as he had the young lady summon some men to bring the broken body to his ship.
After all the preperations were made, the two left Hoth, and returned to the temple, As the docked, medical engineers took Jaden to the Infirmary for recovery. After he was healed, Gra'tua would take him to the Graduation hall.
