My friend writes an article about it every week for a newspaper and I hear it sucks but is still addicting for some reason.

It doesn't really suck. I like it. I think it would be addicting for people because it is different than any other reality show on television. I wanted to sign up for the new one (and I figured I had a very good chance of making it to at least the finals because I do something that most people don't do, race go-karts and cars semi-professionally) but my smart side of my brain convinced me it isn't worth missing the schoolwork.

Reality TV isn't about what makes you unique, it's what makes you the most stereotypical. They love drama, drinkers, and people with problems that are only ready to burst.
