Kindrid Nokah
|
Dantooine, the former home of the Jedi Order, was peaceful. The wind was barely a breeze and the sun was dying down. Kindrid's eyes were closed as he listened to the sounds around him, focusing on his surroundings. He was leaned against the trunk of one of the many blba trees that covered Dantooine and thought about his past. His father had kept him hidden from the great things that the galaxy had to offer, but not anymore. This was his new life. As a Sith.
He opened his eyes and slightly pushed off the tree, slowly walking away. He crouched down and felt the lush grass against his fingers. He sat down and placed both of his hands on the grass, slowly lowering his gaze towards the ground. He remained still and silent while he waited for his fellow Sith to meet him.

High Prophet Crozeus
|
Crozeus was amusing himself on the way to the duel across the boring planet by flying - literally by manipulating the air and pushing himself off the ground and pushing himself along the ground with the Force. It was not long before he felt the presence of the apprentice he was asked to duel, the apprentice of none other than his former Master, Colonel General Celestial. When Crozeus was trained by him, Celestial was only a Major, and Crozeus was pleased Celestial now held true authority in the Army - his skills were clearly being recognised.
He flew right up to the apprentice, making himself small in the Force. When he was levitating just behind him, he ignited a lightsaber, making himself known.

Kindrid Nokah
|
Kindrid smiled slightly as he heard a lightsaber behind him ignite and he flipped forward, igniting his own blade. He landed in a crouch, the cerulean blade singeing the tips of the green grass beneath him, causing a light smoke beginning to rise and blow away in the wind. In one quick moment, he leaped into the air and dashed at Crozeus, diagonally slicing at the left side of his neck while still above him.

High Prophet Crozeus
|
There were no words spoken between the two. The apprentice leaped at the Prophet with great ferocity, a fast and powerful attack that would have quickly made an end of a soldier or droid.
Crozeus, however, was neither a solider nor a droid. He was a Sith, and a darn powerful one at that. While the apprentice was in the air, Crozeus flung the Force at him with the power of over 1500 Newtons. Kindrid was smashed into the tree which he had been leaning casually on moments before. Crozeus calmly circled around until he was facing the tree and then waited while the crumpled apprentice got up and determined another move.

Kindrid Nokah
|
Kindrid rolled onto his back and rose to his feet, this time not immediately jumping at the man. Crozeus, a Prophet, had much skill with the Force, so Kindrid would have to be very careful with his attacks. Kindrid clasped his hilt tightly in both of his hands and dug one foot into the soft grass beneath his feet, thinking about his next move. Kindrid decided it would be best to focus most of his Force power to create a Force barrier around himself, lowering the chance of the Prophet's Force attacks hitting him. Of course this would also leave him open to lightsaber attacks, but that wasn't really Crozeus' strong suit. Nokah then lunged forward slowly yet deliberately, looking for an opening in the man's defensive position, and slashed horizontally at Crozeus' waist.

High Prophet Crozeus
|
Crozeus detected the Barrier being erected by the apprentice. A good idea, though the power behind it was not very strong. It would serve to weaken any attacks in the Force he used, however, so he resolved to not bother for now. It seemed to Kindrid that he was hoping the Dark and Shadow Warrior would not be as powerful in the blade as he was in the Force... technically he was right, but out of the Prophets Crozeus was unmatched in the blade. He had even held his own against Dark Lord Praxeum.
Crozeus stuck his backside out, sucking in his stomach to avoid the slash, simultaneously igniting the saber mounted onto the holster on his left wrist. He used this blade to bat Kindrid's away, then cut rapidly towards his throat with his right blade.

Kindrid Nokah
|
Kindrid had sensed the attack before it came and immediately bent his knees and leaned backwards under the oncoming blade. His father had helped him with acrobatics when Kindrid was younger and apparently the apprentice still had a natural talent for it. As the blade passed by, Kindrid flipped backwards and landed crouched. Without hesitation, he lunged forward again, gripped his hilt tighter, and slashed ferociously at the left side of Crozeus' neck.

High Prophet Crozeus
|
The style was good. The attack was not. A heavy blow soared in towards Crozeus' neck. He raised his left blade to parry it and put his strength in the Force behind his blade to grant him more strength. Kindrid had left his entire flank, head and chest exposed in this attack, which he was too committed into to be able to parry. To teach him this lesson of incredible importance, Crozeus lightly ran his right blade across Kindrid's chest, causing the apprentice to hiss in pain and withdraw.
Crozeus stood, waiting. Kindrid had already learned a lot from this duel.

Major General Celestial
|
Celestial quickly jumped down to intervene with the duel before it got any more bloodthirsty. The apprentice had learned an important lesson in this duel, and maybe he could reflect on this.
"Darth Crozeus, thank you for your time. Kindrid, I will see you back in the dueling chambers."
He gave a small, polite bow to both people and headed to the small shuttle space where he left his ship.

High Prophet Crozeus
|
((It's on Dantooine, not a dojo ))
Crozeus blinked, surprised his old Master was intervening so soon. Nevertheless, he was not one to argue, and he held great respect for the Colonel General, regardless. He returned Celestial's nod and walked over to Kindrid.
"A shame the duel was over so soon. You have potential. Your Master can help you realise it. I know, for he taught me."
Crozeus offered his hand.

Kindrid Nokah
|
Kindrid showed no emotion, atleast not on the outside, as he took the prophet's hand. The slight slash to his chest was excruciating, very excruciating. He knew not to make that mistake again. As he stood to his feet, he nodded at Crozeus then looked at his master heading back to his ship. Master Celestial, if I may, I would like to continue the duel with Master Crozeus, Nokah asked through telepathy. He hoped that his master would accept his request and let him continue fighting. In both the prophet's and Kindrid's eyes, it had only just begun.
