The decision was quite hard, but I want to ask admition into the Royal Guard. They are the elite, charged with protecting the essence of the Empire, and I've heard they recruit assassins as well (not to mention they have really cool armour  )

Depends on who is the Dark Lord. Unless this is the Shadow Protector, I would report to him. If this is my superior, I would report to the Emperor directly, of course I would try to aquire indisputable proof of my claims. If I do not have time, I would try to rally as much of the loyal sith as I can and defend the Emperor. |

Darth Mortis rushed through the halls of Imperial Palace, his red cloak fluttered behind him. He refused to believe what he just heard, how someone could accuse the Supreme Prophet himself in treason! Simply unbelievable, and yet the Inquisition presented indisputable evidence… Shadow Protector Tarna reacted immediately, now all Guardsmen who could reach the Palace in time were ordered to protect the gates, the Throne Room and the Emperor himself. ”How could this happen?!” – the young sith thought bitterly. His heart burned with righteous fury, these traitors must be exterminated, there can be no other way.
Finally Mortis reached his destination – the Palace entrance. A small group of guardsmen along with several squads of stormtroopers already prepared the defenses. Time was short; the mutineers could attack any moment now. Suddenly dead silence descened on the square before the Palace, it seemed the Force itself held it's breathe in anticipation of what is to come. “Steel yourselves, brothers! They are coming” – someone yelled. Mortis gave a deep sigh and ignited his lightsaber, familiar blood-red glow gave him some measure of confidence. He tightened his grip on the hilt, a single thought flashed through his mind. Do what you must and come what may… |

The Empire. It is built by the joining hands of all sith, and if the ruler threatens to destroy it due to his incompetence, madness, etc. such a ruler must be removed. |
