Background: Though he had endured the difficult life of a Nautolan spice smuggler, at the age of thirty-nine Gansua Kol slowly fell victim to the lethal AVA virus prevalent on the smuggler-friendly planet of Lamaredd. His dreary last days were filled with rhythmic listening to the bereavement of his wife, which were being slowly drowned out through the uses of substances, talks with his oldest boy Tsunas, and holding his three-year-old son - Kralius. Years later Kralius would spend his days with his brother training in the martial art of Hypothe, an art often found on the planet of Corellia. Hypothe focused on overpowering through raw kinetic energy, but was not without its effectiveness in precision. Tsunas and Kralius would leave as the sun ascended into the sky and would train for the majority of the day. Before they ended their training, they would dive into the deep waters of the planet and race each other to build stamina. Tsunas, the older of the two, would always come out the victor of their competitions. Anger often seethed from Kralius at his loses, but he would keep his emotions bottled up. He would practice day and night; uneasy to return home.
When Kol would head home at night to rest, his drunkard mother would swear at him and strike him with no motive. Kol never hit his mother back and dodged what he could, even having to pin her certain nights. He never slept; he would lay awake at night and wonder if there was anyway he could free himself from this misery.
In the middle of his agony, Kralius fell in love with a beautiful, blue-skinned Nautolan, Gladia Kash. He would spend his time with her whenever he wasn’t in training. He loved her with his whole heart and even admitted that he wanted to escape from their world with her and start their own life on a distant planet.
When Kralius was eighteen, on a dreary night, explosions ringing through the dark void awaked Kralius. The city of Crenth Paovle stood still for Kralius. Debris flew through his window as the street was illuminated with fires. He leaped from his bed, hearing laser blasts come from outside. His brother had been deeply involved in the criminal syndicate known as the Zend Family, and Kralius pieced together that this was an attack against the organization.
Kralius grabbed his Vibro Sword and hooked it onto his back and raced outside into a whole new world of choas and war.
There were explosions and troops beating on Nautolan smugglers and before he knew it, troops were rushing from every direction, blasting all in their way. Kol raced through the battle, taking cover when needed and ran on, fighting his way and gaining kills. In the middle of this chaos he found Tsunas alongside a blood splattered wall, his right arm stained red. Kol ran for his brother calling his name but was interrupted by the troops opening fire. He dropped to the ground, still alive, and crawled under the blaster fire and debris. Kralius got to his brother and froze for a moment, until his survival instincts kicked in and he grabbed his brother up to make their way back to their home.
With Tsunas on his shoulders, Kol was patiently and calmly carrying his brother to safety, when they were rushed by more troops with pikes. Kralius kneeled to put his brother down and engaged the enemy. He fought and killed them all but was wounded on his right eye and figured, that it was going to leave a scar. Kole tossed his brother over him again and carried on, explosions everywhere. He seized the first speeder he saw and threw his brother in the seat and dove in as lasers flew by his skull.
The two sped off, their attackers following in suit. During the attack, a mysterious member of the assailants ignited a green-hued blade, the weapon of a Force user. Kralius knew that only two factions wielded such arsenal, and Kralius reasoned only the Jedi would be attacking a criminal like Tsunas.
Flying above the surface of his homeworld, Kralius only knew one place in the world he felt safe; he turned and advanced towards Gladia’s. Kralius dove the speeder deep into the city’s surface, using near-superhuman reflexes that could not be explained by just adrenaline to evade their pursuers. Once Kralius arrived at his destination, he awoke Tsunas and helped inside the home.
After helping Tsunas onto a chaise longue to rest, Kralius left the house to make plans to escape the planet. Once he had enlisted the help of a local pilot to transport them to the planet of Kuat, he returned to home. He would never forget the next image he saw – Tsunas kissing his Gladia. Kralius had ignored all the signs that his brother had began to fall in love with Gladia and now saw her embraced in his arms.
Kralius’ mind could not even comprehend everything that had happened and he stood unmoving in the doorway, until he suddenly lashed and tackled his brother to the ground. He could feel his brother’s bones breaking beneath his blows, but he continued his attack and when Gladia reached for him to stop, Kralius placed his hand up and screamed for her to get away; Gladia flew back as if an invisible hand had shoved her across the room. Dumbfounded, Kralius turned and raced to his speeder and flew off to the spaceport.
Once he arrived at the spaceport, Kralius took off with the already-hired pilot and left for Kuat. While within the matured ship, Kralius reflected on what had happened until he came to the conclusion that with his fury, his swiftness enhanced and he could generate some kind of energy to blast people over. Kralius didn’t know what inner power he possessed, but he wanted to unleash the rage he built up for eighteen years and manifest it’s power. Arriving with his, apparently, smuggler friend on the Sith capital, Kralius began to request a place within the Eternal Empire. After he had built a natural disgust for Jedi, family, and love, there was no turning back for Kralius now
