The High Protector sat in one of the various seats in the training room, waiting for his new apprentice Lentrunian Zarayhn to make his entrance. Knowing that this apprentice has had minor training would make his job of teaching easier and faster.

Lentri walked into the room, looking up to his new master before bowing. After an at least four second bow Lentri stood up. He looked up at his master awaiting for him to speak and give Lentri his first lesson as a Sith.

Lord Legacy walked in and set next to Aden as his apprentice walked in and turned to Aden and said "I am much intrested to see what this one can do, do you permit me to watch his training?"

"I have no problems with you watching. But I ask you to please not interfear." He said as he turned his eyes back to his apprentice. "Lentri." The High Protecter said as he remained seated. "Why do you wish to be a Sith?" The Kel Dor asked as he sat by Lord Legacy.

"It is only in the Sith one can achieve true power," Lentri replied simply. "The Jedi are corrupt slime. However, the noble order of the Sith is one of dignity and honor. Only in the Sith can true civilization exist. Without the Sith, the galaxy would be under the corrupt hand of the Jedi. In those ways, I wish to become knowladgable with the Dark Side of the Force; the true power in the galaxy."

Lentri looked up for his Master's response.

High Defender Adenn

"Good, you have taught yourself well. Now I ask you. What order do you wish to join and why?" He asked as his black goggles glimered in the dim light of the room.

Darth Macht

((Am I really supposed to be considering orders now? If you say so....))

"Hmm...." thought Lentri. "The Inquisition? No. I am not meant to seek out heresy within the Sith.... Church of the Dark Side? A lifetime of trances and speaking to the force? Don't think so. Something allowing me to kill Jedi slime.... I would like to join the Sith Military- particularly the Army. That way, my Master, I will be able to prove my combat skills against the heretical Jedi and the Republic."

"The army is a very honerable order. Are you sure this is what you want, all orders fight the jedi, most not so much as the army, but they do. And if your decision is final, then we shall begin your training." He said as he rose to his feet. His apprentice was older than he by many years but that ment nothing in the ways of the sith and the force.

"That is my decision, my Master," Lentri responded respectfully.

He bowed his head down slightly one more time before looking back up at his master, awaiting his training.

"I see. Now for your first assignment. I want a summary on High General Vexan, the leader of the Army. This will give you some back ground the the army and his technique in training. Come back here when you are finished." The green Kel Dor said as he took his seat again, letting the apprentice go about his business.

"High General Vexen is the current commander of the Sith armed forces," Lentri said. "He is a human born on Dantooine. The Judicator and the Heaven's Fury are his ships, and he is a powerful Sith. He was born shortly after the Clone Wars ended; 7 B.B.Y. Some years ago he was assigned to hunt down and kill the traitorous Lord Lanik. He is currently aiming to become the Emperor of the Sith."

Lentri had given a short summary of Vexen's basic life, but there were probably many details that didn't show up in his research....

"Good. Good, that is well enough. But can you tell me who is next in line to the throne after Emperor Shadow?" He asked, wanting to see if the Apprentice had been looking threw any other records of the Sith.

((I don't know where to look... I read Emperor Shadow's coronation post and saw Empress Saber was announced to be the Empress of the Sith but I'm not sure who would come after Shadow should... something happen to him. I'm assuming you mean the other ruling member of the site.))

"Honorable Empress Saber shares the throne with Emperor Shadow currently," Lentri replied, unknowing if this was the correct answer or not... or perhaps it was correct and not what he'd wanted....

"Wrong, Empress Saber is no longer with us. The next in line to hold the position of Emperor will be Grand Inquisitor Prognie." He said as he sat there. "Do not worry, you are new to the Sith, so it is reasonable that you do no know. Tell me. What areas of the force are you trained in?"

Darth Macht

"I was originally a Jedi padawon, so I have learned the rather basic areas of the force padawons are trained in," Lentri replied. "However, after leaving the order I taught myself how to use many combat-related abilities as well as meditation and contemplation of the force. After a while I developed some of the basic dark-side abilities."

"I see. Battle meditation and contemplation are very useful skills to have in a battle. But how are you with a light saber?" He said as he pulled one of his out from his robes and placed it on the arm of his chair.

Lentri's force mind could feel his orange-red lightsaber dangle on his waist below his cloak.

"After leaving the Jedi Order I became adept with the lightsaber and developed unorthadox ways of fighting," Lentri said. "When traveling alone I had many ways to.... practice with the blade. I'm relatively skillful with a lightsaber, my Master.

"You will relearn how to fight with a lightsaber. Unorthodox fighting styles are very dangerous in that openings in defense appear were they should not. I will have you duel another apprentice of this order, to get you prepared for the trials. Is that in anyway unclear?" He asked to make sure his apprentice understood everything that had just been said.

"Yes, my Master, it is all very clear," Lentri responded obediently and respectively. "But may I ask whom I shall be dueling?"

High Defender Adenn

"You will be dueling Relak. A very capable and promising apprentice. I would watch my self with him if I were you. He is not to be taken lightly." He said as he stood to his feet and walked to the door. "You will now accompany me to the Dojo." He said as he opened the door with the force, waiting for his student to follow.

Lentri followed silently and respectfully, his shoes barely making a sound against the floor. His head was bowed down. He followed his master toward the dojo and thought of how this apprentice- Relak- was going to do in this lightsaber duel.

"A well fought duel Lentri." The High Protector said as he walked threw the doors of the training room. "Now that we have established the order in which you wish to join, and your saber skills. That leaves on other thing. The used of the force. It is your greatest weapon and ally. And unlike the Jedi, who are mastered by the force, Sith are masters of the force. Now show me what you can do with the power flowing around use." He said as he pointed to two rather large boulders sitting in the middle of the room. "Make them disapear."

Disappear? Lentri thought.

"I do not know how to make them literally disappear but I think he meant this," Lentri mumbled to himself, stretching his arm around and positioning his hand in a cage shape, assembling the force around one boulder.

He snapped his grip closed, imploding the boulder in mere seconds. He tightened his grip until all remnents of the boulder were almost invisable. Finally, he loosened his grip and threw his hands down to his sides, looking at his master for aproval.

"That was perfect. Exactly what I predicted." He said as he looked at the dust that still hung in the air. "Lentri, I will now teach you the most fearsome skill the Sith possess. He said as he rose to his feet, his right hand casting a lightning bolt into his apprentices chest. "Lentri, feel the pain, the anger, the hate. Use it. Feel the force flowing through you, feel it running down your arms, cast the weapon of the Sith." He said as he ended the attack, letting Lentri recompose himself.

Lentri roared in pain as the lightning burnt his already cut flesh. It was weakening him but... empowering him. It was now a weakness and a strength. It was malice. His newfound hatred urged him to strike down his master quickly, to end this now, but his thoughts told him to bear the pain to achieve power. Finally the beams of lightning ended.

Lentri pulled himself to his feet, looking at his master. One of Lentri's eyes saw his master as an enemy... a cruel enemy to be disposed of. But Lentri also saw the power in his master. Lentri saw his own admiration for the Sith's power. He looked at his chest, now slightly mangled by being ripped and burned so much. Finally he looked at his master.

"What shall I do, my Master?" he breathed, hoping for a chance to learn from his master more powerful abilities.

"I have told you already. Use the weapon of your predecessors. Use the force lightning." He said, standing there. His apprentices ignorance annoyed him and as such justified punishment. With out say a word, Taki struck his apprentice again with Force Lightning, this time aiming for his legs.

(I thought that, but isn't force lightning a weapon only Sith masters and lords can use. After all, I've never seen Anakin or Maul using Sith lightning. I'm sorry for not understanding that I could in fact use it.))

A simple question, Lentri thought. Is punishable by this? Can I use it? No... am I strong enough? Yes... I'll do it.

Pain rushed through Lentri like water rushing into a cup. The firey pain engulfed him once more, and then.... then he was entirely Sith.

"No," he whispered to himself, allowing his hand to outstretch toward the air and toward his own master.

Countless beams of lightning radiated from his hand, penetrating his master's upper chest. The force lightning attack on Lentri stopped immediately, and the room was loud yet... almost silent. The silence was defeaning ((my favorite line in writing by the way)). Lentri intensified the beams while getting up, and a grin appeared on his face. Finally, he let go, absorbing his newfound pride as a Sith... his newfound anger and hatred... his distrust of even his master....

As the force lightning struck Adenn in the chest, the shadowy figure seemed to tear apart and fade into nothingness. "Good Lentri, good." He said as he stepped out from behind one of the many pillars in the room. "You have completed the three tasks of apprenticeship. You have completed a duel, Mastered the first steps of the force, and you have given me a summary of High General Vexen, the leader of the order you wish to join. I believe you are ready for the trials. He said as he stepped in front of Lentri. His right hand landing on his apprentices left shoulder. "I will inform the high council.

"Thankyou, my Master," Lentri said, as he bowed.
