When I have completely caught up with what has happened when I was OOC'ly away, there will be a more integrated revamping of the Military and its forums.
I hope to have bi-annual updates/revamps for the Military that, backed up by little responsive cleanings to one-time-use threads, such as resignations or applications, will completely keep the Military Forum neat, organized, and clean. The Major Bi-Annual Updates/Revamps would include a tweaking of the Rank system and the Handbook. |

It's an abuse and removes the chances of people winning because now you can produce these in high amounts and every force user that's an enemy is now without the force, even ourselves. It's a pointless thing and I highly suggest the removal of such a weapon.

These cannot be produced in high amounts because, 1) There are only so many ysalamri, 2) There are a very rare species to locate 3) It is very hard to extract them. While many of the experiments were not finished or fully accepted by the Military for reasons of inconsistency and very little battlefield use, some of their experiments have been put to testing by the Military and a few have been seen as practical for battle use. Unfortunately, many of the Alchemy experiments were designed for Sith fighting by themselves versus any number of enemies. For those who do not understand what he is asking:
Conscription: Also known as the Draft, the Call-Up or National Service. Conscription is a general term for involuntary labor demanded by some established authority. It is most often used in the specific sense of government policies that require citizens (often just males) to serve in the armed forces. At the current moment, there is no Empire-wide conscription service. It has been upon a voluntary basis for some time as it is an honor to serve and there have been very little combat situations that would create casualties and therefor a need to conscript. On certain planets, i.e. those with a high value for military service, those with high experience and training in military service, and/or those found to be good sources of military cadets, there are Draft-like services. One such service mandates that all citizens of the planet between the ages of 18 and 45 serve a required 10 years in the Armed Forces of our Empire. If I may Supreme commander, you may have to work on a few things before we accept you. First of all, you might want to consider asking again when you are minion. Second, We could possibly take you as an intern or representative of the army, but that is not the case whereas you may want to do some more rping and discover what your lightsaber form is.
I am sorry, but please create a better bio for your character, becasuse it is unlikely that someone in the army without force powers, strategic command, or lightsaber forms would advance to more than private first class. |

I don't have any force powers because the Force was stripped from me. The Supreme Commander and I worked on the story together.
I won't be advancing to the rank of Sith Minion because I'm not a Sith and won't be completing Sith training. I am an Imperial. As for experience and merits, members of the real-world military join with no experience and go on to be four-star generals. |

Colonel General, he is right. It was decided that Nolan would be the first "Imperial PC" rather than a "Sith PC". The idea was created by Nolan, presented to the Emperor and myself, and we both liked the idea. I helped Nolan get to the point where he was stripped of the Force, and had already agreed that the Military was probably the only Order that such a PC would be accepted.
There are less Sith Officers than there are non-FS Officers in the Army and Navy. It would be impossible for us to have that many Sith in one Order. We are talking tens of thousands of Sith just in the Military, never mind the rest of the Orders. He is going to join the Army and be treated just like any other Trainee that has been accepted into the Armed Services. Your loyalty to your duties is noted and thanked, but this was already set into motion and agreed upon. I was going to let Nolan inform the site of the changes made, which he has. Nolan, you are accepted into the Army. Continue now to your training. |

I think you yourself just named two good reasons. Combat and strategy are the main components of the Military. The Inquisitors are more focused on information, and the Guard are focused on protecting individuals. The Army focuses on large scale versions of both. Instead of one person to protect, you have a planet-full. | ||

Regular troops wear Kartarn Mark X armor. Think Clone Troopers, but more advanced.
Sith Troopers are given a set of Kartarn Black Armor. But are not required to wear it after they reach an Officer rank. They are required to wear armor, but not that specific kind if they have a more suitable armor. |
