Good. First of all, I want to test your roleplaying skills. As the very beginning of training, I want you to write about 250 words long narration of you walking on the path on picture below
As a roleplayer, based on picture, you can consider those: weather, leaves, trees, wooden fences, sun etc. you can surely add whatever you wish. As an example, I wrote the sentence below. Please while you are writing your own, do not use my sentence.
As a cold breeze was gently sweeping the golden leaves under my feet, the refreshing scent of tall trees was dancing around my nose.
See, I both expressed the weather, leaves, my presence, the trees in one sentence. Now its your turn
Marius Praxeum
It was an hour after sunrise on the moon of Endor. The forest was just beginning to move, alive with the sounds of birds, insects, mammals, and the trees. Yes the trees were alive, calling out through the Force to one another, relaying information on the weather, to help the rest be ready for whatever was coming.
Marius stood on the winding path that cut through the forest like the main road through a primitive settlement. The light breeze cooled his face as it brushed against the exposed skin. It had been nearly 16 years since Marius had been in such a peaceful setting, away from the war machine that he had made into his home, his career. Looking around, he noticed the fronds of the nearest tree flipped over themselves, exposing the underside, a sign of rain that would come.
Hurrying, he began his walk down the wooden path, occasionally laying a hand on the rough wooden fence that kept the invaders of the forest confined to the path, controlling them without the knowledge of those on the path. The scent of the forest permeated throughout, overwhelming the scent of civilization that Marius brought with him in his clothes and equipment. Stretching, he continued on his way. The path eventually led to a small lake, a hidden jewel within the teeming masses of trees, its guardians. Stripping down to his shorts, Marius jumped into the crystal waters, skimming through the water like a fish.
As the time passed, he floated on his back, watching the sun travel through the sky, its eternal path. One eye was always focused on his belongings, ready to head back to shore at the slightest hint of a trespasser, entering into his domain of peace.
Mage Superior Odin
Sweetness. You outclassed me
To construct your process, I have few questions that you can answer OOCly.
1) Do you like non-stop action or calmer stuff ? Considering Elric, he's somewhat philosopher type person rather than a slayer and depending on your answer, I will act in a way that suits you
2) If you are really interested in joining Church, I will add basic Church elements to your apprentice training. So I need an answer
3) What do you expect from me as a master both IC and OOC so we can communicate better?
4) Do you have any questions about me both IC and OOC?
Thats all
Marius Praxeum
I do try.
1. Marius is a warrior, but after 12 years in the service and upon the revelation of his Force potential is ready to explore his calmer side. Of course, his warrior physique, personality, and habits will stay with him. So perhaps a combination of the two options?
2. Yes. Marus wishes to explore his new found talents, a conncetion with the Force, and has deemed the Church to be the proper Order from which to do so.
3. OOC'ly, I expect help with developing my skills to a higher level. IC'ly I expect to be taught the ways of the Sith and how to use the Force in ways I cannot believe to be possible.
4. What do you expect of me as your apprentice (IC and OOC)?
Mage Superior Odin
I just need (and respect) some honesty and logic. Thats all.
(If you wouldnt mind, I have to go off for now. I might be back in few hours)
Marius Praxeum
That is a good requirement and expectation, Master Odin.
[[That is fine. I was going to be heading out shortly myself.]]
Mage Superior Odin
Umbara, the ghost planet hiding between shadows and the home for the Prophet Elric de Odin. Even though it was not his home planet, Elric was keeping a strong connection to this planet occupied by its silent natives, Umbarans. Away from the chaos of galaxy, Umbara was somewhat an isolated planet in expansion region and was an important Sith bastion near the edge of known universe.
Elric was waiting eagerly in meeting hall of Umbaran Moff Palace to meet with his newly appointed apprentice, Marius. "Your guest has entered the atmosphere" A Umbaran agent told with telepathy. "He will be escorted to your chambers after he lands" . Elric bowed his head as a "thanks" and moved to his private chamber one floor above to salute his new apprentice.
Marius Praxeum
The Venator-Class Star Destroyer hovered in the upper atmosphere of the planet Umbara. The Vigilance it was called, named by its owner, the former Admiral Marius Praxeum. He had served his Empire well, and now was on the verge of increasing his abilities, ten-fold.
"Wait outside of the atmosphere, but within the system." Marius ordered the Captain. Even though he was no longer an active duty Admiral, he still carried weight, especially since Admiral Lanik had given him the craft and a crew. The Sith Officers took care of their own.
Ten minutes later a Class 720 Ghtroc Freighter exited the hangar bay of the much larger Destroyer. The freighter had been extensively modified from its original form and abilities. The Class 2.0 Hyperdrive had been replaced and tweaked to get 0.9, and the Backup had been brought down to Class 8. The shields were Military grade, along with the sensor suite and armor. The dual-lasers had been upgraded to a Quad, and augmented by two more Quads, one on its left and the other to its right, as well as a Dual cannon on the rear for enemies behind the freighter. A Concussion missile launcher had been added to the front of the craft, one on each side of the cockpit, for added potency. It is rumored to also hold a TIE Phantom in one of its cargo holds, with a modified airlock to allow the fighter out if needed.
The ship landed at the Moff Palace's landing pad, and Marius exited the craft, making sure to turn the security features on and program the Droid Brain within to contact him immediately for any problems or transmissions to the craft.
Standing outside the palace, he whistled to the R2 unit that he called Duece. "Come on Duece. Lets go see what my future holds." He said, to receive a whistle and blart in reply.
"I know. I miss being an Admiral too, but this has more potential. Besides, how can I return to my command when I mentally assaulted half of my crew?"
"Bloop deep baap."
Marius began walking towards the main entrance, where he hoped someone would be waiting to tell him where to go. Before he even got to the entrance, he felt an inturder in his mind. Guest of Master Odin, welcome to Umbara. I am Tibal Moera and shall be your escort and guide. Continue up the steps to the main door, there you will find a hallway that leads to a turbolift. Take the turbolift to the next level, there your Master awaits. And then the presence in his mind was gone.
"Of course they'd have to use telepathy to tell me this. Can't meet me in person, that'd be too civil." He complained as he made his way to the door. Upon entering, it was as he had been told. Taking the hallway he found a turbolift, and upon entering he arrived at the level directly above him.
"Master Odin?" He called out. "I am Marius Decimus Trent Praxeum, former Admiral of the Sith Imperial Armed Forces. I believe you are to be my master and shall train me to expand my newfound abilities."
Mage Superior Odin
Elric raised his head from the screen on his desk and took a look into his new apprentice's eyes. "Too many honors at a very young age, Admiral" Elric told without an emotion, staring on screens. "But not young enough for Force training. The process will most likely to be hard for you, but considering your army training, I believe, we can achieve this. I also see that you are interested in Church. Can I ask why?"
Marius Praxeum
"I was rewarded for my abilities, Master Odin. If you were not my Master that would have been taken as an insult to my abilities." Marius answered, his brusque manner from the Military taking over. He stood with the doors closed behind him, Duece on his right, its little eye surveying the room with a droids curiousity. Marius considered Duece to be alive, and often personified the machine.
"I choose the Church because it provides a means to my goal. I have been in the Navy, and have served my joint service with the Army. My physical combat skills are honed to a sharp blade of perfection. The Force is the area in which I lack skill and training. The Church is the most Force-focused Order within the Empire. I wish to learn from the best, and then continue to hone my skills under the eyes of the best."
Pausing he walked over to the outside wall, looking up at the stars already forming in the twilight sky. "I have served the Military well, but as with all things it is time to move on. Perhaps my Military service will be of some use to the Church, combined with my newfound abilities."
Turning he looked at his new master, whose gaze was on a screen. "By your logic, would not Bane have been too old to train? He was much closer to my age than to that of the younger apprentices."
Mage Superior Odin
"Patience is a power as well" Elric had converted his voice in a much colder tone. "Your actions make you who you are, not the names, apprentice. You might be the most ambitious tactician ever, but for our training, you are no different than an ordinary apprentice." Elric stood up with eyes piercing straight into Marius' eyes.
As he took a deep breath to calm himself down, he pointed his finger towards two black leather cushions in front of a giant window, capturing the scenery of a wide fjord from a high cliff, then his fingers moved towards the door for the guards waiting in the doorway. "Leave us alone and dont let anyone in unless it is absolutely urgent" Two Umbaran guards nodded and turned their backs with a swift move, closing the doors from corridor.
"Please take your seat, Marius" He changed his tone into a more warmer pitch. Marius did what he had been told, then his master sat next to him, both staring out the scene. "Tell me how you touch the pulse... the Force" Elric whispered after closing his eyes and took another deep breath, taking a meditation position.
Marius Praxeum
"Patience has been the one thing that I never had the time for. In warfare, you barely have enough time to create a feasible defense, never mind waiting for the right time to hatch it." Returning the animosity that Elric displayed. Marius had never been, and never would be one to allow an affront to his actions, his honor. "I never said the names meant everything, merely that they were begotten from my actions, my abilities, my trials."
Now that he had defended his early words he took the time, something he had rarely down in his previous profession, to become at peace within himself. Before answering his Master's question he really pondered it.
"I only became aware of my ability with the Force nearly a month ago. From that point, I was on the run, from what I had almost done and what I feared I would do next. It was only after Admiral Lanik showed me the potential and the control one could have, that I began to expand my experimentation." Looking around he tried to format his answer. "The Force, to me, is like a holographic image of a battle. I am immersed within it, surrounded by points of light that I can sometimes control--forces under my command--and other times merely observe--the enemy. It is merely like ordering my forces, to connect to the Force. I must know where the Force is, and what I want it to do. I only hope that I can one day break my enemies and control them as well." He finished, for the first time opening up about his abilities.
Mage Superior Odin
"I feel a great lust inside you, Admiral" Elric told with his eyes closed, breathing deep but in a complete silence. "Force is nothing but a tool to achieve your goal, and it treats you as you treat it. Do not seek it in such a lust, because more you consume it for yourself, it will consume you more than you can ever imagine, leaving a mindless body behind. Most of people envy some ancient Sith Lords like Kaan, Exar Kun, Ruin... all were twisted with the Force, believing they were controlling the power but indeed, they were puppets of their own broken minds."
Again, Sith Master took a deep breath and opened his eyes slowly then turned to his new apprentice, raising his hand. First he directed his finger to Marius' head "... Your mind... " then to his chest "...And your heart..." Het put away his hand back. "Those are the only things which makes you a warrior. Your Force is in your heart and your mind is in your head. Do not let your heart control your mind otherwise you will be perished by your very own power. Force will only treat you in the very same way that you treat it, as I said. It can be either your destruction, or just true strength. It is your choice... Understood?"
Marius Praxeum
"It is understood, Master Odin. Thank you for your wisdom. I had not thought of the Force that way, merely as a mean to accomplish an end."
Marius looked around the office, waiting for Odin to say something. But his Master was silent for the most part. "Master," he began, "when shall I begin construction of a saber, under your training plan?"
Always interested in his weapons and the tools that he would have with him, he had to ask the question.

((Sorry again for not posting ))
"I sense you are waiting for a saber eagerly, but you have to prove yourself worthy to hold it.... Against me.." Elric smirked. He was not the most powerful saber wielder of his era, but still his strength and tactics were well-appreciated. "Meet me at Batyldour Arena after sunset - You can leave now... apprentice." Elric finalized his words calmly.
((Duel thread is in Dojo I also want you to duel with Fien'dur. I will post the thread after I talk to him))
Inquisitor Linex
Darth Linex stood on the streets of his home planet, Corellia. And from what he knew, this was the homeplanet of his new Apprentice as well. He took out a commlink and sent a message to Marius. "You will find me on the corner of Darium and Voruth Streets, 5th level."
Marius Praxeum
Marius was finally back on his homeplanet. After several years away, under the tutelage of Mage Odin, he was back home. He wanted to visit his family, but his new Master had called. He walked down the streets of his childhood, passing storefronts and statues that he had passed many times before.
He made his way to Darium and Voruth, and took the lift up to the 5th Level. Getting out, he walked over to his new Master, Darth Linex, and stood a distance behind him with his head bowed.
Inquisitor Linex
((Please duel someone. No rules, just duel someone. This is my last post for the day. Just a heads up.))
Darth Linex could feel his new Apprentice in the Force. He was not a weak singal, but a beacon of power. This one had spent years honing his physical strength, which gave him a greater connection to the Force. The more life, in this case body mass, the greater the connection. Which is why the suited-Vader was much weaker than he was with limbs. But the suited-Vader was still nothing to laugh at.
"Tell me, who is your hero of the Sith? A former Dark Lord, a current Dark Lord, a current Marauder?"
Marius Praxeum
((Ok to both.))
"My patron would be Lord Vader. He was very powerful, and had a great tactical mind."
Marius stood still, looking out beyond his Master over the skyline of Corellia. It was such a pretty sight, one that inspired artists and poets for generations.
Inquisitor Linex
"You value Lord Vader, but yet you go into the Church. Why is that? He was the Executor, the fist of the Empire. He was the Military. Yet you join the Mystics."
Marius Praxeum
"I served in the Military, just as Lord Vader had. But my connection with him is his search for power. The Church gives the closest connection to the Force, the true source of power. The closer to the Force, the closer to being immortal, and a true War Lord. So my Military side still drives me, but my goal must be followed through the Church."
