MavenFor the first time Elric de Odin saw the young apprentice walk into the court yard at this time in the morning while the he was watching the sun rise, meditating. It was a young boy, seemed stressed and came out to the courtyard of Academy for to start his training on the path of Sith.
"You had chosen to walk on the path of Sith. And I will escort you on your long trip. I have to tell you that our road will be long and harsh but this survival will make you a great Sith one day. Now I have a question for you. Who is a Jedi? Who is a Sith? Please explain them with your own words, not with dogmatic teachings"

the young apprentice came in to greet his master and answer his master question. a jedi is someone who follows the light and uses the force for good and protect people and not harm them. a sith is someone who follows the darkside of the force. unlike the jedi the sith use there power for control and respect and to ggain more power. then the apprentice waited for his master approval

Elric was a little dissatisfied with his apprentice's answer then continued "The Jedi and the Sith, the logic and the passion, the darkness and the light are all blended together in the universe. They are all in a balance and this balance is always kept. So how is this being maintained? Have you ever thought about it? So here is the truth. It is never enough to just say Jedi are lawful, Sith are evil. If there were no Sith, how could Jedi survive?. Or the reverse?
In the universe, everything has an opposite. Look at the shadow hanging behind that statue. If there were no incoming light from the sky, how could that shadow appear on the surface? Light leads to darkness as the darkness leads to light. So this is the balance.
The same balance is applicable to logic and passion. Jedi moves with their minds while Sith with their passions... emotions... The first lesson you have to learn is if you want to walk on this way, you have to learn thinking with your heart, not with your mind. Your heart is your soul. It is the ultimate source of your power.
So this was the most important teaching for Sith, fundamental and direct. I hope you will always keep this in mind in the future. What is the story leaded you here? I want to know more about you" Elric asked

the apprentice done what he was told yes master
mavenwas born in the hot dessart of tattoine. He never saw his father who had died when he was 2 years old and mother died when he was 5. He did not receive an education better than most of his friends though. he was found by some a slave family they raised him the best way they could when maven was 8 a sith came to his homeworld to find a new apprentice to join his academy of the sith and with him he found maven who was strong in the force so maven left his slave family and went on with his quest to become a sith.

After uniting the surviving remnants under his banner, Kaan led them into a final war against the Jedi on the world of Ruusan, before destroying himself and his followers with the thought bomb.

Kaan believed that the thought bomb would destroy the Jedi When Lord Hoth and his retinue finally arrived and confronted the Sith, Lord Kaan detonated the thought bomb, killing himself, his Sith followers and Lord Hoth's Jedi. The caves where Kaan and his Brotherhood had died would eventually be known as the Valley of the Jedi. his apprentice Darth Zannah, and her cousin Darovit were those that survived the bomb, being distant from its effects.

As they had arranged, Elric was waiting in Academy's training arena for his apprentice, Maven.

"Welcome, young apprentice" Elric nodded before taking off his robe. He gently removed his black rune-covered robe and put it on a bench next to him, then grabbed his sabers hilt by telekinesis.
"Younger acts first"

With a change in stance, Elric quickly dodged Maven's series of attack then while he was in air, again maneuvering towards him, Sith master unleashed a wave of push towards him to distort Maven's body balance. It was not powerful at all but it was enough to shake him a little bit

As Maven maneuvered towards his leg, Elric jumped in the air to perform a reverse flip. As he stomped on the ground about 10 feet behind, he quickly launched his saber towards Maven

With another but unbalanced flip, Elric tried to avoid his apprentice's slash towards his back. He landed on dusty ground on his knees then launched two big plant pots behind him towards Maven

maven then jumped in the air to dodge his masters attack then mave unleash a hatred of fersome attacks on his master.showing no mercy to his master. it felt like something was controlling maven his eyes were red and maven was mad unleshing strike after strike to his master.on mavens last attempt he swung at his masters shoulder

"You just have raw power, untamed.... Uncontrollable force would result in nothing but self-destruction" Elric tone was a little bit angry after Maven's lightsaber burned his shoulder. Since they were using training lightsabers, they were not able to pierce body, but it was enough to leave a considerable pain behind. Elric stood up with pushing Maven behind then threw his training saber to the ground.
"Tamed power can do this.... Yours cannot..." Elric directed his arms towards Maven with his palms wide open. First rocky surface had started to shake with a small vibration then with a growling sound from deep, the rocks deattached from their beds forming a wave made of crushed stones flowing towards apprentice. Maven was trying to run away from wave as he was running insane, but Elric was driving the wave more faster than his apprentice. In a corner, Maven felt that there was no place to escape and he leaned his back against the cold wall, trying to push the wave with force, but Elric's power was unbreakable.
As the wave marched towards his face, Maven closed his eyes with his reflexes and held his breath, waiting the wave to crush him.
"Open your eyes" He heard Elric's soft voice just few seconds later. The rock wave was supposed to hit him hard, but he was not feeling any pain over his body. As Maven slowly opened his eyes, he saw that the rock wave was still in front of his face, just an inch in front of the tip of his nose, standing static.
"Untamed power is not power" Elric told once again, behind the rock wall.
"You will learn how to use it, only then you can have your true power" The rocks started to fall down loudly just next to Maven's feet, turning to dust.
"With this, our duel comes to an end" He grinned as he was tapping his clothes to remove the dust
