This is part of my Naval training, and this mission will be allowed for all sith military personnel.
The Imperial Navy, will form a blockade, while the army will invade and destroy the ground forces.
Supreme Commander Alor
OOC:
This was not what I had expected when I gave you that assignment. I rather thought you might post your idea in the War Room first, for discussion and tweaking. But since you have done this, I can work with it.
But first to help clarify it.
1. Who are we attacking? What planet and who is the enemy
2. What are our forces? how many ships/fleets and how many men/battle groups?
Lord Angmar
OOC:Sorry
IC:
An insurrection has occurred on the planet Mygeeto, a band of Rebels had joined with some freelance prates and mercenaries and established a small fleet and base on the planets surface. We must make an example of them, and show that the Empire does not take kindly toward treason.
Our intelligence reports that the estimated ground strength is one armoured division, and several small infantry divisions made up of abut 500 men.
The Pirates managed to assemble a small fleet containing many fighters, several cruisers, and a larger battle ship. Nothing that one of our junior Lords fleets couldn't handle.
Supreme Commander Alor
There was a small room in the shape of a sphere with a hologram projectors in the center, based within the Military HQ on Kuat. Seats surrounded the projector like a auditorium, giving everyone an optimal view of the projected image. Grand Admiral Marix was illuminated by the gigantic hologram of the Mygeeto system which was the current image projected throughout the room.
Looking around him, he saw only one other member of the Military in the room, Darth Angmar, currently training to become a member of the Imperial Navy.
I do hope the others will join us here, Marix thought, I sent the memo to everyone.
Darth Malice
Malice stode into the large, circular room and took a seat directly across from the only other Sith present. Gabriel had just received a promotion to Lieutenant Senior Grade in the Imperial Navy and he was somewhat anxious to see exactly what the Grand Admiral had in mind for the Rebels that dared to stand against our Empire. He hoped he would have a chance to wipe a large number of them out himself. Whether he was sent out as the squad leader or put in command of a small Cruiser. Either way he was ready to shed some Rebel blood.
Lord Angmar
Angmar, waited patiently sitting, while his mind wandered on the things yet to come. When suddenly his train of thought was disrupted by the sound of the door opening. He sensed the presence of his fellow Sith Darth Malice.
Darth Barad-Dur
Darth Barad-Dur strode in after Malice, taking note of the many chairs in the room. I wonder how many people he asked to participate? Barad-Dur thought, as he sat down, crossing his arm and waiting for the show to begin.
Supreme Commander Alor
"It appears that you are the only ones joining me on this venture. Since you have been brave enough to volunteer for this mission, I will let you choose your command. There are two options:
1. Command a Capital ship in the fleet
2. Command a Star Fighter Squadron in the Fleet.
We will be taking part of the Second fleet, my own command, to defeat these rebels. Speak now or I will assign you as I see fit and needed."
Marix stood, waiting for their responses. While he wanted the mission to go smoothly, this was a perfect time to test their skills in a real combat situation, and give them time on their own to find and fix their flaws.
Darth Malice
Malice's feelings were indifferent towards which avenue he would take. He would be more than willing to do either, but because he preferred to feel directly responsible for taking the lives of anyone who stood against the Sith Empire, he would prefer taking command of a Fighter Squadron. Doing this, he would be able to see every being he would strike down.
"If it the decision is our's Grand Admiral, I will command the first fighter squadron. I will do my best to carry out the will of our Empire and exterminate anything that stands in my way."
Supreme Commander Alor
The Grand Admiral stood, nodding his approval at Darth Malice’s request.
"Lieutenant J.G. Malice, you shall command the fighter wings during this battle, as you requested. Command Barad-Dur, since you have shown no concern as to your placement in the mission, you shall command the overall mission, as up to your ship limit. Darth Angmar, you as well have shown no concern, shall be put aboard a capital ship of your own choosing, and will lead it into combat. All of your performances shall be noted. As for myself, I will reside aboard the Flagship of our fleet, and watch your performances and take over if necessary. The information, once it has been compiled, regarding your personal missions and orders, shall be sent to you via your Military communicators. ATTENTION!"
Marix was proud as the three Sith Navy members quickly stood to attention, saluting him. He came to attention himself, and turning to face each individual, saluted them in return. The Military was going to be strong again, he sensed it, he had taught them well.
"Meet me in the Military Shuttle Bay A-12 in 0100 hours. You have until then to ready yourself for the upcoming conflict and also to resolve any problems or tasks here that can quickly be resolved. At exactly 1400, the shuttle will be leaving to meet up with the rest of our fleet, whose specifications shall be sent to you as well. Good Luck."
Darth Barad-Dur
((My post disappered! I had a reply to your asking my pref. but I don't know what happened to it. So, do I choose the ships from your fleet or what?))
Barad-Dur saluted him smartly. "I'll do my best, sir!" With that, he turned and walked away, to do a battle meditate while preparing for the upcoming mission.
Supreme Commander Alor
[[You can choose the fleet or I can... But they will be from the second fleet (Mine). IDK how many ships we will take, but probably no more than 1 Empire Class, 3 Imperial Class, 4 Victory's, and then carracks and lancers...]]
Darth Malice
Malice saluted the Grand Admiral and did an about face, turning his sights out of the command center window and into one of the vast hangarbays on the numerous fighter pilots already preparing for the battle. He continued towards the elevator that would take him to his fighter wing.
The door opened before him and he made his way to the center of the far wall where his ship was waiting. He would waist no time getting started on his preflight inspections. He had spent the entire night and most of the morning meditating on the upcoming battle. He knew he was ready and he would not disappoint the Grand Admiral, nor the Emperor for that matter, during his first mission as Squadron Leader.
As he continued towards his ship, several pilots and mechanics alike, stopped their work and came to attention. He returned nods to some of them and then stopped at the fighter next to his. This would be piloted by his right hand, or second-in-command. Malice searched the ship visually and then using the Force. It seemed in perfect working order.
"Master Malice." The voice came from behind him and the Dark Sith turned to meet it. The man in the flightsuit stopped a few feet shy of Bane and stood at attention, saluting his presence.
"Master Malice, it is an honor to fly at your side. I assure you our squadrons are more than ready to carry out the will of the Emperor." His voice was strong and respectful and that was important.
"Very well Squadron Commander. I hope you're ready to shed the blood of our enemies. To pick them out of the sky as if extinguishing a flame in the black of night."
"I assure you that we are ready."
"We will see." The Sith Master's voice was stolid, but firm. The Squadron Commander popped to attention and saluted again as Malice turned and headed towards his own fighter.
Darth Barad-Dur
((There are no Victory-Star Destroyers in the 2nd Fleet))
Barad-Dur looked at the list of Star Destroyers and capitol ships, then circled some of the ships. These ships should suit just fine for the upcoming conflict. The following ships were:
-Empire-
Vader's Wrath
-Imperial-
Imperial Shadow
Tyrannic
Relentless
3 Carrack Cruisers and 4 Lancers
"Take this list to Grand Admiral Marix," he said, handing the datapad to an officer, "This has to be approved by him before anything else can be done."
"Yes sir," the officer said, turning on his heel and marching smartly towards the door.
