High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Mortalitas

It was a good day for the Empire, new blood had come to the temple seeking  teachings of the dark side and his teacher was the High Inquisitor. Gra'tua was known for vigorous training routines and rituals that would either create an elite Sith in either battle or philosophy or break them and create a corps for the buzzards.

Gra'tua was standing at the top of the cold cement stairs that led to the large double doors of Sith Temple, his dark outer cloak slightly swaying, if looking at him it would be bustling to the left, in the breeze. His arms were crossed over his chest and his hood created a shadow that covered his face, save his eyes. The very eyes that would pierce ones soul and search for answers.

As Gra'tua waited, he peered down the set, waiting for his apprentice to appear. Mortalitas had four minutes to arrive and Gra'tua was not fond of those who could not show up on time.
Mortalitas

Mortalitas walked up to the base of the cement stairs of the Sith Temple and looked up to the ominous doors that rested at the top. He noticed a cloaked figure at the top of the steps and recognized the eyes of his master, the High Inquisitor Gra'tua, as they broke through the darkness of the hood. Mortalitas raced up the steps as fast as he could for he did not wish to be late to his first day of training. Mortalitas reached the top and knealt before Gra'tua, "Thank you, Master, for accepting me as your apprentice." he said, "As your apprentice, I swear to you my loyalty." Mortalitas left his head bowed as he waited for Gra'tua to speak.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

The High Inquisitor had been peering down the steps, waiting for the arrival of Mortalitas. As the apprentice made his appearance at the base of the steps, Gra'tua's eyes shifted as he caught the movement of the youngling running up the stairs quickly.

As Mortalitas stopped and took a knee, showing his respects, Gra'tua was calculating the time. He had arrived just four seconds before his time would be up. It was good, someone who could arrive on time made the Inquisitors first impression of the young one good.

Gra'tua then removed his hood, his head-tails falling down the front of his shoulders, and spoke. "Stand Mortalitas. You have arrived on time, that is good, but are you ready for what lays beyond those doors?"

His speech was intimidating and bold. His words were meant to be intimidating, to sway those with fear in their hearts not to enter. Only a few have ever survived his training, it was difficult and pushed many beyond their limits. If this one was not ready, he would perish.
Mortalitas

Mortalitas looked up at Gra'tua with a new glint of determination in his eyes. "I am ready for my training, master. I will do anything you ask of me, even if it will cost me my life." Mortalitas said as he stood and prepared to follow his master into the Temple.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Gra'tua gave a smile, a wicked one that would send shivers down the spine of the strongest of Sith. "That is a statement, many have fulfilled."

As he motioned for the young one to rise, he turned, the cloak swinging around, over swaying as he stopped. He rose his left hand, opening the doors with the force as he stepped in, the apprentice following close behind.

"There are a few questions I would like to ask before continuing. First, I would like to know if you have any weapons. Second, where do your interests lay? Third, are you more of a warrior or a politician?"

After he finished speaking, he stopped suddenly in the middle of the busy inner temple. He turned quickly and stared deep into the eyes of the youngling.

These tactics were for intimidation purposes, causing Mortalitas to stay on his toes and react quickly when even in the most calm areas.
Mortalitas

((I change my weapon on my character sheet and added how I found it to my bio))

Mortlitas was cught off guard by Gra'tua's quick turn but he gained his stance before he lost his balance and he righted himself. "Yes master, I have a weapon." Mortalitas said as he reached towards his back and pulled out a staff, "This is my blade, Schizo." Mortalitas bulled the staff apart and revealed the red and blue shortswords that were previously hidden.

Mortalitas resheathed the swords and placed them back in the strap that hid them in his cloak. "To answer your second question, my interests lie with whatever poses the greatest gain and joy for me. And for your final question, my master, I am more of a warrior than a politician."

Mortalitas bowed slightly when he finnished answering Gra'tua's answers and awaited his master's response with baited breath.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Gra'tua listened as he spun around once more walking away while speaking."Your answer to the second question was insufficient. I was asking about which Order do your interest lay. As in the Military, Inquisitorius, Royal Guard, or any other Order that had peeked your interest."

As he rounded a corner he stopped in front of a door marked library. This place was filled with holocrons. Here is where the beginning of the young ones training would begin. Here is where the basic knowledge of the Force would be gained.

Mortalitas would need to know what the Force was before ever attempting to use it in front of Gra'tua. To the High Inquisitor, knowledge is power. They were halted in front of the door, allowing no entrance, nor exit until the apprentice had fulfilled his answer.
Mortalitas

"I am interested in joining the Royal Guard or the Alchemists, master." Mortalitas said as he bowed again. He looked up at Gra'tua, "I ask for you to forgive me for my ignorance, master."
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

Gra'tua shook his head. "Forgiveness is a sign of weakness, there is nothing to forgive." As they continued into the library, he walked to a desk. This would be where Mortalitas began his training.

"The Alchemists you say? It has been a long while since we have had anyone interested in them, I believe that is the path you should walk. Please go research the Sith Alchemists of this Empire and write me a report. It should be no less that four hundred words. I would like you to write about the Alchemist Order and their functions. I also want you to pick one of the Sith Alchemists within this Empire and include them into that report. Tell me why you think this Order and it's members is important. Is that understood?"

After speaking, he turned and peered at his apprentice. This was only the beginning for him, sure this would start out easy, but it had only begun. Simple research was only to get the mind working, soon it would be on the verge of going insane.
Mortalitas

Mortalitas bowed slightly once again, "Yes master, I will do that." He headed towards the desk and began his research.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

[[Gunna post your research?]]
Mortalitas

((I'm having trouble with the research cause I can't find anything that fits the topic. Any ideas where I might find the information?))
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

[[http://www.wookieepedia.com, the alchemical lab on this site, ask the higher ups about one of the alchemist.]]
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

[[Hows it going? You still alive?]]
Zardenth

[[he is most likely really busy with school, for i know him in reality. he should be on soon and if not i will contact him]]
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

[[thank you]]
Mortalitas

[[Sorry I was gone for so long. Stuck with exams and then once school got out I had to give back my laptop. Also, I would like to change from being an alchemist to being a royal guard, is that ok?]]
High Inquisitor Gra'tua

[Of course that is why we have this period before you jump into an Order. Just write the report on the Royal Guard and when they were implemented.(if you can find it.) How they are used and all that. Same regulations apply. If you have forgotten them just look through the last post when I gave to the task. Just imagine where it says Alchemist that it is Royal Guard.]]
Mortalitas

[[I'll get right to that as soon as posible]]
Mortalitas

[[I'm dead here, sorry. You are no longer have to wait for me to post replies or anything.]]
