I talked with him for hours to change his mind but he told me he already applied for it. Damn, we grew up together. Its the first time that someone I really care gonna do this. Not sure, he said he just applied and he will go either in November or April. I couldnt understand why he did that, his family has tons of money and fully support him, he just graduated as a computer engineer but he said he couldnt find a good job to work (he's very picky).It really makes no sense | ||

As a computer engineer he could land a job in the engineers or a mechnized unit which is a lot safer.
In the UK you might not get sent to Iraq or Aghanistan, you might get Belize or Nepal or Former Yugoslavia or something like that. Your buddy will be fine though. He'll have the time of his life

The next movie I will watch now is Der Untergang, It looks cool. I also have a suggestion, "Mein Fuhrer" - a black parody about last days of Nazi Germany and Hitler. Check it out. |

Who says that Patriots cannot watch war movies? They happen to be some of the better movies. But if you want a good one check out: Starship Troopers, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Hunt For Red October, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Zohan, or Air Force 1. All very good movies. |
