Open Duel

((I haven't Roleplayed in a year, so i need to hone my dueling skills. Plus, its an assignment. I need someone who will help me learn.
    The Rules are
             Force Powers allowed.
             No Killing
             Training Sabers.)))

Sam sat meditating in the Dojo, waiting for an opponent to come.
High Prophet Crozeus

((I will fight you, if you wish. I have a duel open but no one has come Sad))
Darth Cruiciatus

((Okay, cool. And Congrats on becoming a darth!))
High Prophet Crozeus

((Lol, thanks. You start))
Major General Celestial

I shall be GM. You may start.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus approached his fellow ex-jedi, who sat waitng in the dojo. His boots clicked on the floor and there was fire and triumph in his eyes. He greeted the apprentice warmly with a firm handshake, making it clear to Samuel that this was not a really serious duel, especially since Crozeus was worn out from the duel with Samuel's master, High Prophet Aequitas.

Disrobing, Crozeus ignited his short lightsaber, saluted Samuel and took up a Shii-Cho position, a sly grin probing the corners of his scarred mouth.
Darth Cruiciatus

((Crozeus is a really cool name. why didn't i think of it.ConfusedWink)

Sam cast off his robes and spun his lightsaber around him and then held it horizontally, igniting both blades. He jumped in the air behind Crozeus and went on the offensive, attacking him on the left, when Crozeus parried and cast it off, attacking him. Sam blocked it, and the duel continued...

((First duel in a LONG time.))
High Prophet Crozeus

After a series of easy paaries and ripostes, Crozeus planted a hadn on Samuel's exposed chest and pushed him away. He raised his short lightsaber and hurled it towards the amphibious Sith apprentice, simultaneously igniting his own double bladed lightsaber, given to him by Darth Celestial.

Also, he changed his form to Juyo, and sprinted towards Samuel, only moments behind his spinning short saber.

I'm his Master, I'll be GM'ing; it's his task. You won't be.

Carry on Samuel.

That was unnecessary, Aequitas. Celestial offered his services, since none had been offered before him.

Being his Master does not grant you the position of GM, it is just customary for the Master to offer, before anyone else, to do so to keep an eye on the duel and help teach his apprentice.
Since Celestial offered first, he is the GM, unless the COMBATANTS object. While it may be Samuel's task, this Duel is no more special than any other duel, so you cannot claim special treatment.
Lord Aequitas

Marix, to be frank, I don't give a damn. I will be monitring my apprentices progress so there is no need for Celestial to be a GM. Now, please, but out, I've got it under control. I'm getting sick and tired of you butti into everthing I do.

Samuel, carry on.
Supreme Commander Alor

You may monitor his progress without needing to be the GM. The GM is merely to keep the duel fair, he or she are not the only ones allowed to watch and follow the duel. The GM is merely to make sure that the moves are legal and fair.

If anything, you would not fit the qualifications for the GM position because you are his master and potentially biased against Crozeus.

If your reasoning in this holds any value: I will also be watching the duel to monitor both their progress, so there is no need for you to GM it.

If what I did was butting in, then what you did before me was rude and highly uncalled for. I do not "butt into everything you do", but rather give input and advice where it is needed.
Lord Aequitas

I doubt I'd be biased against Crozeus having privately trained him myself.

Samuel, ignore all this butting in and refer to the last topical post when replying.
High Prophet Crozeus

((Can I request that you move your discussion to PM rather than clogging up our duel thread.))
Lord Aequitas

No you can't. I asked Samuel to continue thereby ending the discussion which you just started again.
Supreme Commander Alor

As I seem to recall, the "butting in" was started with your post. You could have just posted occasionally commenting to your Apprentice, or RP'd being an observer like others have done, and shouted out advice.

Instead you rudely called out Darth Celestial and basically removed his honorable offer to help, throwing it away like a disposable diaper. Which is what drew my attention to the duel.
Lord Aequitas

Right, thats it. I've had bloody enough.

Sameul and Crozeus,

Samuel, create a new thread. With the same rules.

Crozeus, would you mind dueling him there? I do apologise for my bitterness. I am getting quite irritated.

I'll be GM'ing the new duel

Could a MOD of the forum please lock this thread to stop someone from posting everytime I try to let them carry on but can;t let go of his annoying litte point. Whcih I'm going to ignore, like i do with all of his points and suggestions.
Supreme Commander Alor

I love how you seem to think that I am the one to blame for cluttering the thread.

If you had "bloody" left the duel alone and looked at other means of participating, then this would never have happened. They could have carried on, you could have observed and advised, Celestial could have GM'd and made good on his honorable offer, and I would have just read the duel, maybe join in an observe IC'ly, and have left this site feeling happy and pleased with my time here.

My point is not little, and it would not have been repeated if you had merely just acknowledged it and then taken POSITIVE action based upon it. Instead you had to be the "bigger and badder" Sith and seem more important and haughtier by telling me to leave and ignoring my point, though if you truly did ignore it, then you would not have responded after my first post...

The fact that you ignore all of someone's points and suggestions merely shows your own incompetence and foolishness. And hardly serves to make the Empire and the Site better, and to give the Users a better time here.
Lord Aequitas

-sigh-

Could a MOD or Admin lock this thread.
Darth Cruiciatus

((Uh, Don't mean to sound disrespectful or anything, but can you guys maybe just not talk in here and Crozeus and I can continue.))

Seeing Crozeus wielding a total of three blades and prepared himself for the assault that followed, somehow, Sam blocked all of it until the end when Crozeus found an opening on the left side and hit Sam with his lightsaber, Cutting through the cloak and burning Sam's skin. Crying out in Pain, Sam tapped Crozeus foot with one of his blades, causing a slight singe, which distracted him long enough for Sam to jump a few meters away and prepare himself for the next onslaught.

(Hope that was good.))
High Prophet Crozeus

((Why my foot? Everyone always goes for my feet lol))

Crozeus hissed, but drew the pain to fuel his strength. He watched Samuel drawing himself up and wasted no time. He stepped forward, and Sam brang his saber up defensively. Crozeus suddenly unleashed Force lightning and watched as the ex-jedi absorbed most of the bolts, but some ripped through his green flesh.

Crozeus then used the Force to bring up his short saber, which attacked Sam in mid-air, but he easily defended himself as Crozeus wasn't too capable of keeping the blade airborne effectively. he then leapt forward, swinging with both blades, keeping them diagonal. Sam parried and forced the saber to a horizontal level, leaving the handle exposed.
Darth Cruiciatus

((I don't know, i just go for whatever comes to my mind, and your feet just automatically came to my mind. that sounds weird. lol. And leaving it undefended, this should be interested. my saber can be divided into two working parts, like maul's.Wink Unless that not fair. I'll leave your judgment and not post anything so that you can judge whether that is cool or not.))
High Prophet Crozeus

((Hell, do what you feel! That's roleplay! Although don't like, summon the death star and zap me. That would be unfair.))
Darth Cruiciatus

((lol, I don't know if anyone can, though Seti I suspect is already working on it.))

Crozeus Brought down his blade ontoon the hilt, seperating it in half. Expecting that to break the hilt and win, he was surprised to see Samhad both blades working and start to attack him from two places at once, putting him on the defensive. He couldn't find a weakness open long enough to exploit it, but he might be able to Tire Crozeus out, as Crozeus had just come from another duel...

((You are now tired.Razz))
High Prophet Crozeus

((Fair enough. Edit for spelling though - it looks better.))

Crozeus kicked out, smashing Sam's shin with his heel, before unleashing a lethal uppercut to his chin. Sam collapsed onto the hard floor, and Crozeus ignited another saber - the one he constructed at the Jedi Temple. It's violet glow gave light to an evil glint in his eye as he ran it lightly across Sam's chest, causing him to scream out in pain.

He then backed off, saluting. "Thought that would win the duel for you, did you?" He snarled, baring his teeth to his writhing foe, whom he shocked on a whim with more lightning.

"Get up. Or have you had enough?" Crozeus taunted, subconciously wiping sweat from his brow.
Darth Cruiciatus

((ooh, this is where it gets started. Laughing))

"Not even close" Sam said as he ran at Crozeus, When he neared 2 meters, he jumped up and behind Crozeus and kicked him in the back, forcing him on the ground, and as Sam went to attack him, Crozeus brought his lightsaber up and blocked it, kicking Sam in the stomach in the process...

((I really suck at Rping.
High Prophet Crozeus

((No you don't.))

Crozeus grunted in surprise and pushed himseld down with the Force, rebounding upwards an a full flip. Facing with his back to his opponent, he leapt, spiralling in mid air, driving Samuel's blade aside with his own and slashing him across his thigh, causing him to buckle on one knee. Crozeus came down, shouolder rolled and came up with a vicious swipe at Sam's neck.
Darth Cruiciatus

Sam blocked it with with his left saber, his right one had fallen to the ground when his thigh was hit. He then got up, limping, and defended himself against all of Crozeus's attacks. He swiped at crozeus's leg, but Crozeus didn't get hit this time, jumping back and then going on the offensive...

(Yeah I suck. I don't take initiative because everytime i do, there's always chants of god-modding involved.))
High Prophet Crozeus

((lol. Just don't god-mod.))

Crozeus looked at the weakened figure in front of him. He was tired now and wanted to end his playing. He stepped forward, batted Sam's saber aside, wrenching it from his hand with the Force. Sam ducked as the top blade came up to his head and Crozeus sent it flying with the Force. He quickly slashed his saber across Sam's chest. He collapsed, unconsious, and Crozeus signalled to a nearby droid.

"Take him to the med centre. Treat his wounds with bacta. Darth Aequitas won't be pleased if his apprentice is still limping." The droid beeped and effortlessly picked up Samuel and whirred away. Crozeus picked up Sam's saber and sent it to his defeated foe's belt. His sense of satisfaction disappeared when he saw the damage done to his double blade.

"It will take ages to fix that," he thought.

((Last laugh?))
Lord Aequitas

Aequitas exited the shadows. "That's High Prophet Aequitas to you, young one" He nodded. "This duel has ended. Samuel, when you're finished with the med bots, come back to the training grounds."

((Great Duel guys!!))
Darth Cruiciatus

((That was fun. How long does bacta take to heal? I'll give it a day. Razz ))
