But yes, I think we need to plan exactly what is going to happen. Otherwise some will RP one thing, while others RP another

Yeah, I was thinking it would go something like this... After a number of student dissapearences the council grows weary. Just as they are going to send out a small search party the students return... I'm not sure how much I should give away, but basicaly Cimil takes them on a trip to a long disused sith temple. There they came across something. I don't care if thats not what happens. Yall can post your Ideas here as well.

I do believe this thread is for any OOC discussion. Please stop wasting space in the actual RP. Marix, I'm almost positive Prognie is correct. This whole thing falls into the realm of 'national security', so to speak, and it's the Inquisitor's job to ensure safety, the Grand Inquisitor has the rights to take control over all military actions when necessary.

But he should go through the proper chains of command.

When say the CIA or Homeland Secuirty want to move troops or command ships, they must go to the highest ranking officer [this case it is me] and at least tell him what is going on...

Well.. I'd suppose you already knew what's going on, I mean.. you are the head of the military. So, that'd make it obvious that Prognie would be taking brief control of your military, even though it would be more understandable if he asked first, he doesn't seem like the kind of Grand Inquisitor that asks permission to protect the Empire. Confused

and if we're going by ranking Marix, I out rank you therefore while you control the fleets, when necessary I can step over your head. Dark Lords are the highest ranking members because they are the high council, which makes them ruling bodies of the Empire alongside Shadow. And don't rulers get to also use that rank to do what they want as long as it doesn't undermine shadow?

Technically IC they're not yours either. From my understanding Shadow expects this to be run by a Supreme Commander and twelve grand admirals. You are only one of them, you hold rank but not the rank to overstep Prognie and not a rank that he needs to send you a report. And as you said about Prognie not being in charge of the fleet, it could very well be true about you.

Emperor Shadow's plans [are just that, plans] and what is currently instated as protocol are two different things. Until the changes are made, there is only one Grand Admiral, who is in charge of every Fleet in the Military. And that happens to be me...

The absence of eleven other Grand Admirals does not discount their existence and for the purpose of a roleplay you could call them the names of famous pop stars for all I care, but the fact remains that you're one of twelve. You could GM those characters, certainly; but my plans haven't changed.

And due to Prognie's status, I think it's safe to say he has the power to do almost anything he'd like. He didn't kill what's-his-face, but told him his career was over, in a very threatening, intimidating way. Wink

Just to point out, the transmitter I planted is similar in size to that of perhaps four or five grains of sand held together. It's nearly completely untracable.

That it would, but the COMLINK device I have in my possession now is equipped with the transmitter. Upon the push of a button, the transmitter is shot from the device. It's not overly complicated to understand, but it works.
