Photo Journal: Star Wars WeekendsImperial citizens, I had the pleasure to attend a conference for two weeks and met some interesting people. I met Jedi and Sith alike, sometimes even a Bounty Hunter or two. Citizens from all over the universe were there and I enjoyed meeting all of them! I spoke for the Sith Empire in all cases and sometimes even had to draw a lightsaber against evil Jedi foes.
I'll start by documenting my audience with Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Shaak Ti:
From there, I spoke privately with Shaak Ti about a vision I had concerning her demise:

All in all, my audience with those Jedi proved to be most productive and the Supreme Prophet moved on...

Haha, I'm a mix. I'll wear tighter clothes outside the house and baggy clothes around the house, simply because I don't really care much how I look at home because you all can't see me as I type this

Odd thing to quote and then ask about my family's fiscal status. If it aids in the answer of your question, all of those tax breaks the president likes so much that people harp about because they only benefit the "top one percent of Americans" technically puts my family in that category.

I then met Princess Leia Organa who looked stunning in a white gown. I inquired as to her stay aboard the Death Star and she assured me it was most excellent.

I was going to wear Sith robes but it is a little scorching like always. I practically grew up at Disney and trust me, hot is hot.
Incidentally I'm back from today until Tuesday and will be meeting the actors who played Jango Fett and Boba Fett. I'll have a lot more pictures after this weekend is through.

America's climate is far too weird. Florida (sub-tropical) especially. It is warm, sun shiny and raining at the same time. Sometimes it is cold with grey skies and rain. Other times, it is cold, sunny and raining. But mostly, Orlando in summertime is just plain hot (90-100 degrees F).

Shadow, you're that tall and wear a small? No wonder you're a swimmer - that's the kind of body that slices through the water. When I was your age, I was 5'2", just as skinny, and also on a swim team. Now I'm 6' and large is usually too tight, I prefer the slightly loose feeling of xl.
It's funny - some of the professional costumers you have pictures with, aren't as good as the amateurs at cons.... you should see the Vaders in Seattle (we have three, so they coordinate and only one will show up as Vader to a particular event).

Yeah, I'm still working on getting pictures of me and a lot of characters the professional photographers aren't with but am dragging my heals between all of the work I'm doing on my story some work on the Church and combatting real life.
Small is way too big on me anyway. I can't even shop for jeans in regular venues (for males) and have to shop in the girls department because I am so tall and skinny and wear a size two. My sisters all want to murder me.
Yes, I've heard about the Vader's of Seattle. The 501st tried to get one for the parade this year but I am unsure if they got him or not.

The mannerisms of some make it kind of believable, and we only did meet/greet with the characters because we had a lot of down time between the Q&A with the celebrities, meeting the celebs and doing every other event.
1.) You will see me there. Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day of every SW Weekend.
2.) Clothes that breathe! Don't bring jeans, don't bring a sweater. Bring a rain poncho just incase. Under no circumstances should you wear flipflops or sandels into the park. A camera and lots of memory card/film. Money for collectables they'll have in a large warehouse/shop called 'Wicket's Warehouse.' Last year it had a three-quarter scale X-Wing and it was amazing!
Take a look at who the celebrities are when they announce the dates and who will be there and make sure you bring (if you want, you're only allowed one item for the celeb to sign, though sometimes they will sign two if you're nice) along something for them to sign.
Some people brought the twelve inch Shaak Ti Barbie-like doll for Orli Shoshan to sign this year and that was cool. They have black and white photos for them to sign if you don't have anything.
They don't really advertise this next one at all, but make sure you take a look at who their special guests are. Two years ago on the Saturday of Weekend Two, they had Matthew Stover to sign copies of his books. This year, they had the concept artist of Episode III there Weekend One, the artist who designed the Weekends logo Weekend Two, no one Weekend Three and Aaron Allston to sign his books. It was really awesome because my sister and I got Aaron Allston to sign every SW book he's written for us.
