Rebel Stand, Rebel Dream

Who liked these books? I LOVED them, they had so much action, with humor and drama chucked in. I think they are a worthy addition to the NJO.
Emperor Shadow

Haha! Luke didn't mention that his clothes weren't food. I totally hated that Sheesh died though, she was so awesome!
Lady Actir

You mean Viqi Shesh? I never liked her a lot...

I liked Stand & Dream, although my favourites are still Traitor, Star by Star and The Final Prophecy. I like seeing the main characters evolving, the most interesting ones being of course Jacen's and Tahiri's, in my opinion.
Emperor Shadow

I knew "Sheesh" didn't sound right; but yes, I do mean Shesh. I enjoyed Traitor and Destiny's Way... Star by Star kinda got me down.
Darth Acheron

Well, I enjoyed Star by Star and Destiny's Way, Traitor kinda got me down. Very Happy
Emperor Shadow

Haha. Why, though? Vergere is so uplifting!
Darth Acheron

Having it written in "Real-Time" was just so wierd.

Seeing "Jacen runs to X, then says "Blah, Blah," then walks over here," looked weird. IUt was also really hard to follow.
Emperor Shadow

Ah, then don't read I, Jedi. It is more or less the same kind of transition. It was hard to follow in places but overall so good.
Darth Acheron

I read it, it weasn't like that at all, its "I switched to protons," not "I switch to protons"
Emperor Shadow

To me it's the same kind of difference.
Darth Acheron

How? I, Jedi is written like any other SW book, Traitor is written weirdly.
Emperor Shadow

Nah, I, Jedi is totally in first person, Traitor was simply dialogue.
Darth Acheron

Whats wrong with first person? I said I have a problem with present tense in books, as they are meant to tell stories, which implies the story has already happened.

YAY! 1,000th post!! Yipee!
Emperor Shadow

Kudos. Welcome to the club.
Lady Actir

I really liked the first person style, though. It was like being in an atemporal dimension, where time doesn't pass (which was exactly what the author pretended, I'm sure. I don't even know how many months was Jacen with the Yuuzhan Vong Confused)
Darth Acheron

Thats what I didn't like about it, it didn't seem like it was telling a story, rather showing ithappening, and it was odd.
