Background: Born in the populous city Choal on the planet Jabiim, Roan Sinidal early years were filled with days spent with friends on the adventurous Razor Coast or the lovely Jobreth Plains living a life of luxury. With the Jabiim Congress becoming reestablished after it’s disastrous end in the Clone Wars, Roan’s father was appointed to the congress, allowing the money and power that made Roan’s childhood a happy and easy one. But at the age of 19, all that changed. A Jabiim terrorist cell known as The Jabiim’s Voice kidnapped Roan for political leverage against his father, the congressman. But his father remained resolve and refused to negotiate with the terrorists, so the terrorists began to send daily brutal videos of them abusing Roan through the planetary HoloNet hoping to change his father’s mind. But the congressman, despite the sorrow it brought him, refuse to give in.
With their cause having failed, The Jabiim’s Voice could not release Roan because he had seen their faces. But every time they came to kill him, Roan could not explain it, but somehow he was able to talk his way out of it - as if he somehow had control over their mind. But he was not able to stop the beatings and they continued for five years and Roan had no idea of what went on outside the bunker he was being kept in. Everyday his anger and pain rose to new heights…and it was harder for him control it. Until one day, while being beaten by a young gamorrean, he attacked back. Though it was uncommon for any gamorrean to be beaten in any type of fist-fight, Roan was being fueled by some unknown strength and attacked the gamorrean until he laid dead. Realizing the rest of the terrorist would soon be on their way after seeing what just happened on the holocams, he thought he would begin to panic - but he had never been focused in his life. The rage, as well as adrenaline, he felt seemed to focus his strength, and the moment the door busted open Roan was able to kill two men instantly, take one‘s WESTAR-34, and the rest soon perished.
Roan quickly escaped, joy replacing his emotions of pain, excited about going to see his parents. Running to his parent’s home, he rushed through his door and his mother stood in the hall and was speechless. But she refused to go near him, knowing the decision she was about to make would scar him the rest of his life. With his father running for the Galactic Senate, she was frightened of the affects a possibly deranged son would have on his campaign. Tears staining his mother’s cheeks, she told Roan that he had to leave, to disappear. She told him he couldn’t back around and then she sent him out the door. Cast out by his own parents, Roan felt enough sadness for an entire lifetime. He was unsure where to go, so he went to the only place he knew - the bunker he just escaped from.
Roan took up residence in the bunker and spent the next week look at the corpses and debris to find anything of interest. One particular corpse caught his eye, not just because he had never seen the man in the 5 years he was there, but also because a long piece of metal was laying about him. He picked up the mysterious metal cane, a pressed a small button on it and a green blade ignited out of the end. The entire galaxy knew what this was - a lightsaber. After looking over the body more, Roan realized that this “Dark Jedi” was the de facto leader of The Jabiim’s Voice and Roan thought he would find out more about him. After looking through the leader’s room, he discovered many different documents, on datapads and flimsi, that all pertain to something known as “The Force”.
Roan began to read and research it, and he began to notice something interesting. That all the things he couldn’t explain that happened while he was a prisoner, made sense with the Dark Side. That led him to the conclusion that he must be Force-sensitive and so he devoted himself to learning more of the Dark Side. He spent the next year of his life alone and isolated in the bunker meditating, practicing lightsaber combat, and strengthening his connection with the Dark Side. Until finally, he realized that if he wanted to learn more, he needed to hear from other Sith. So, he decided to search the galaxy for the artifacts known as Sith Holocrons. Naga Sadow, Darth Revan, Darth Sidious, all the great Dark Lords of the Sith had locked away their information on the Dark Side in this devices. His quest led him across the galaxy where he learned thousands of new talents ranging from manipulation to Sith Alchemy, from mechanics to intimidation and many more.
While searching the planet of Ruusan, hoping for traces of Darth Bane or a member of the Brotherhood of Darkness, Roan came into contact with a Sith Embassy. He knew the Sith were still very present in the galaxy, but he had not felt ready to go and join their ranks. But as he went inside to quench his curiosity, the Sith there told him that he radiated not just the Force, but the Dark Side. They quickly convinced him to join and sent him to their capital where he began to search for a Sith Master.

Are there any masters open?
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
I am, my last apprentice seemed to abandon me.
I am willing to help you learn, but I have already offered my services to another. If no one else has posted in three days I will see if I can take on multiple apprentices.
Grand Inquisitor Prognie
I believe this is fine and I have an idea that might help you train both of them without distracting yourself completely. I approve of this pairing and the other, expect my PM.
Roan Sinidal
So, can my training begin?
Lord Aequitas
Your new master, the High Inquisitor, will be away until tomorrow. He will most likely begin your training then.
Roan Sinidal
No disrespect to Gra'tua, but patience is not something I use as the Jedi. I wish to begin my training now, is there anyone else willing to take me?
Lord Aequitas
He has asked me in private to train him as he is interested in the Church. However, I am already training Lucifer. Would it be permissable to train both?
Supreme Commander Alor
Since he already accepted Gra'tua and it was approved, and that Gra'tua notified us of his absence, then I'd say no.
Real Life does take precedence. This is an OOC wait, not IC, so Patience as a Sith or Jedi does not matter, as those are IC ranks/factions.
You may duel him if you so wish and "train" him there instead, but not be his Master, unless Gra'tua does not show tomorrow or does not notify us of a prolonged absence that is added onto his last note.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
[[I have been relieved earlier than expected, but if you wish to be trained by Aequitas, then I have no objection. Have fun.]]
Roan Sinidal
Please excuse me. I just desire to gain knowledge of the Dark Side soon, call it the Sith in me.
I will accept you, Gra'tua.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
If that is what you wish, but theres going to be a twist with your training. You and Madara will train in the same thread, you will go on mission to show me what you already know, that way I can skip to what ever you need to learn.
Which ever one of you is more experienced in knowledge and lightsaber combat will be granted master, the other will be warrior or Acolyte. Grand Inquisitor Prongie has given me this suggestion to create a little rivalry or competition between members.
Madara
heh....
it looks like we are Rivals now.
cant wait to see what you got,
Good Luck brother.
Roan Sinidal
You too, sister...er, brother.
Roan Sinidal
I wish to find a new master. I have the permission of Grand Mage Aequitas.
High Mage Serratus
I offer my tutelage to young Sinidal, should he accept.
High Prophet Crozeus
Roan came to me asking for my tutelage. However I made my thoughts clear in the PM, my offer is still here should you wish to take up on it.
Lord Aequitas
High Prophet, you already have an apprentice while the High Mage does not.
High Prophet Crozeus
I am aware, Lord Aequitas. However is it not at the wish of the apprentice who he is trained by?
Lord Aequitas
It is taken into consideration, but those who do have apprentices usually, for courtesy's sake, take themselves out of the running so those who do not may have a fair chance.
Roan may not have known of this and, as such, we must give him as much information as possible. Perhaps with this information, he may want to give the High Mage a chance.
High Mage Serratus
If Roan feels that the High Prophet would be a more suitable master, I will, of course, step aside but I think that were Roan to be my apprentice, it would be a profitable partnership to both of us.
High Prophet Crozeus
Of course, and had he not asked me I would not make any claim. I think we shall await Roan's answer with great expectation.
Roan Sinidal
I have looked over both of your former training sessions and believe my own skills to be reflected more by High Prophet Crozeus. Having said that, I wish tutelage under High Mage Serratus to experience and develop proficiencies not yet known to me.
High Mage Serratus
If that is your decision, we await only approval from a Lord.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum
I approve the pairing.
High Mage Serratus
Much thanks, Supreme Prophet. Roan, I shall create a training thread immediately.
High Prophet Crozeus
I wish you both luck.
High Mage Serratus
Thank you for your well-wishes, High Prophet.
High Inquisitor Gra'tua
Yes indeed good luck. I was training him, however our inactivity during the time was great. Good luck Roan.
