Roan Star

ooc: Roan Star, please report in. Remember, that when speaking in an in-character forum such as this, it is proper to designated out-of-character speech like this with "ooc" as I have or parentheses.
Roan Star

(OOC: yes, I understand)
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: Before I begin, I wish to inform you that I accept nothing less then perfection from you. You will transform from what you are now, to the Sith all strive to be. But this will not be easy. You will spend longer training with me than other apprentices. You will be expected to succeed far beyond any other. And I will accept nothing less. But, should you accept, your will be considered one of the most powerful Sith known. Do you wish to continue?
Roan Star

ooc: yes, nothing will stand between me and my goal. I will prove to you I deserve the title of "Darth" and perhaps something higher one day in the future. But I will not fail you in any such manner, no matter what.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: Wonderful. Now, tell me, in depth about your character's background, personality, traits, flaws, strengths.
Roan Star

ooc:

Background: Roan Star comes from a wealthy family who's parents owned the a fraction of the Holo-Net. He is pure-bred Coruscanti but he considers his true birth place Kashyyyk as he was born there when his parents were on a vacation there and his mother was 3 weeks due. As Roan grew up he noticed that even though he had all the wealth he was not happy. His parents were corrupt and greedy and never spent that much time with him. He also knew that his parents would bribe smugglers and other scum to start riots or anything that would make the top story on the Holo-Net. When Roan discovered his parents making a transaction one night, he snapped and blacked out. When he awoke his parents and the smuggler were dead. He then quickly packed his stuff and escaped to come to the Empire.

Personality: He is a good hearted person, but he has a dark spot in his core. He doesn't like to start fights unless he necessarily must and he likes to end things as quickly as possible. He doesn't like to procrastinate and can mostly be a very serious man, but also, when the time is right, can have fun and laugh and be a good friend instead of an ally.

Traits: He has short cropped hair, like a buzz which has a dirty-blond color to hit. His face is still young but shows development as he is in his early 20's. He has hazel eyes and a cleanly shaven face. He also has a knack for fixing things.  Anything from a small droid to a large capital ship.

Flaws: He doesn't think too much, he's brash and sometimes doesn't know when to hold his tongue, but does his best. He can sometimes be selfish if he thinks it might benefit him very much so, the repercussions of having everything handed to him. His anger can sometimes overwhelm him and blind him to his actions. He sometimes doesn't know when to just plain stop at anything.

Strengths: He's strong. A 6'2" athletic build on him as he workouts his entire body on a regular bases, never missing his workout schedule. He will always be there to protect those closest to him, (Master, fellow sith, etc.) He's book smart and also a pretty good engineer.

Bonus: He's also quite good with the ladys.  Wink
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: Very well. Now, I have a question which shall begin our in-character training. Which Imperial Order do you wish to join after you are knighted?
Roan Star

ooc: I am very much leaning towards the Royal Guards...but I also like the sound of supporting our troops with the Force in the Military.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: Interesting. Your last ooc task before I start IC training will be to send a private message to each of the leaders of the other Orders explaining that you are a task by your master, give two things that does not appeal you about the Order and two that do. Then, I would like you to send a message to Supreme Commander Marix and Shadow Protector Tarna detailing, in depth, why you wish to join them. At the end, ask them to send me a private message saying that you have sent them one, lest I will not continue your training.
Roan Star

ooc: Master, I have done as you requested. But I did not know if you wished me to send one to the Grand Mage as they're a new Order and I don't know that much about them. But if you wish me too as part of my task I will.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: No, that is fine, my apprentice. You have done well. Now, I wish for you to start our IC training. You are to meet me at the Church of the Dark Side: Capital Chapter. You can find information on that building in the Church of the Dark Side forum. Remember, think outside the box. Don't just say that there is a pretty fountain and things that are easy to see from the picture. There is an entire civilization surrounding it, go into details that no one else can see.

Also, be realistic. Don't just say you talked straight up to Praxeum's office because he is one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, you couldn’t do that. Having said that, Praxeum would have obviously informed his guards of you by now.

Lastly, as remember that you would have only met Praxeum once. You have no idea about him other then his incredible Force presence and rumors. So, you need to explain, in detail, the rumors "you have heard" about him and the preconceived notion you have about him. For references, look around the site. I don't want a simple, boring post. I want you to research about the people you will see, places, etc.
Roan Star

ooc: forgive me, master, I am lost. I do not see anything known as the "Capital Chapter" in the Church of the Dark Side forum.
High Prophet Crozeus

((Forgive me for my intrusion: http://thedarksithlords.myfreeforum.org/about4146.html))
Roan Star

ooc: thank you prophet crozeus. I assum you wish me to post here Master?
Roan Star

Roan Star walked through the numerous markets of Kuat. Stores in various languages, mostly basic, selling everything from small fruit to huge starship parts. Their were various species also around. Ugnaughts, Rodians, and of course humans.

He quickly made his way through, looking at his map as to the way to the Church of the Dark Side. He was eager to finally begin his training with his new Master. Not only had he heard so many things about him, but he was even the Supreme Prophet and anyone with a title like that had to be a somebody.

As he finally exited the market square and looked at the direction and then back up at the large building in front of him, he determined that, that was the building he was suppose to go to. Their was a large wade pool in front of it. It kinda of looked like a fountain.

As he approached, two guards in red armor barred the way with their staffs and stared down at him as the one on his left leaned down toward him.

"State your business immediately," said the guard with a boisterous tone and one that made Roan almost scared to answer.

"Uhh, I'm...I'm Roan Star...I'm here to Supreme Prophet Praxeum..he's my Master."

The guards looked at each other, obviously talking to each other, as it was impossible for Roan to see their faces through their helmets as they looked down at him.

"Yes, the Supreme Prophet has alerted us to your arrival," said the guard on his right this time.

Roan let out a sigh of relief as he started going for the door and the guards barred his entrance again with their staffs and Roan backed off, a bit scared that he might've done something wrong.

"We need to see some identification first. Just to be sure," said the one on his left this time.

"Oh, yes. Of course." Roan quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out a slip of flimsi stating his business along with his I.D. chip that the guard quickly put into a datapad and looked at the picture and back at him, repeating this several times before handing them both back to him and both of the guards stepped to the side.

"Please enjoy your time here...and might I suggest you watch what you say, do, and even see in there."

Roan gulped a bit as he shook the thoughts away and headed into the church.
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

ooc: Excellent post, my apprentice. Well done. Also, for future reference and a note for your profile, your training will take place in 87 ABY.

Praxeum sat, listening to the stillness in his office. It had seemed a decade since he could hear this sound creep into his office. He knew it would soon be interrupted by his apprentice, he had both been informed, seen through holo-cams, and sensed he was on his way. His new apprentice seemed to wield great potential, which Praxeum planned to come to fruition, and then some. It had been nearly four decades since his events with Dradin, but Praxeum could not help but hear the voices in the back of his head. The voices that screamed that this new apprentice was doomed. That Praxeum was a cursed man. But he was a Dark Lord of the Sith, more powerful then some dead apprentice’s curse. So, Praxeum merely grew his presence in the Force, letting his apprentice come find him. He had to remain where he was. Listening to the stillness.
Roan Star

Roan stepped into the candle lit church. The only other source of light coming from the door that had just opened for him. He took a few steps before the door eerily closed by itself behind him and he looked back to see the doors closed and two more guards standing at the sides of it. He was surprised, not having even noticed them when he first walked in.

Roan steadied himself and continued through the corridor, noticing the architecture of the place. He also had the feeling of being watched, not really knowing if it was his Force powers sprouting or just pure gut.

He kept walking, untiled he finally seemed to reach a door with elegant markings on it. He could feel something on the other side, dark, menacing. He reached out for the door before stopping half way and noticing the guards next to the door.

Jeez, these guys are everywhere, he thought to himself.

He continued reaching for the door as the guards didn't stop him and he slowly opened it and stuck his head into the well lit office, squinting his eyes, having been in the dim lit corridor for so long.

"S-Supreme Prophet?"
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

“Do not cower,” The Force-amplified voice of Praxeum said, “embrace your fear.” Praxeum’s feet made no sound as he walked to the middle of the study. The combination of his brilliant blue eyes, dirty white robes, and dark black and light blonde hair gave him a very mysterious, yet disturbing look. A fallen angel, nearly. “Come to me, my apprentice.” Praxeum beckoned. Eager to impress Praxeum, Roan quickly hurried in front of him, though Praxuem noted that he wouldn’t dare a glance at the Supreme Prophet.  “Tell me, why should I train you?”
Roan Star

Roan stared down at the floor, contemplating on what to tell him. He didn't know if he should tell him why he had even come to the Empire. But this was his soon-to-be master. Shouldn't he know everything about what has and is going to happen to him?

Roan slowly looked at Praxeum, staring into the blue eyes which seem to be like an endless ocean. He bit his lip, fighting back the nerves as he opened his mouth to speak.

"I've come here to seek guidance...and a place in this world. I know that I have special abilities. I can feel them flow in me, as erratic and unstable the power might be, I can still feel it. So please, teach me how to use these powers...I want to help those that I care for...and also destroy those that might try to bring an end to them or myself."

Roan paused for a second before lowering his gaze again.

"I have nowhere else to go."
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

IC: "And in your loneliness, you have turned to something you do not fully understand." Praxeum said, gaining more insight on his apprentice. "Then I wish for you to learn. The spiral staircase behind me," Praxeum continued as he pointed behind him," will lead you to my study. In it, you will find vast depths of knowledge."

Praxeum turned about,  slowly walking towards the staircase. "Now, use both texts and holo-terminals to discover about three high-ranking officials. Then, report back to me and inform me about them now and their past." Then the Supreme Prophet walked towards his desk, leaving his apprentice to begin his work.

OOC: Your task is to go to Character Profiles and read certain characters profiles then do an in-character speech about them.
