Roleplay - Mercenary DownfallThere will be an upcoming role-play which any sith can apply to join.
The basic outline of the RP will be that a large vessel has just entered local space. This vessel is owned by a private mercenary company headed by an unknown leader. This vessels arrival has prompted the emperor to act. Emperor shadow has ordered a small group of sith to infiltrate the vessel and discover its purpose.
The RP will have (predictably) many twists and turns, and each sith shall have their own role to play.
The two main objectives of the role-play are:-
1. To eliminate all high ranking officials on a freelance mercenary vessel.
2. To recover any information as to the past course of the vessel to see where it has been.
Any sith can join, as long as they state their wish to here before the RP starts, No sith may join after the RP has started, any rouge sith posting will be reprimanded and their post deleted by a mod/admin.
The deadline for volunteering is by Monday morning at 8am (GMT) Thank you.
The current sith confirmed on the RP are
Executor Duff - GM and Group leader - not an active part, just info on where to go, what to do.... I shall also stand in for some major enemy characters (bosses)
Seti - Leader of Alchemist team
Angmar - leader of inquisitorial team
Acrimonus - leader of military team
Tarna - Hand
Qel'Vos - Prophet
As can be seen there will be 3 main teams, each with a sub-story that will unfold, sith can apply to be in a specific team, but this leaves no guarantee you shall get it. Tarna and Qel'Vos shall play individual roles.
Any questions for the RP can be posted here.
Note:
No sith will die in this roleplay, but some may become injured and transported back to the ship. This will result in their exit from the RP

This is becasue the initial storyline was centred around the sith, not jedi...
If you wish i could include jedi in upcoming RP's but it simply doesnt fit in with the storyline of this one, i didnt mean to discriminate but sometimes it just happens

I'm pretty big on personal freedoms. However, Xander, if you wish to begin a roleplay wherein both Sith and Jedi may participate on this site, I would not object in the least. The truth of the matter is that not so many Jedi frequent this site and I will not force Duff to accept any who do. But feel free to begin one or more that include both.

Considering the two are sister sites, and future projects, I would say that this site allows Jedi on it as well. From your ignorance I can safely assume you had never even heard of Rebels before I mentioned it. Do your research. This site is part of a larger thing than you realise.

Exactly why I requested to join this RP. I feel that Rebels is being used for RPs, and this site is being disregarded. All is in order, and I'll pop into the RP when called for by Duff.

I have heard of Rebels ( I am not ignorant), if you paid attention to this site (a Sith site) you would find that most of the characters are Sith.
Sith and Jedi are enemies, so I am just playing the part of the antagonizing enemy.
Now enough of this in the thread, its an RP not a debate room...

I didn't start any foolish thing. I asked to be a member of this RP in a positive move to try to bring more Jedi into RPs here, and YOU made the whingy comment.
The complaints thread is for Sith with concerns to the structure of this site. As I am neither a Sith no longer, nor concerned with the structure of the site, I need not use it.

i wasn't complaining, I was making a logical point, this still is a Sith site. Sith and Jedi are different, so unless you tell me a Sith is running the Jedi Council and Gov't (again), then please, lets have enough of this here or in other threads
To say that 2 different admins of 2 different sites should think alike on the RP's, is a mistake...

I don't see the relevance of a point that has never occurred (so why the [again?]) And I was making a logical point, the Jedi and Sith are sister sites, and are allies, not enemies. They support each other and carry the same basic rules.

The Emperor Shadow has now a say in Jedi-Sith matters on Rebels, with access to our Council Chambers, as I do here.
Palpatine never ran the Jedi Council, and as that is what we are, the pun was irrelevant.

While we are sister sites, I made friends with the founders of Rebels before many of the Sith on this forum. We're very close and any shred of canonical history you care to assimilate would reflect that fact. The Sith and Jedi of DSL and Rebels are allies out-of-character as well as in-character at this time. There are more pressing matters for us to worry about than insulting a former member of this site.

I shall start a new thread for the role-play, any discussion will be done in this thread.... Under no circumstance may you use an out of character quote... any running commentary will be done here, use it and abuse it....
Also unless I personally deem an action wrong - due to the impossibility of it happening, please do not question it in the RP, use this thread....
I would also like to request... Nay demand that all participants act accordingly in this role-play, No participant must enter slanging matches with others in the role-play and no previous arguments or disagreements will be brought into it..... You know who you are, enough is enough...
Other than that please have a good time, i shall PM all participants with "special" tasks now, please do not be disappointed if you don't get PM'ed, there is always time in the future for that...

The old days were awesome. The original Council, when they were active, ruled (Not that the new one is bad, just from my personal experience, I haven't really experienced the new Council) The Apprentices back then learnt a lil respect for their elders! Hmph!

OK this is a warning, not all sith have joined the RP as of the official first post.
Any sith who do not post before Sunday shall be discounted from this role-play and it shall go ahead without them.
It is soul crushing really as i have put a lot of time and effort into the plot of the RP, with roles for each character.
If i am forced to cut Sith out then it will require a revamp of the plot. Either way it is going ahead, as a large RP with a well thought through plot or a considerably smaller one with a patched up, last minute plot.

Yes, a leader who controls a huge criminal network galaxy wide. He does not travel with them as it is too dangerous and does not simply limit his options to mercenary work.
