Family History:
Jeridan P. S. Dilbrun was born to Killian, a Pure Blood daughter of the House Dilbrun, and Ender Shesh, a distinguished member of Kuat's Merchant Class with no Sith blood. Though she was married to Cal Lennox VII, Family tradition dictated her firstborn child be of Kuati descent. The riches young Jeridan inherited from his own House and the Shesh fortune ensured him a long and comfortable life. Later in life, he would adopt a daughter, Killian, of House Lennox, in honor of the child his mother's husband never had.
Physical Characteristics:
Jeridan's square jaw and vivid green eyes which twinkle with understanding display the taut, unblemished skin his Family prides itself on. His fingers, unnaturally long and skeletal, are unsettling but expected. He is his mother's son, possessing her light airiness, silencing a room upon entering. His proportional body is set atop powerful legs and defined musculature. His deep red lips are full and upturned, both encouraging and patient. The broad-shouldered Dilbrun is a classical archetype of his House's beauty.
Wardrobe:
Consisting of mostly bold greens, blues, browns and greys, Jeridan's wardrobe is accented by a silver headdress presented to him upon his coronation by House Harokv. The headdress was crafted over two thousand years ago by Cem Harkov, the celebrated metallurgist. Jeridan's staunch refusal to wear boots of any kind has been commented on by visiting dignitaries as 'charming.'

Biography:
Early Life [8 B.B.Y. - 9 A.B.Y.]
Young Jeridan Dilbrun would not become Shadow until his seventeenth birthday, but he would carry with him all the qualities and ambitions that the future Emperor would possess since his childhood. He lived until the age of seven in the Dilbrun Manor, which dominated a peninsula on the edge of Kuat City. It was there that his mother instilled a deep sense of responsibility and justice in her son, tools which he would use later in life as Emperor of a unified galaxy. It was late at night one evening after his seventh birthday when his mother Killian awoke him to meet with a man named Scourge, who had traveled a long distance to see him. Leaving the two in the opulent bed chamber of the small boy, his mother summoned help to begin packing items for Jeridan's departure; he would be leaving for Kroprulu.
Jeridan underwent examinations designed to test his character, courage and intelligence before being assigned to the Sith Academy on Kroprulu, the most prestigious of all the Sith's many facilities. He would spend three years in general preparation before being selected by a Sith Master, Saber. He would spend seven years by her side, a devoted pupil and follower, accompanying her on missions that would test his mantle as a warrior and diplomat. Under her tutelage, he would learn to construct his first lightsaber when he was ten and master his first Form of combat six years later. At sixteen, he was one of the most practiced users of Makashai in centuries. At the age of seventeen, he would be knighted by his master in the presence of Lord Scourge, and take the name Darth Shadow. Jeridan’s most memorable alliance made during this era of his life would be his long-time friend and confidante, Lady Ducki, Zania Rebus.
Yuan Rebellion [9 A.B.Y. - 12 A.B.Y.]
Though he was actively sought by Orders and groups throughout the galaxy, Jeridan returned home to Kuat for the first time in a decade and put his career on hold. His homecoming was celebrated by his uncles Rodolphus and Jae, each of whom presented him with a gift that Shadow would wield later in life. Rodolphus, his mother's youngest brother, presented him with a custom-designed, green-painted Eddicus-class planetary shuttle that would later be christened Empire One. Jae, brooding and calculating, gave him the lightstaff with which he would execute the last members of House Yuan. The full details of Shadow's reunion with his mother have never been fully disclosed. It is suspected that on the night of his return, following his uncle's celebrations, Shadow was partied to a secret meeting between his Family and the representatives of a majority of the Pure Blood Houses.
This secret council rallied around the young, idealistic Shadow, whose path to greatness they had followed while he was an apprentice. Little else of the revolution's preplanning is known, and records were later sealed by Shadow personally. Whether or not he was a true leader of the secret council or simply a rallying point has been subject of many debates. One thing scholars have agreed on is that he emerged to be above his conspirators, by design or acumen, however, is unclear. He spent six months underground in his Family's manor, where the revolution was plotted and planned, before emerging as the field commander of a full-scale resistance to Yuan dominion.
For the next two-and-a-half years, he would lead the combined strength of twenty-two of the thirty Pure Blood Families as Supreme Commander, where he acquired invaluable knowledge in military tactics, warfare and Battle Meditation. Months before his twenty-first birthday, Shadow's forces triumphed over the Yuan fleet in a final push towards the capital. Kroprulu had fallen in a bitter rebellion, which ended with Shadow personally leading the ground assault against the Palace which claimed the lives of Emperor Scorpius and all Palace personnel who had not defected. Clamoring for the riches and possessions of the seven defeated Houses who supported the Yuan, Shadow's supporters were met with disappointment when he granted amnesty for those willing to pledge fealty to him.
Escaping an ill-conceived assassination attempt from surviving Yuan clansmen, Shadow ordered the complete and public execution of every Yuan, save for Eriaté, better known as Darth Arden, whose service was met with commendation. This precedent laid the groundwork for the cleansing of all disloyal Sith from the surviving Houses, and over three hundred were executed in a two month reign of terror, overseen by the Emperor-to-be.

No worries, I fixed it.
Emperor Shadow
Beg pardon?
Oh! Your own name. Thank you.
Lady Ducki
'Tis no problem. Thanks for mentioning me .
Emperor Shadow
Well, you, me, Lanik, Scion, Divious and Actir were the first apprentices this site had. I figure since Lanik, Scion and Actir have frolicked away, I need to mention Divious.
