Abandoned on the cold streets of Corellia, Tanya was a lonely child who tinkered in mechanic's shops for meager wages to get off-planet transportation. Before she could earn enough credits, an unknown Sith came and took her away to Korriban. He had been seeking an apprentice and he seemed to be in the right spot at the right time when he sensed the Force in Tanya. He whisked her away to Korriban to teach her to manipulate the Force in the ways of fear, anger, and hatred. He taught her nearly everything he knew until a new Jedi appeared who assassinated her Master, took Tanya under his wing, and relocated her to Coruscant. She learned lots on Coruscant but not as much as the Sith had taught her. She fought temptations of the Dark Side all the time. It made her hunger for power. Finally giving in, she seperated herself from the Jedi, relocating once again on a planet known as Wayland. There she ruled over a small community of the natives, until something stirred inside her that made her want to return to duty. And so the story of Tanya, the greyed Jedi, continues on.........

Inviting Torran Kryll into his office, they came to terms. DFE would give Torran the credits the ship was worth, his own ship, and a sum of 100,000 credits. Realizing that DFE was an opportunity of a lifetime, Torran resolved to work for them, taking over his father’s duties. As soon as his Corellian CR-80 Corvette, Lost Will, was ready, Torran set out to work for DFE. As the business grew, Dark Flame, the newly named Darth Marix, invited Torran to join him in the Sith Empire. He then told him of the power he had sensed within, and the opportunities that awaited in the great empire. Joining Darth Marix upon his CR- 90 Corvette, The Avenger, they left for Kroprulu, the Sith capital. |
I knew that bio looked familiar. You took Torran's old bio and made it yours.

I know that there is no restrictions on names as long as they are justified but why do you use the name Tanya?
Wouldn't it save a lot of confusion and controversy if you chose a different name?
By all means use this name as i am not one to question it but it does get quite confusing, especially as you clearly know each other....

Usually its not OK to question someone's literacy but if you don't understand something then you should not just leave it, Darth Acheron could clearly not understand what Tanya was trying to say and so he asked for clarity. He did not simply lambaste Tanya.

Why not? When its so horribly bad that I can't understand it, am I to just sit back and find some English Professor to decode it?
Writing well and spelling things correctly makes a huge difference in how people perceive you in a place where all anyone has to go off is how you write. People who spell things incorrectly are usually assumed to be of a young age, whilst people who write well are seen as being more mature, and older.
If you can't write well on the board, it implies you are bad at writing in all aspects of your life, so its in everyone's best interests for everyone to write correctly, both to make it easier to interpret, but also to give a better representation of yourself.
This is a board, not a chatroom, so using "1337" speak is not exactly welcome here. It'd be like writing your homework in 1337 speak. It just isn't right.
