Tarna stood in the Kroprulu hanger bay. His blue corvette, the Liberty, hummed nearby preparing for takeoff. He wrapped his cloak around him as rain entered the hanger. Blasted weather. he thought to himself.

Darth Relentless

Relentless joined his master in the hanger bay. A sly smile formed on his face as he looked out at the harsh weather. "just like home" he said to himself.

"Good. Let's go." Tarna turned and boarded the ship. He pointed to a small room, "That's your quarters. We'll be arriving in a few hours."

He went up to the cockpit. He raised the ship and flew out of Kroprulu's atmosphere. He entered coordinates, and activated the hyperdrive.

Darth Relentless

Relentless sat in his quarters, a number of thoughts going through his mind. The tough training he has ahead of him, what this field trip might involve. Nonetheless he waited patiently, all the while the low hum of the ships hyperdrive ringing in his ears.

The ship pulled out of hyperspace above Korriban. Tarna lowered the ship into the atmosphere. He flew down towards the Valley of the Dark Lords. Finding a piece of flat land, Tarna activated the repulsors and brought the Liberty down for a landing.

Tarna and Relentless went down the boarding ramp. The Sith Priest looked around at the dry, arid surface. Dust and sand blew around. "Do you know why the Valley of the Dark Lords got it's name, my apprentice?"

Darth Relentless

If a sith lord died, his body was cermoniasly buried in one of the burial complexes the sith had erected on Korriban, thus getting its name "Valley of the Dark Lords".

"Correct." Tarna said with a grin. "Now, if you'd follow me." he said. They began walking down the slopes. Finally, they came to the Valley. Tarna looked around, then at his datapad. "That way." he said, pointing to a cave.

They entered the cave. As soon as they entered, a flock of shyracks came at them. Tarna unclipped his two yellow blades and sliced one open.

Following his masters lead, Relentless unclipped his lightsaber. With one swift movement he downed two shyracks with his saber. Relentless took a short moment to look at the fallen shyracks and bask in his achievement, his glory was shortlived however as three more flew directly at him knocking him off balance. "No time to be cocky now" he thought to himself as he re-positioned himself and swung his lightsaber, slicing through another one. Still fending off the flying menace,he looked over to see how his master was fairing.

Tarna spun around, his lightsabers behind his back. Then, he tossed them up in the air. He blasted a shyrack away with Force Lightning, then caught the two electrum hilts. Tarna spun them around his body, then twisted the blades to cleave two shyracks in half. He jumped and landed on top of one. His blade sliced through it's neck, crashing it to the floor. He rolled and swung upwards, catching one that was headed for Relentless.

"Much appreciated master". Impressed by his masters skills, Relentless continued the onslaught taking out another shyrack, slicing it right through the middle. "They're starting to flee master" Relentless shouted as a couple of shyracks flew off in the distance. Eager to finish in style, Relentless used the force and managed to bring down one of the cave ceiling rocks onto one of the fleeing shyracks, crushing it to the ground.

"Very good, young one. I see your lightsaber skills are improving." Tarna said. "You should duel General Matas. That is quite an experience." Tarna chuckled slightly.

They walked on. The cave smelled of mold. Finally, they came to the back. There was a massive drop, and a single bridge crossing it. "Terantateks used to live around here. However, they have died in the four thousand years since they were created." Tarna had checked, and the Great Beasts had been exterminated from Korriban.

They began to cross the bridge, when they heard a slight rustle. "Relentless, run!" Tarna screamed as he whipped around. There was quiet, then a deafening roar. "No....it can't be." Tarna whispered to himself. Then, the great Terentatek came out from the shadows, and Tarna cursed his luck.

He knew he could not win in a direct fight. So, Tarna took out a charge. He placed it on the bridge, and primed it. But the beast got to him. The massive legs pinned him down. Tarna threw the detonater at Relentless just before he was stepped on. Tarna then barely yelled, "Blow the bridge!" while he was still on the bridge.

Thrown into a world of uncertainty, Relentless was unsure what action to take. Would he do as his master wishes, blow the bridge and risk his masters life? or would he stay and risk both their lives and hope that both he and his master can handle the Terentatek together.
With no time to spare Relentless placed the detonater on the end of the bridge. "Are you sure about this master?!" he shouts over at Tarna who is still struggling beneath the massive legs of the beast.

"You have potential! You can get out of here alive! Blow the bomb!" he managed to yell as he tried to get out from under the beast's feet.

Darth Relentless

Relentless triggered the bomb and ran towards the cave exit. Diving outside just as the explosion erupted, he took cover from a distance, the sound of the rocks and cave walls collapsing in was deafening. He waited till all was quiet, till every last rock had dropped and the dust had settled before going back in. Relentless ignited his lightsaber and began cutting through the rocks that had fallen and blocked his path. He just had to find out what had become of his master.

Suddenly, as Relentless was cutting, the rocks vanished. The bridge was intact, and Tarna stood with a grin on his face. "It seems that even though we haven't entered the tomb yet, Ludo Kressh has begun to test you." the Sith Priest said.

"When you sacrificed me, you proved you had the strength to relieve yourself of attachment. Attachment is allowed, but making foolish descisions over attachments is the dumbest thing you can do. Do you understand, young one?"

Darth Relentless

"Ah i see now master" Relentless said, lowering his saber. "It was all a test".
Relentless was relieved his master was alright and that he had chosen the right decision. "I am honoured to be learning so much from you master, i hope i can further impress you as my training continues".

"Save the sucking up for the Lords and Ladies." Tarna said with a grin. They walked over to a marble door. The door was covered in ancient runes. "Relentless, I cannot enter with you. May The Dark Side Be With You."

"As you wish master". Relentless took a moment to prepare himself, then walked through the marble door..

Relentless walked along a hallway. The Dark Side was immensely strong here. After some time, he saw Ragatoe Aront and a few other Padawans. Ragatoe said, "Relentless, we believe the Council is failing. The Empress is weak. Come, we are going to end their blasphemy."

(( I don't think Ragatoe would do this, I just needed a name of an apprentice. ))

Relentless had no intention of betraying the council, but knowing Ragatoe and the others would most certainly strike him down for not joining them he decides to play along for now until the time is right. "What are we waiting for?" Relentless said. "Lets go."

((I wasn't sure if we are continuing the roleplay or if you wanted me to give you a difinitive answer to what i would do in that situation?))

"Good." said Ragatoe. Suddenly, the vision vanished. In it's place, Ragatoe and his friends stood around Empress Saber. "You are all traitors." the Empress said calmly. She unclipped her lightsaber and said, "Surrender quietly or die quickly."

Darth Relentless

Relentless knew this was the time. He unclipped his lightsaber and stood next to the Empress. "foolish Ragatoe" Relentless said.
As he ignited his saber he knew he had a greater chance fighting alongside the Empress than he ever did on his own, and if things don't work out at least he would die defending the Empress and the council.

The Sith Empress put her graceful hand on Relentless' shoulder. Then, they all vanished. Relentless knew this was a sign that he had done the right thing.

He turned around to see the Jedi Master Vikro standing there. Vikro said, "Come join the Jedi."

Darth Relentless

Relentless didn't have to think twice this time. "Join the Jedi?" he asked with a disgusted sneer. "NEVER!" he shouted. Relentless readied his saber and awaited a response.

"Why do you want to stay with the Sith?" said Vikro, he stood there without motion.

Darth Relentless

Relentless replied with an evil grin "I have no time for your Jedi rules and morals, as Sith i can become more powerful and be as one with the darkside of the force without restriction. I can use my power to its full potential and learn much more from the force than any Jedi ever could. To me, Sith is the ONLY choice".

Sovereign Defender Tarna

"Look at the history books. The Sith have never won. The Jedi have always come out on top." Vikro said.

Darth Relentless

"Lets see if i can change that!" Relentless shouted as he comes at Vikro with an aggresive overhead strike with his lightsaber.

Vikro raises his hand, and pulls Relentless' saber to him. "Not going to work." he said crisply.

Darth Relentless

Despite how angry he was at how easily he was disarmed, Relentless stood his ground firmly. "Do what you will, but you will never get me to join the Jedi" Relentless said fiercely.

"Is that so?" Vikro said slyly. He lit his blue saber and held it inches from Relentless' throat. "Jedi or die." he said.

Darth Relentless

"Then die it shall be" Relentless said proudly.

Vikro disappeared. Relentless sighed, he knew he has passed again.

Relentless heard a strong Dark Side current call to him. He walked into a large room. In front of Relentless stood the Dark Lord Darth Revan. The Sith Lord stood in his traditional robes, hood, and mask. Revan stepped forward and said, "Hello, young Sith."

*bowing in respect* "Hello Lord Revan" Relentless replied.

"Kill me." Revan said coldly.

Darth Relentless

Relentless stepped back somewhat shocked. All sorts of confusion ran through his mind. He couldn't kill a respected lord of the sith such as Revan.... ...could he?.... .... Sensing Lord Revans frustation at his delay, Relentless finally replied "No Lord Revan, I will not kill you".

Picking himself up, Relentless was enraged. "Wait!" he shouted to Lord Revan. "You want me to kill you?.... ....then so be it!". Relentless ran towards Revan, igniting his saber and lunged at the dark lord.

Revan drew his red saber and easily blocked the attack. "Come on, now. You can do better than that."

Darth Relentless

As Relentless prepared for his next attack, he knew in his mind what had to be done. Lord Revan had demanded that the young apprentice kill him, and that is what he would try to do despite the respect he had for the legendary Dark Lord.
Relentless suddenly rushed at Revan with a flurry of lightsaber strikes ranging from mid to high, feeling more powerful with every strike.

Darth Revan blocked the first few easily. Then, the strikes became more intense. Suddenly, Revan force-pushed Relentless away. "Come on, you had the right idea for a moment."

Darth Relentless

Again Relentless ran towards Revan with agressive lightsaber strikes. He knew there was no point trying to use the force on Revan as his force skills were not yet good enough, he would stick with what he was more skilled at. Lightsaber duelling.
As Relentless continued his onslaught, he could feel himself gaining the upper hand.

"You're focusing too hard. Just let go." Revan said.

Darth Relentless

Relentless took heed of Revan's words and let go. His lightsaber strikes became more free-flowing and again continued his attack.
The turn of events ran through Relentless' mind. Here he was, a young sith apprentice battling the legendary Lord Revan. First filled with doubt, but now all clear. To pass this next part of the test he would kill the dark lord..... .....or die trying.

Revan moved his saber gracefully. The motions seemed like one large move instead of several sequences placed together. The young Sith became stronger and stronger, faster and faster. "Yes! That's it! Now, finish the task!"

Darth Relentless

With all the adrenaline built up, Relentless plunged his lightsaber right through Revan's stomach. The sound of Revans lighsaber echoed through the room as it dropped to the floor. Relentless drew back his saber and watched as Revan himself also fell to the floor.

Revan stood there, staring at the red blade in his stomach. "Your master awaits you outside." the Dark Lord said. Then, as if in slow-motion, Revan fell backward and died on the floor.

Darth Relentless

Relentless clipped his lightsaber back onto his belt and walked towards the door. He took one last look back and thought about all that he had gone through. He took a deep breath, opened the door and walked outside..

Tarna turned as Relentless walked out. The young Sith was different. He...felt...different in the Force. Like he had more burdens, yet more power.

"Come, my apprentice. Let's go home."
