Temptation Chapter I : Enter Shiloh

A NEW MESSIAH?

Galactic City, Coruscant (HoloNet) – It was not so long ago that the satellites had reported a magnetic catastrophe on a CoreWorlds sun called Herakleion, that led the Ravin Sector into a new era unintentionally. Shortly after the magnetic storm hit near planets, causing local natural disasters and many death tolls on non-urban settlements, the God of Sky has blessed the lands with a divine favor in return of the lives taken.

Shortly after the catastrophe, a 4 year old human girl had gained a local attention first, later turned into a complete cult in Galactic Core. According to unofficial reports, this girl, located in city of Shiloh on planet Talravin, has started to show intense telekinetic and telepathic abilities as well as healing powers. Rather than tagging her abilities as force user, the people have started to believe in her as the Messiah of new millennium and “the crowd” has grown into a cult in just few weeks, spreading near sectors. Even in Coruscant, it has been reported that some cult members have officially applied government to get recognition and establish a Church for their belief.

Again, according to unofficial reports, before the storm, the girl was crippled and autistic and after the sun’s pulse hit the Talvarin sector, the girl has been healed by an invisible “divine” power, granting a healthy body and mental abilities.

Due to lack of further information, The HoloNet journalists have already started a big research on this cult’s rapid appearance on galaxy scene, and we will continue to inform our citizens soon as much as possible.

Coruscant 07.42 AM

"Most disturbing" Elric said while scratching his goatee. To investigate the situation, he and Prophet Crozeus were summoned to Coruscant as well as Serratus of Order of Sith Mages and they were now waiting in an apartment close to Empire Council, waiting for decisions about the issue. To keep the mission hidden, Inquisitor Gra'tua were assigned to present the squad on Council and he was going to be the main communication source between the base and them.
High Prophet Crozeus

"Indeed." Prophet Crozeus had taken a lot of his resources for the mission. He was armed to the teeth, with a total of five lightsabers and a sniper rifle, and wore a cuirass of polished Mandalorian Iron, and he had a orbalisk mail shirt as well.

"I wonder if we can harness this power."

Ever the opportunist, Crozeus was always thinking about ways to benefit his Order... and himself.
Mage Superior Odin

"We don't know the real possession of this child's power, it can be either our triumph or destruction... And the visions... Even if there any piece of them are correct, we are... doomed..." Elric told silently. The dark visions he had over months were getting more and more disturbing since last 1-2 weeks, and the appearence of this event was not really a surprise for him.

After a few hours ,they were still roaming inside the apartment near Council building. Elric was getting a little bit paranoid, while Crozeus was cleaning his small-scale armory.

"The busy Coruscant... Always in a hurry" Elric told himself while staring out of a large window. Just after a second, Elric's holo had rung, changing both's attention on itself. It was Inquisitor Gra'tua.

"An escort is assigned to take you to Imperial Starport that will arrive there in 15 minutes. The briefing will be presented after you board the ship."
High Mage Serratus

Serratus, who had been meditating in a corner, rose from his sitting position. Using the Force he summoned Arbiter from the wall against which it had been leaning to his hand and brushed a stray dreadlock back.

"Let us sally forth gentlemen."
Mage Superior Odin

With the last information about their escort, Elric quickly grabbed his holo-projector from his pocket while two others in the room were already on the move. After a few second delay, two figures appeared on projector with an interlaced vision.

"Apprentices, rendezvous in 15 minutes on hidden portpad 67. Entrance code: PRS-15. Odin out" Without losing another second, Elric rushed Crozeus and Serratus to keep the pace up.
Marius Praxeum

Marius was onboard his personal craft, where he generally quartered himself for short visits on a planet he had no apartment on or had no desire to spend money on a hotel. And it gave him the quiet he needed and the safety he required of himself. He got the message and hurried to ready himself. Once ready, he headed for the specified platform, typing in PRS-15 when prompted to by the security system. Standing still, he stood waiting for the others to arrive from their further resting places.
High Prophet Crozeus

It was a fair distance to their target, and Crozeus guessed the apprentices would make it there before they did. The two Prophets and the High Mage walked hurriedly through the streets, attracting several odd looks from pedestrians. Considering Coruscant had nearly always been considered the capital planet of the galaxy, even though it wasn't thought so in the Sith Empire, it shouldn't have been too much of a surprise to see Sith walking the streets of the planet-metropolis.

However, the people stopped and stared. They must have looked odd, Serratus with his staff, cloak and dreadlocks, Crozeus with his gleaming white robes and shining armour, Odin in Prophet's robes. Since the reclusive Dark Lord Acrimonous had retired, Grand Mage Aequitas had taken over Moffdom of the planet. Ever since he had the planet had drastically improved - as Grand Mage Aequitas had a huge knowledge of what makes society successful and he applied that superbly on Corsucant.

It took the three some twenty minutes to reach the hidden portpad. They had slipped through several abandoned buildings and deserted alleys in order to get there and Crozeus was certain no one had followed them, or if they had, they would have been lost. The apprentices were waiting inside.
High Mage Serratus

As soon as Serratus saw the apprentices, he pulled out a pair of blaster pistols and aimed them at Fien and Marius.

"Check that it's them Odin. This mission is too important to risk contamination because some two-bit impostors killed your apprentices and absorbed their Force signatures."
Marius Praxeum

High Mage, do you doubt that it is us? Marius said through the Force. He was also a precautious man, and understoof the Mage's concerns. I assure you that I am who I say I am. Though this Fien character I do not know well enough to tell.

Marius stared out the glass barrier and waited for his Master to probe his mind to make sure of his identity.
High Mage Serratus

Serratus heard Marius's voice in the Force and knew that only he could speak through the Force in that voice.

"Very well, Praxeum is Praxeum, Fien, prove your identity or you'll find yourself on the receiving end of a blaster bolt to the head."
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus looked at Fien. He had seen the apprentice a few times with Odin in the Church, and as with everyone he found... Crozeus looked the apprentice up and down, staring hard, probing him with the Force. He detected the exact same nuances in his Force signature. It was definitely Fien... or perhaps a very good spy.

"It's him, High Mage," Crozeus said, not taking his eyes off the apprentice.
Mage Superior Odin

"Indeed, High Mage!" Elric directed his hand towards Serratus' hands and blasters had started to tremble by an invisible power. "My apprentices do not require to present themselves each time, I can feel their spirits. My mind has been forged with piercing hammers long ago with an unholy curse - It needs more than guts to trick me..." He continued staring at Serratus face as he observed Mage's eyes slide from apprentices to Prophet. Elric was staring at him disturbingly, without blinking.

"Everyone is under-pressure with a tremendeous stress. The importance of the mission hangs on our shoulders and we dont have an option to fail or waste time. Please High Mage, we shall proceed to board" He told with a much warmer tone. Elric was feeling that his previous statement was a bit extravagant, but as he told, the tension of the mission was hardly-bearable.

Serratus lowered his hands in silence and placed his blasters back into their holsters and flashed at Elric in a second then the apprentices. "Very well, lead the way" He smirked, but his face was still sour.

As Elric, Crozeus and Serratus walked with haste towards their transport's door, two apprentices, Marius Praxeum and Fien'dur had watched them half-timid, both thinking about what just happened. In fact, Marius was not looking too doubtful, considering his previous service with navy and it was surely harsh as he had climbed the ladders through the admiralship, bu on the other hand, Fien'dur was rather lacking authority experience naturally due his young age.

As Sith Masters had entered ship one by one, apprentices followed them from a distance, boarding the ship few seconds later. The ship was an rusty smuggler transport without any visible weapons or defense systems, while entering the ship, Fien'dur had hardly read the name of the ship on eroded plates next to bridge windows, "Locust", fitting well with the shape of the ship.
Marius Praxeum

Marius looked around in disgust at the condition of the craft he was about to enter. He understood the need to blend in sometimes, but to let it go this far? That was a disgrace.

"So. What do we know?" He asked, trying to start a discussion that would help them gather their thoughts.
High Prophet Crozeus

Crozeus shrugged. He had been blending in to things his whole life, so he wasn't that bothered about the filth on the ship... though on the other hand, it wouldn't be good if the engine fell off mid-flight. He looked over to Marius.

"We are going to be briefed," he stated. Then he looked around again at the ship's interior. "Apparently."
